      at 1:47 and I already connect to it, people specially living in capital region always ask oh, please speak your language, please (we have many official languages in India, along with hundreds of dialects besides Hindi that all people know), always they want to listen us speaking hindi in our language dialect and sometimes it really feels weird like what about no? 🤦🏻🤦🏻

    This is fascinating to me as an American who speaks no Korean. The "uh-uh-uh" refusal sounds exactly like one of the ways to say "I don't know" here, except that instead of shaking your head when you say it you lift your shoulders instead. But it's the same exact sound, with the 1 3 2 pattern in pitch as well. It's crazy how two things that sound the same mean different things in different languages.

      I'm from Sri lanka but my mother tongue is also tamil. 'Naan' also means me in korean. I was really surprised that some words where so similar hahah. But as you said they're probbly mere coincidents.

      There are some historical connection between Korea and India especially Tamils....there was active business between the ancient Tamil and Korea... during chola and pandiya kingdom period...and there is a story about a Indian princess who became the queen of Korea and she asked her desentant to call their parents like wise her children call her....and Koreans still practice it...the language structure is very different from Japanese and Chinese...but it is a lot more similar to Tamil...

    I really loved this video! Could you guys make a video about normal pronunciations? Like, there are many places where the learners like me have difficulties in. Example: pronouncing the "ㄹ" , it's sort of like a mix of "R" sound and "L" sound and easily gets mixed up.
    I know it's asking a lot, but I think you guys can do a good job at it and people like me actually start speaking it properly.
    LOVE YOU GUYS

    I’ve been studying korean for 3 years and for me Busan satoori sounds really cool but aggressive at the same time, in Reply 1997 they sounded like they were stressed/fighting 200% of the time lol

    I LOVE THIS VIDEO HAHA
    The outfit, the background
    Also, I've always wanted to understand the accents in Korea. THANK YOU!!!
    QUESTION: When you guys say dialect, is it about ACCENT only or the LANGUAGE changes? (words...) or would it be just some "slangs"? The language is still the same right? I mean, if I learn how to speak Korean I'd still be able to understand people from every part of the country, right??

    Wait, when Yoongi went "niga gara Hawaii" in cypher pt 2 was he referencing this dialogue or is it like a common saying?

    • @방미새-d5t

      Jin-sang Yeah he was referencing from that movie. That line is super famous but we don't say it in casual dialogue.

    • @kkj5120
      @kkj5120 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes and the reason why he used that line is because he was saying that to Bfree bc bfree is from Hawaii😂☠️

    So I've heard that if you don't live in Seoul, you're considered to be "from the country." Is this true? Great video, David! I can tell when Bangtan are talking in different accents, but not what they say, this was very helpful. I've definitely heard these phrases before, lol.
