nice one ash, ive just done mine i used the graham goode pipe ,awsome vid mate as usual, the mods are coming along nicely ash, its all coming together...get some more vids up mate pleaseeeeee
Oh really? No way! The first time I did it I tried going underneath but just seemed to much in the way IIRC. Tbh, this was just how I did it and I found it okay. Whatever works tho really mate 😀
Hi my boost hose just arrived this morning so yours was the first video that came up.. well after seeing you fiddle with it it did put me off a little but cracked on with it. Job done in an hour! Didn’t need to take inlet manifold off I just undid both clips headlight jacked it up on drivers side. I undid dipstick that bolts onto oil filter housing and pull my rs ecu holder out n to right n was able to slide it out n same again for boost hose in reverse.. just going to give her a run see what if any difference 😜😜
@@mastersmods yes mate it’s an AirTec stage 2 With scoops around sides n bottom to catch air. I had to spend an hour cleaning kitchen floor as I was in n out or the missus would have a meltdown haha 😂
@@mastersmods an honest feedback would be that it boosts earlier and quicker for me.. i had the standard pipe on with a small hose n bung before.. do seem more alert.. I fitted the 1 piece heater matrix hoses last week and were a bugger to get them to seal properly.. i had to nip them up everyday till ut stopped leaking. I have the turbo to cross over hose to fit yet but ive been putting it off becos the clip is right behind the hose out of sight and just know it will give me hassle lop
@@Focusstmk2.5 it's a mountune cooler, basically the same as a stage 2 airtec with the fins around it to direct the air flow at the cooler. Did you take your scuttle panel off to do it? I love my exhaust mate 👍🏼
@@mastersmods na mate I left all that on when I took the silicone pipe from the turbo off it was easy to take the drivers wheel off mate i found better access. Have you changed your recirculation valve yet 😭 there HORRIBLE man so bad lol
@@Focusstmk2.5 yeah mate I did a video on that too. Defo recommend taking scuttle off next time, easier than jacking the car up to take wheel off, in my opinion any way
Oh it was you I saw on FB groups with a metal pipe in your hose. Thought it was pretty sound TBF but you got some stick eh. I took baffle out for a bit then put the pro hose silicone one on yesterday just to be safe. I changed my cold boost hose when I changed intercooler so it was easier. is your Intercooler standard?
Yeah mate that was me 😂 I'm still waiting for my hose to arrive but the sender has been in hospital apparently 🤷🏼♂️ my intercooler is a mountune but it basically the same as an airtec stage 2
@@mastersmods Ah ok yeah I've got the Airtec stage 2 also. My hose took 2 weeks from Autospecialists. Corona and people taking baffle out caused a shortage lol
Hi did removing that baffle make any difference in turbo flutter?I'm thing of getting the new turbo pipe and crossover pipe as a whole thing with a induction kit do it all at once once my boost issues are sorted.going to a tuning specialist next week hope they can resolve the problem.great work though keep em coming
Still got that bloody boost issue hope this tuning company find the fault only builds boost to a 1/4 on the gauge unless I put pedal into the carpet then goes clean off the gauge but then I get cutting from the engine so ford say no codes come up they think actuator or a crap remap??? Im in no way a mechanical so have no idea
@@qaza007qaza arh man what a nightmare. Actuators aren't cheap either :( I would imagine a tuning company should be able to sort running issues such as boost problems so fingers crossed for ya mate
I can't say I've noticed that happen but having said that I haven't looked at the pipe while revving tbh. Is it a genuine pro hose? I know you can get the hard pipe version, maybe that would be best option?
@@mastersmods That is just from my experience anyway, the 2 long overflow pipes that come out of the coolant bottle I had to cut and sort of re route them. Shapes are all wrong.
Recently bought a focus st. Your video is will help me a lot!
Great news. Good luck with it
Cheers for this. Waiting to do mine when intercooler arrives so 2 birds with 1 stone.
Does make a difference tbf 👌🏼
Enjoying the longer videos ash. And editing is getting better everytime!
Thanks mate appreciate you noticing 😂👍🏻
Nice and detailed man, well done👍🏻 That cover over your heatsheild looks😎
Cheers mate, I had some spare metal from making the heatshields so I made that to stop water getting on the filter 👍🏻

Not heard of them mate, all okay with it? I've got a few more vids planned mate, one being the cross over pipe haha
I did mine from underneath the car it literally took 20 mins but a good video nonetheless I look forward to what’s coming next 👍🏻

Have you got an aftermarket intercooler or stock? Mines aftermarket so it's mounted differently and bigger
