I love this and am so happy that it exists and is available for all! It's very much like the Excel spreadsheet proposal template I created back in 2007, using AutoCAD to place the accurately sized panels on google earth images. hehe This is wonderful!
Hey Aleksei, yes. Back in Control > Design & Hardware > Setbacks & Design Settings Draw out roof to apply setbacks in Design (using advanced settings > roof) Thanks for your question. As always, support@opensolar.com is the fastest way to get support, but we are happy to answer any questions you have as soon as we can!
Hi Paul, thanks for your feedback! Perhaps this resource on stringing recommendations will assist? support.opensolar.com/hc/en-us/articles/4412178110617-Inverter-Sizing-and-Stringing-recommendations Thanks, Christian
i agree and calculations are off and support will not help. Im getting a new error -Calculation error. design: 32 Panels: '>' not supported between instances of 'float' and 'NoneType' No were does it show how to fix it and no assistance bot.
Hi Mark, you can see the system production in the top left corner of the design tab under "summary". You can also view it in the proposal, where the solar panel details are. Thanks, Christian
This video tells you what the buttons are without any additional explanation. Its a bit pointless as most people are able to simply read what it says on the button. So this is the COG button where you can add COGS, but doesn’t tell me what a COG is 🤷🏼♂️
Are the panels at scale model

@@OpenSolarGlobal Thanks , but 1 thing is very confusing that is "Rack & slope " ? what's the difference?
The inverters I use are a pain in the butt to add and wire while doing a proposal. This is a great tool but not user friendly
