I design drawings for pv system permitting. I am so impressed with your software! Great job!
As a pv solar permit designer, how would I create a document I can insert into AutoCAD to show the shade analysis and system images? Is there an option to download a dxf file as well?

Hi Penny, thanks so much! Yes, in the design area > advanced settings (top right icon) you can choose Download DXF (autoCAD). I believe I responded to your email on this too with a screenshot.
      Thanks,
      Christian

@@OpenSolarGlobal Also, will you be incorporating Lidar Mapping in the future?

Thank you Open Solar. Question: How do you add photos of the panels on the Solar component proposal section?

Thanks for the question Muhammad. Adding photos of the hardware on the proposal is a feature we have reserved for our partners (you can see them here support.opensolar.com/hc/en-us/categories/4407527101593-6-Partners-). These partners are how OpenSolar remains a free software for installers all over the world. Are there particular brands you would like to see displayed on your proposals? Please let us know at support@opensolar.com and we can try our best to make it happen.
      Thanks,
      Christian
