Thanks again for a great video. Any advice on Sat Nav ? My car tells me by voice that the Sat Nav is off but how do I switch it on ? 2006 SL 350. Thanks Nigel
When you press nav on the Command does it do anything? If not then check in your trunk for the DVD player left side behind cover that controls the satnav, maybe you just need disc?
Hi Great video very helpful, I am from UK do you know if the headlights can be adjusted to drive one the other side of the road in Spain I have an SL 350 2004 thanks
Modern cars would probably have an electronic adjustment, but our Mercedes SL use manual adjustment screws on the headlight itself, if you have a look there will be an image indication to guide you up down, left right 👍
Hi everyone, I have accidentally factory reset my SL, it has now reverted to German only, in the settings menu (Einstellungen) it is giving almost no options and I can't find any sub-menu for changing language at all, any advice? Thanks in advance 👍🏻
HI, and thanks for another useful video! Whilst I have followed everything you have shown above (very straight forward) I have an issue with the 'easy entry feature". It shows up on my screen but I have little if any movement on either the steering wheel or the seat - should the memory on the seat position be set first?
Okay, I know what you mean. Try pushing the seat all the way forward then all the way back, do the same with steering wheel controls. Now get in and adjust your seat to how you want it, press the door M (memory) button for 3 secs, then a number for 3 secs and then lots the M again for 3 secs, I do this as I can never remember what you press first, so this method works for me. Now go to easy entry feature and try to enable again.
...no luck🤔. Everything else is working on both seat and steering wheel movement, so I guess I will just have a play with it. Is it possible to you 'clear' all memory settings from the seat? Maybe that is a good place to start?
@@GrooveOn ....thank you, very much appreciated. One other thing - I get to 'easy entry' on the menu, and 'on/off', and I click 'on' (I have also clicked 'off' and tried again with 'on'. What I don't get is an option to choose 'seat', 'wheel', and 'seat and wheel'. Maybe that is where I am missing a trick...doh!
I think the auto mirror folding option came later than 2003. Can’t find that option, so I have to press the button on the cluster below the gearlever to close them.
My SL interior looks the same as yours, Alpaca grey, a dark grey over a lighter shade of grey code 208A, but whats the colour code for the darker grey?
This is great! Just bought a 2004 SL and the owners manual is baffling. This makes far more sense 👍
Good news! Ignore the below comment, managed to get back to English- thanks for the video, mine was set up identically to yours and is again now😂
Thanks for letting us know, only one I found

Yes, there were a few differences in 2004

I'm not sure, do you mean the dark grey trim, I can check the spec sheet
