I still have no idea why they went with an awkward Alan Rickman/ cartoonish version of Snape for the voice of Dooku, especially considering how many people can seeming do at least an old Christopher Lee impression. It's also unfortunate that the most realistic or natural sounding voice work came from mostly Ian McDiarmid and Liam Neeson, but the story is more than good enough to overcome my nitpicking. Feloni and company are really doing a great job finding as many ways as possible to take decisions that Lucas probably made on a whim and giving them life and meaningful history. edit: And aside...i really like that random Blade Runner-esque music with Dooku taking off in the one scene. It really has a dreadful feel to it.
These little shorts worked well for creating my back story and connective tissue between the films for these characters who didn’t get a lot of screen time. Pre-episode 1 Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, Yoda. Even Windu. Would also like to see Kylo/Ben Solo, it not sure if they’d go into the future like that.
Just my small humble opinion but I think you should have watched them in the exact order. It maybe separate stories but they're not. They did it intentionally with the order. I'm not going to spoil it here but all I can say is look at the time of each episode occurred and the Ying and yang of dooku and Asoka

Dave is essential to Star Wars without him & his understanding of the universe I'd hate to see what we'd have without his knowledge & love n respect for the franchise. This series is truly remarkable.
I think we saw that with the sequels (if you can call them that). If Dave was in charge of the sequels instead of Abrams or Kennedy, the sequels would at the bare minimum not be hated as much. Rey would of gotten proper character development that would of avoided the Mary Sue problem, Finn would of remained an essential protagonist and Kylo Ren would of been made into a proper dark side user. And of course, no 'somehow Palpatine is alive' bs. Dave would of created a new Sith Lord or at least made Snoke into something other than just a failed clone.
It was a blast finally being able to record with Shane and Zakk again! And what better show to come back to!

That Qui-Gon's death was what pushed Dooku over the edge to the dark side...
I already likes dooku with all we saw in clone wars but now I like his character even more

We didn’t talk about it enough, but the music in these shorts was TOP NOTCH. Especially the scene you mentioned!
Dooku never fully succumbs to the dark side hence the reason for him never having sith eyes. Really need more dooku after this
