That was such a great foundation review! Thank you for being so detailed. It really helps us older gals. Well I have to say I have tried many, many foundations in the past but the chanel ultra teint velvet lumiere is by far the best. It looks so natural, does not transfer, blurs my pores, does not emphasize texture, long wearing, does not settle into lines....I have many lines as I am 62 years old. It was recommended by Hot and Flashy and I have not found a foundation as beautiful as this. Every other foundation looks like I have foundation on which I hate.
It's just part of her marketing strategy, unique for her, like every other name of her products (goddess, hollywood etc.). I don't mind it, since I became used to the names. 😂

That's a real honest and still very respectful review! Thanks I tried the Luminous Silk and loved it... got the Backstage one to do my cousin's make up for her wedding and loved it... but since I have tried the La Mer foundation... oh my God!!! I feel like no other foundation could reach that result... and I hope that also since it's soooooo expensive!!! (At least until I finish it 😂😂😂).
I had been considering buying this foundation and your review was extremely helpful because I have the same skin issues you described. I have noticed the thicker foundation I use the more noticeable my skin texture is. Thank you for the review.

Ohhh Andrea! . If you could do all tutorials so close. It is so nice to see the real face, so we don't have unrealistic expectations we we apply make-up and it doesn't look perfect like in the videos where they have strong lights and maybe some apply even filter.
I loved the whole look, but not used to seeing with such a full coverage foundation. You could see it accentuated the lines on your forehead. Please do a video on the rest of the makeup. You look gorgeous as usual love 💕

there is no full coverage without having at least a bit of cakyness. Unless you're that lucky person with a flawless skin, but then you wouldn't need a full coverage foundation. If you want full coverage you need to make a compromise. If you're ok with less coverage then I have a whole video with my top 5 favorite medium coverage foundations that actually look beautiful on a skin with flaws, like mine. The whole filter industry and photoshop made us all believe there is such thing as perfect skin but it isn't ! I promise!

I think that this particular foundation is not the best coverage for you. Of course, you always look beautiful, but this was the first video I could see the veins just lateral to your right eye. I, also, loved the lashes on you. I loved your look today and would like to hear about the lip colors you used. I also thought the shadow on your lower medial lid was a little too much, but that may have been the look you’re looking for. I know this is an unasked for critique. Have you tried the Anastasia foundation? I’m still looking for my holy grail that doesn’t pull my face down with the heavy rubbery feel (NARS Sheerglow) - I only bring that one up because it’s supposed to be light.

Her shades are off, though I do love it and for once have a PERFECT shade. I’m a neutral 5, though I’m very yellow and have such a hard time finding a shade. Not even Fenty has a match for me. But neutral is not neutral. You too were able to see the discrepancy with the shades.
