      Ya man it’s from the fabrication process. Probably why it’s one of the cheaper ones. Check out this video where I smoothed it out. Good luck!

      Hey Joe, I'm trying to think of my next video. I have the bike rideable at this point but i have no side covers. I am going to try and custom make those so that'll be a good video to make. Stay tuned!

      Watch this video I made. I kept my rear shock too. Definitely like to keep my spine intact as well 😂

    Would this particular setup be safe enough to run a passenger?

    • @markferioli208
      @markferioli208  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Absolutely not. The fender is not big enough for a seat plus I did not put fender struts on. If anyone were to sit on the fender it would dive into the tire.

    Kind of curious but is it all thread that's going through there with knots on both sides or is it a bolt with nut on one side cuz if it's not on one side send a bolt through the inside of the fender so that it's not a nut on the inside of the fender with a bunch of screw and put the bolts on the outside so you can take it off easier

    • @markferioli208
      @markferioli208  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s a bolt. The head of the bolt is on the inside of the fender. This way is the best so you have the most room between the tire and bolt. You definitely don’t want that bolt rubbing against the tire.

      I honestly can't remember. I think I just got them on amazon. I will say they were cheap and came with no instructions so we'll see how long they last

    It says right on TJ Customs website that this kit requires struts or a sissy bar to support the rear end of the fender.

    • @markferioli208
      @markferioli208  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Right cause no matter how tight you make the bolt that attaches to the shock, the fender will still drop and hit the tire. However, those little blocks I made and custom mounted to the brackets won’t allow the fender to drop. And the fender is stiff enough that’s it’s not going to bounce around and hit the tire.
