    I see the post is 2 years old and the problem Is probably solved, but there is always sombebody In need of an answer or temporary solution.
    I have exactly the same problem. I'm waiting for new limiter to be shipped.
    In the mean time I temporarily solve the problem by resetting Ruida controller and instead of Absolute origin in Lightburn I use current position.

    Did u just replace sensors without setting something else on RUIDA like parameters or stuff like that? Just changing them?

      I resolved the issue by replacing the switch but it was the wire connector to the board that got pinched in shipping. They are very thin. You could probably get away with replacing just the wire and save the switch but they aren't expensive

    Hi there. Did you resolve this issue? We have the same problem on the x-axis. We’ve ordered replacement switches so when they arrive I’ll see if it helps

    • @dizzidecalz

      It *shouldnt* but it’s also not common for electrical components to be duds sometimes. We also had to replace a driver and motor that controls the laser head from going up and down (used for auto focus) - the manufacturer used a driver and dip switch setting that over drove the motor causing it to burn out and damage the controller. That, and the limit switch issue all happened within a week of each other. Unfortunately the quality control of these Chinese made lasers isn’t that good - and you almost have to accept that you will need to become your own technician. It was a 4 month long struggle to get the seller to accept responsibility and send us new parts. But I documented everything and they finally agreed.

    • @thomasjmountain7878
      @thomasjmountain7878  ปีที่แล้ว

      Replace the switch including the wires running to the switch to the board. Sometimes they get pinched in transit they are very thin. It's probably just the wires, the switch is probably fine

    I'm having the same problem as well. Did you solve the problem?

    • @thomasjmountain7878
      @thomasjmountain7878  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I had to order a new switch, amazon was faster than waiting for a warranty part from the company, and had to fully replace the switch. The wires are so thin they break in transit.

      I’m having the same issue, did the new switch resolve the problem? Do you have a link to the new limit switch that you purchased from Amazon?

    • @jamesstone6142
      @jamesstone6142 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@RuffKutmedia It turns out that the limit switch wires were installed in the wrong places for the Rudia controller wire interface. I found the identical Rudia hardware on Amazon which had a wire diagram in the product description. I compared my wire arrangement with the diagram on Amazon, and changed it accordingly. Once I did this the machine ran perfectly.
