i like their products and their sales. today its 9-degrees outside so no maintenance wash for me today. dont need the water to freeze. last night i installed the carpro measuring cup on the top of my diy rinseless bottle....so easy to measure.
Washed my car the other day using N95 and then Titan as my drying aide. When I run out of the N95 I think this and the rest of the DYI might be worth checking out. Merry Christmas to you and your family, and the whole FAB family too.👍✌️☮️
I have been enjoying the DIY rinseless and I really like the cleaning power. I also enjoy how awesome of a detailer you are and I think you could be an instructor for IDA. Merry Christmas brother!
I live in northern Indiana. Definitely need a heater in the winter. How do you heat your garage? Right now I have a propane buddy heater but it gets a little smelly with it running. And if I ventilate to much it defeats the purpose. Just ordered my first products from DIY detail. Can’t wait to get them!!!
I have a mini split ductless unit that gives me A/C in the summer and reverses flow and gives me heat in the winter. Works awesome until it gets into the negatives like this weekend then it struggles a little bit. Still stays above 55 though. I usually keep the garage 68 all year.
Ok cool. Thanks. I’ve been thinking about a mini split. What brand do you have? If you don’t mind me asking. I was looking at the senville brand I believe.
That Indiana and Kentucky weather are hit or miss. It's cold this weekend with snow and ice and by next weekend it's supposed to be 55 lol. I see you and Carlos using these products and I'd like to try them but I have a ton of product from your website I gotta get through first 🤣
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing Merry Christmas to you and your family. With your education and love for your customers...you will continue to have my support. Keep rocking it brother and my kids keep stealing my stickers from your boxes 🤣
Great video. I am just learning rinseless wash techniques. My question is this, after spraying on wash, you immediately go to the sponge. I watched Ivan's video and he rinsed with water before using the sponge. So your method is quicker obviously. Is it ok not to rinse the spray off before using the sponge? Thank you.
It's just my method we all do it differently. I was just with Yvan and he did it the same way I do it. The only time you would want to rinse off would be if the vehicle is to dirty to go straight into washing.
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing Thank you very much for the reply and information. Like I said I am just learning all of this with the rentless so I appreciate you taking the time to reply. Have a great day
This is another rinseless wash I'd like to try. The other on my list is Absolute. There are getting to be so many choices. Too cold to mess with right now.
So many good products out there these days. I am just a DIYer, and have three cars so that isn't enough! I guess I will just have to solicit my neighbors cars for me to satisfy my hobby!
Yvan also has a video where he DOESN'T use it [grit guard]. It was in the one gallon/Utah-drought video. I tried it. I use only two gallons of water, so I decided to not use the guard as it's very difficult dumping it in the water otherwise. I'm careful not to touch the bottom of the bucket by placing my hand underneath sponge.
Great review! Was gonna ask you next FAB Family Hangout when you would try them. Have a bottle of the Rinseless to use once my ONR is gone. Merry Christmas Brian to you and the family
Great review Brian, those DIY detail products look very good, can't wait to see you try the rest of them. Happy Christmas to you and all the FAB family 🎄🎄🎄🎄
I’m just getting into Rinseless washes have only done one . Question, do you normally wash and dry panel by panel ? Or can you wash the whole vehicle and then dry it with a drying aide ? What’s best practice ? Thanks
I have a mini split ductless unit Calle Ductless Aire I bought at Home Depot. It heats in the winter and ice cold A/C in the summer. Best $1500 I have ever spent.
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing I was thinking about getting a mini split system for my garage exactly. Thank you for letting me know that they definitely work and are worth it. Im currently doing drywall on one wall followed by painting everything, once I get that done heating and A/C is next!
@@spencerb3429 Your are welcome. I just saw in my comment I spelled it wrong. It’s Ductless Aire. It works amazingly well. The only time it has ever struggled was this last weekend when it was -8. Thermostat was set at 65 and it kept the garage around 57.
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing that’s pretty impressive. I was looking at a MrCool system, my garage is fairly large so I’d need something to be able to keep up with the space. Not saying I need it at like 70 all the time but around 55-60 is comfortable enough. I’ll check out Ductless and do some comparisons. Thanks for being so quick to respond and keep up the good work my man!
@@spencerb3429 You are welcome! The one I bought was for 1500sq/ft and my garage is 700 and it has been more the adequate. In the summer I keep it 69 and it’s like an ice box even on 100 degree days. I love it

Brian I ordered this today during their Labor Day Sale. Your reviews are always top notch. Are you using a standard twist loop drying towel?
Awesome you will love it. Yes just a twisted loop towel. Thank you
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing Appreciate it.
Merry Christmas! Great video, really good tutorial and results with the DIY Detail products. Is the Fab Sprayer up on your Website?
Merry Christmas. No it’s a sprayer I’m looking at selling I just put my sticker on it.
What is your favorite product from griots to use as a drying aid? And how does the diy ceramic gloss compare? Thanks.
Spray on Wax was the only drying aid I used from Griots. Ceramic Gloss is way better.
Great video brother! Looks like that stuff works great!! Looking forward to testing it!
Thanks man! I love it and you will too
Looks like a nice and well designed product line
Yes it is!
Loving all of your honest content! What sprayer are you using?
Thank you! It’s a brand I have been checking out that I might start carrying.
Still curious on where you got the sprayer 😁
How safe is the Blue Sponge compared to the Red or the Black one? I sounds like it s quite firm, squeaking. on the car body.
I’ve had zero issues with it. It’s definitely more on the firm side. You don’t have to use the sponge. A lot of times I just use 3-4 towels.
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing I purchased the same as it is a lot cheaper than the Big Red or Black sponges. I hope it would be fine.
Great video, have you tried the ultra black sponge, also could you do a video on the diy detail rinseless foaming in action.
I have not tried that sponge. It’s to cold here for me to get the pressure washer out to use it in a foam cannon.
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing i don’t know how much product you need, but i think you can get it to foam from a pump sprayer.
