As someone from Florida, I have plenty of Florida Man stories. One story is cops got a call about a break-in. Cops show up to the address and find a guy passed out in the doorway with drugs and a gun next to him. However, the cops got the house number wrong and went to the wrong house just to find the suspect of the original call at that house.

Something about Florida. I visited for two weeks in 2004. I'm a Colorado guy with a lot of those stereotypes so Florida was like another planet. It was also the year the cicadas were chirping. I didn't know then but they were a 17 year cycle thing. I couldn't handle the sound. Certain human behaviors were unique too. Like on the highway, going over the speed limit. Guys in fast cars would tailgate us like we were going too slow. WTF.

A long time ago I did a deep dive into this "Florida Man" thing, and the reality is that Florida is no "weirder" than any other state. I know "weird" is subjective, but the reality is that Florida is more transparent with crime than any other state.. If I recall correctly they have a "crime/criminal transparency" law where criminals and their crimes are required to be reported in the local media .. Basically crimes need to be listed in the local paper, which is commonly referred to as a "police blotter" - so there is total transparency in Florida...

I've been dealing with these sick freaks since I was a child. It's honestly disturbing how many men are interested in kids and have no qualms about following a child or worse. I think it's unfair to call these cases Florida unless it has something to do with stereotypical florida things, like the dude who put an alligator in the restaurant would be a good example of a Florida man video. Most of these are just run of the mill perverts/criminals you would find in every city.

Amen! I really appreciate it too! Not all prisoners are bad people, most are actually very good people that either ended up in a s**t situation or grew up in a s**t situation. They lead the only life they’ve ever known and I hate how people judge about that. Plus I’m also bothered about how convicts serve their time and yet can barely make a life on the “good path” because everyone still judges them. In the US at least, once you do your time, you paid your debt to society. They are supposed to be able to live out their life and yet there are so very few places that will even offer a job to them. So no wonder they end up back in prison, they have no way to make money for suitable living and so they have to go back to crime 😑🙁.

Can you imagine going to work and finding out the next item on your agenda is to catch and restrain a screaming naked man covered in blood. Wow. Some people have boring jobs, some people like myself have relatively unique/interesting/specialized jobs, and then the police are in their own very special category of potentially getting themselves into literally any possible situation no matter how bizarre or unlikely. We must appreciate and respect them, and do our best to be more understanding and less judgmental, considering how insanely difficult such an occupation must be where you have absolutely no idea what might happen the next time you go into work and constantly have to be prepared to handle ANYTHING. There are plenty of difficult, challenging jobs; but that is next level.

If I ever move to Florida the first thing I’m doing is getting a job as an LP camera officer at a Walmart. I’d have enough content in one week for a whole year to start a TH-cam channel.

Most criminals hate child abusers and hate when children are in danger from my understanding. To a degree, I am unsurprised that a bunch of criminals helped break into a car to save a child. It was nice to have such a wholesome story in the mix.

Florida man makes me proud..... to be from Missouri.
Im kidding.....I'm sure if any of us looked locally, we'd find a version of him everywhere in the world, especially in todays times.
I Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas or whatever you may celebrate, and I wish you safety and great times if you plan to celebrate New Years. Remember, it's amateur night, 20 years ago, I was that amateur, charged and judged with a DUI. I learned that drinking and driving impaired even though i caused no accidents and was doing ok until I was caught, cost me a small fortune, and brought hardship upon myself that I could have totally avoided had i not started the engine. I lost my license and my job, to return to the line of work i was in was not happening due to the blemished record and my having to drive being themajority of the work i was involved in doing. Having to find work where i could carpool or use public transportation also put me to working jobs that paid less and having to depend on others to get to work put me in predicaments that would never have been necessary had i just chosen to not drive. I no longer drink unless Mtn Dew or Dr Pepper count. That said, I know first hand what can happen and the cost it brings when one gets popped.
Set up a designated driver, hire an Uber or Taxi, party in place, you'll wake up right where you passed out with only a hangover at worst. Dont risk lives or your livelyhood in an effort to have a good time. Even if you are sober, you are at a higher risk of being involved in a drunk driver involved accident on the roads on new years eve night from midnight to 3AM, than any other time of the year in the USA. Also, you have more risk of being pulled over or caught in a DUI checkpoint than any other time of the year as well.
This goes to Wavy and all who might read this post, I wish you all a Happy New Year and better times in 2024. ✌️ Peace.

Nah, I'm good. Besides I drive so much better while I'm drunk then when I'm sober it's actually unreal. I've had friends comment on it saying I reminded them of Dominic Toretto.

    • @WeChallenge
      @WeChallenge 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

@@Temulon just remember it's amateur night and some will use this as their first attempt at driving while intoxicated, wont make it to their destinations. Some won't be as alert and steady at handling the wheel as othwrs who have managed to get to their destination in the past, who think they are good at driving under the influence, based on their also alcohol influenced passengers who told them they were. I too had your attitude at one point, and I was was good too, that is, until I wasn't.

Other states have their fair share of freaks that you don’t hear about. Information related to arrests is publicly available in Florida. That’s why you hear of so many outlandish cases from FL and not states with different policies…

Information related to crimes is available everywhere, and plenty of these were just taken from news stories...which exist everywhere. And we do hear about them all the time... In every state or any country. Some countries are slightly worse than others.
The problem is males, not Florida. But if you don't put florida in the title tons of men would have a meltdown and dislike the video because males are being analyzed for their insanely disproportionate rates of stupid/perverted behavior.

And I guarantee the guy who did that sht to Olaf is going to do something worse in the future, I just hope it's towards an adult who can defend themselves and not a child.
