- We like our flies with a little extra flash in the fall, the red holo tinsel in this pattern does just that and bloodworms are a staple food source for trout during the fall so tie this one up and give it a fish next time you find chironomid larvae in your throat samples! It won’t disappoint!

Nice bloodworm mate , i tied one very similar but with a green holographic hotspot in it as the natural has a tiny green halo in it , you can only see it under a microscope, i seen it in a fishing magazine many years ago and it works to this day , its absolutely deadly here in the UK!! Ive had fish up to 18lb on it , so give it a wee try in you're next bloodworm im sure you wont be disappointed 👍👍👍👍
