The tragedy is that Invicta could make good watches if they just would hire an actual designer instead of the 11 year old power ranger fan their currently employ.
Their customer base is mostly power rangers fans, apparently. Don’t those people deserve to have someone making watches for them? I wouldn’t buy those, but that doesn’t mean they’re necessarily a bad watch.

Yes!! One of the best for me. I dont see many people wearing watches here in Brazil anymore and those who are they prefer a smartwatch, so I think Ben is dealing with a niche of people that can't afford luxury or wouldn't wear a watch at all, but at these prices, well ... some might reconsider.

It’s bens channel that really got me on to watches. I do t h w the most impressive collection but I’m very happy with it. I love finding older watches at charity shops and flea markets rather than buying them new.
While I don’t really like Invicta watches, I really don’t mind the large brand engraving down the side of the Pro Diver. I feel like people don’t like it because they don’t want others to know they’re wearing an invicta.
I actually like the engraving on the case of my pro-divers . I got two of them the black/silver and the black/gold combo.
@@Ktrb A large number of Brazilians I see pass through Orlando on holiday wear Invicta’s. But they might have bought them here.
That's mostly because of Invicta's reputation, especially amongst watch-snobs, rather than because of the engraving _itself_ being particularly gaudy.

It’s also because at its cost the pro diver is a great modding base. If you. It on Amazon day you can get it as low as $50.
2021 gonna be the year where people start low key liking Invicta watches. They're obviously listening to the community which is interesting.

If you look through their new releases. And watch shophq where invicta is king on that channel, 99.999999% of everything they sell still are huge. Yes, u can find a couple smaller ones. Like this one in the vid or a pro diver. But 99.999% of invictas are still gaudy and huge imo.
There are people who actually like the, ahem, bolder Invictas. That's their personal style. Some people can pull it off. I'm not sure I like this particular watch, but I might like something similar.
My Dad bought me me an Invicta watch that is everything I don't like about Invicta watches. I'll likely keep it because my Dad bought it for me. I wish he'd have gotten me a Prodiver.
Ben, I started off my tiny collection with invicta, and graduated to other watch brands, but this is really a classy look, I'd love to see more like this

interesting view. you know what i actually do like it! gives it a bit more character. in fact it is probably harder to do than a normal full 6. I see it as good effort. to each his own.

Wow Ben, what a great little find. Although I do not own an Invictor, I have always had a soft spot for the Prodiver model, but this model is a real looker and could easily be worn to the office or even in a casual setting. I would even say with a better quality movement, paying a little extra, it would really be one for my collection.

nice review, love the channel. Hopefully Invicta will make more low key watches. I purchased an Invicta pro-diver over a year ago and so far I'm quite pleased with it. It keeps great time, the size isn't too big and I the materials are good (for the price).

The first watch I bought myself was an Invicta. I thought I was getting an absolute steal with the reduced price (it was a left handed watch, and I thought they couldn't sell enough of them). Not super happy when I figured out what happened! But now knowing their game, and seeing this watch I ALMOST feel compelled to buy another. Never thought that would happen!
I like how Invicta chose dark grey for the dial and strap. It tones down the rose gold and results in a very tasteful effect. The red tip on the seconds hand is a nice touch of detail as well.
This is gorgeous defo adding 2 more invictas to my watches, this and the vintage pro diver 😍
I own an Invicta. Purchased off of JOMAshop 6 months ago for $59. It's an amazingly good looking watch, stunning blue dial, unbeatable quartz accuracy and a signed crown. It gets plenty of wrist time. I love it. No shame here ✌️

I like Invicta . Always have . My Invicta diver was my first mechanical watch. I still have it. Been running and swimming with it for years. Having the name Invicta inscribed on the side of the case is okay . Confirms that it ain't pretending to be a Rolex . Invicta makes a lot of watches. And the ugly ones are damned ugly .I guess your review proves some aren't so bad.

@@ianphiliphodge Hi Philip, thx for your reply. I have a number of watches In my vast collection including luxury brands which marketing conned me into buying lol!! I hear a lot of anti comments about Invicta and yes, some of them may have credence to their claims. At the end of the day if the watch keeps good time and you feel it looks good, then what the heck does it matter what some of the watch snobs think? @@bigteno4597 I too have had the gambit of watches in my collection over the years. Got the Invicta Pro Diver last year. It is made well and wears well on my 7 1/4” wrist. It is in my rotation of about 8 of my newer watches that I wear usually for about a week at a time.

I stumbled across this range on Jomashop some time ago, I thought they looked fantastic, fair few options as well, rose gold, yellow gold, regular steel with a fair few dial colours
Would suggest you check out the Invicta "1953" Model 31290, that is, a really solid and nice watch from Invicta

@@impatrickt Me too, the model is 34334 It's really a gorgeous time piece. I think it's still be available from INVICTA Europe which is where I got mine.
I definitely like the looks of it.
I only have two criticisms:
1) They need to make an automatic version.
2) If they put lume on the hands, they really should put a lume pip at the 12 marker. That would help you orient the watch better in the dark.
They also need to change the index at 6 o'clock as its getting cut off by the date window
I like how it looks! I would definitely consider this one if I was still in the market for a dress watch. However, I think it's still a bit pricey for $75.

This is very different from usual invicta watches and kudos to you for your effort in finding a decent looking watch from invicta's catalog. However, the case finishing, rose gold color, the inner mechanics, and it being a quartz feels like it should be priced at $40-$50.

One step at a time
I have three Invicta watches, had two of them for nearly 10 years and they are great! I speak as I find and if I felt they were garbage, then I would say so!!
Great review! Tissot has a look a like but with a mechanical movement. I can’t remember the model but all these are based on an old Rolex model which was hot back then but has almost been forgotten.
Everybody seems to hate the Invicta engraving, I don't like it either, but I never have seen anybody complaning about the same thing on Blanc Pain.
Atually dont mind it. i think its a nice touch for the price point. Friend of mine has a pro diver and and i feel like its tremendous value

To be honest, Invicta have quite a few classic looking watches ... but everyone’s usually too focused on criticizing the large oversized offerings from them (which i cant blame them lol) .. i myself love the classic looking 15259 and 15260 as well as the pro diver series you reviewed earlier ... cheers from Canada! :)

This watch is so nice. It’s far from perfect but it has good dimensions, attractive dial, decent case finishing for the price. Wish it was easier to find online here in Canada!

This was a fair review. I am an avid Invicta fan I like the designs they come up with. I own hundreds of them.
I recently got my first invicta watch: the 34334 and even though the bezel insert is ever so slightly misaligned I'm actually quite happy with it.
I have an Invicta 7030 Speedway. It was the only yellow gold chronograph with white dial to fit my extremely small wrists. It's a good quality watch in my opinion with a sapphire crystal and Seiko movement and although it does resemble a Daytona it doesn't really matter to me. From an obsessed watch enthusiast keep up the good work.

The Invicta pro diver 29938 is nice watch for my small wrist and I like the esthetic too. It definitely got some inspiration from the Rolex Yacht master but I don't mind that much. Great video👌

Hey, they do make some very good watches. The 8926ob and "1953" Pro Divers are some of the best budget automatic watches around. I also found a 2275 on Ebay. It's a bit bigger than this one, and it's Automatic. I'm a big guy, so I can wear a 42mm fairly well. And it's fairly dressy looking as well.

This reminds me a little of a Breitling, the way they put the IV like Breitling puts the B on top the name. Check out as an example the "Breitling Premier Automatic Anthracite".

I am a fan of Invicta and have quite a number of them and i am the first to admit that they make some God awful looking oversized watches.
But like you found they do make some very nice tasteful watches well built but at a modest price.
A couple of years ago i was looking at Bronze watches but i could not afford or justify the purchase price of one until i stumbled upon the INVICTA BRONZE PRO DIVER 25642, yes the make a very good budget bronze dive watch. Solid as a rock with NH35 movement see through ca se back rock solid and for around £200.
I now have 2 and they are some of the best pieces i own .
Check them out great value great quality for the price.

It is a nice looking watch. I have several Invicta watches. I don't like the large ones they make but to each his own. Nobody is forcing anyone to buy an Invicta. Ppl can be so obsessed with such hatred for Invicta. Live and let buy.....! Nice video.
I would love to hear what you think of this watch also from INVICTA family. It's the Glycine Combat 6 Classic 36mm. It uses a Sellita movement and the price drop in the US has been crazy. They've been going for under $300 from MSRP of $1300. I think this is really worth doing a review on.
My only experience with Invicta is my 9937OB with an SW200 movement. I’ve worn it for over 10 years and it’s been great.

I don't like style of most Invicta watches, but I do have an 10+ year old Invicta multifunction 2876 blue dial, which I really enjoy. It's had a lot of wear and the "fusion" crystal still is scratch free. The blue dial changes to blue/purplish as the light angle changes, and looks good. So if you like it, why not?
I am not an Invicta fan, but there are a few hidden gems in their catalog that can be rather surprising. For example, the Model 23075 is an aircraft-style automatic (NH35A movement, I believe) that is great for me because it has a high-contrast, easy-to-read face and large hands and numerals that is great for older eyes, yet doesn't have so much gingerbread trim that it distracts from what it is supposed to do - indicate the time and date in a simple, clear manner. Yes, it is larger but that is actually good for visibility (especially with the flat-faced crystal) and the carbon-fiber background on the face does not distract from its functionality yet adds an interesting 3-D "pop" that makes you look twice at it. It wears well on my larger wrist and works well for me. Just my two cents worth!
I have the 9094ob pro diver, I like it except for the Invicta etched on the case, its coming off for sure.

Invicta does offer a really nice watch.The model “1953” pro diver in various colors.The nicest one I think comes in a black dial with a black and blue bezel.Some call it the Batman version.
Invicta owns glycine combat subs and they need to utilize it more! The combat subs are sized really well but could use new dial designs.
That's a nice looking watch. It probably has a Seiko NH35A movement in it as well.

That's from their Invicta "Vintage" line. I own one from that line with a champagne dial which is quite nice. Though it does have the etching on the side, I don't particularly mind it. I also own an aviator from them which riffs on a B type fleiger. It's not bad. Nothing to write home about. They both feature the same movement as the watch you showcase here, with the day and date in the same layout. Honestly, Invicta would do well to focus on these lines instead of the gargantuan monstrosities for which they are more better known.
I got an invicta as a gift seven years ago, been wearing it ever since as an everyday watch. Sure ide love an omega seamaster, but why. It still works.and I don't cry when I bang it around

I’d actually consider it if it had perhaps the NH35 movement with a 6pm date cutout, I wouldn’t mind the bump in thickness that would inevitably bring to say you had an automatic.
Along with their Pro Diver line, this is a very nice looking watch, reasonably priced. I personally think it’s a tad large for a dresser. 38 mm would be better for me. If people cringe at the tasteless Invicta monsters, I'd be interested in hearing how they feel about the monster Diesels, Shinolas, or even G-Shocks for that matter.

I had to get one Invicta just to be part of the "Invicta squabble". I bought a skeleton dress watch with brown leather strap so it actually serves a role in my wardrobe and I'l be honest, is a nice watch. I was expecting a Chinese "Forsing" feel to it but there's none of that. I can actually ware it, my black strap dress watch is the Tissot Le Locle my father wore and my brown strap is this one nowadays.

I like that a lot. I'd go so far as to say it's... cool. One thing to consider: how well will that rose gold finish hold up under regular wear?

My previous boss had a Sub mariner and I always loved that watch. So when he left the company I ended up getting a pro diver. Obviously couldn’t afford a Rolex sub mariner but loved the way it looked. Kinda look at it like the place holder for my Rolex one day. Here in South Africa as a comparison a New Submariner will cost the equivalent of $15k if you take into account the minimum wage here is $1.5 per hour you will understand how expensive it is here to own one relatively.
Every time I go on a Carnival Cruise there is a Invicta Watch sale "Event" aboard...

Nice review for a pretty decent watch. Invicta should take a look at their catalogue when they were Swiss made. The hate is most of the time justified, but as per Tag Heuer I believe it is not always deserved...it is just trendy to do so. One more thing about the Invicta engraving on the side. Would owners of the Blancpain fifty fathoms do the same with the side case shouty engraving....???
But as often happens the second hand does NOT hit the markers. How hard can it be to do that?

Have a look at the Invicta 25711. It is a 40mm lady's(?) watch but I think it is suitable for men. Maybe the dial color is intended to be feminine? Similar layout to the 31260 reviewed but the yellow does it for me. Maybe a slightly darker or burnt yellow? What do you think?
That comes totally out of left field for Invicta. I associate rose gold watches with the fashion watch industry overall, but that one is actually very nice. I love the symmetry of the day and date windows.
I don’t know why people knock Invicta? I’ve got 4 & yes 3 are CARTOON models but they are accurate, bulletproof & for the money, great value! As a tool watch with a decent look they’re hard to beat(er)! Pun intended!🤣 Not being a fan either of rose gold I think though with the grey dial it looks better than average. Good job Ben 👍🏻😎
