Thank you Tanner. I have been sim racing for just over a year now but just the other day I got a pc for Iracing. I really appreciate you videos and insight on benefits of iracing. Thanks Tanner!🎉
I had the Logitech Momo setup and a 24-inch monitor to run classic F1, NASCAR, and midgets. The visuals DID help for timing turn in and apex exit speed. How to carry momentum down the straights, etc. The feedback was minimal. Actual seat time ON TRACK where I would run sim was a bonus in anticipation of ruts and the edge of the racing line.
I ran for 15 years with a g29. But I did add a tripplehead monitor setup with 3 x 22” for the field of view. Now 30 years later I use 3x32” 144hz and a DD2 with inverted club sport pedals, but the motion platforms are real spendy 😢 and not necessary. I find it much more comfortable racing for hours than VR. A 10nm wheel and load cell brakes are the best upgrades after going triple or vr 😊
I traded my old jeep for a setup pc and wooden rig put a powered Honda seat on it. all together pc 1200 wheel and gas pedals about 280 and just race vs a streamer that have over 10k in his full setup and beat him at the chili bowl so its not how much you pay its about the time you spend on your rig that makes it or brakes it.
Congrats on the 83 ride. I was hoping you had a shot at it as soon as McFadden made his announcement.

You didn’t have a pc so you wasn’t sim racing
@@jarridhelms1568 You'd be surprised how amazing consoles can be for sim racing.
@ You can play other simulation games except Iracing.
Tanner Any chance you host some races on iracing?
My mom got me a racing simulator and it is so fun
❤❤❤❤❤ that's gonna go viral
Tanner, just start a gofundme for the rig, only need 5,400 people to donate $5
Ahh the wonders of iracing content from Tanner! Happy Holidays from one of the OG’s,

Is the simulator close to what it feels like in real life ?
Yea on a Facebook post he explains how close to irl the sim is.
Can't be too real if the trophy girls don't give you a BJ after the race.
If i was rich i would love that motion sim
I have a 15 thousand dollar racing sim😅
