In Turrican anthology you forgot to mention that in display settings you can change the video to perfect 2x and enable real-time map. It's a very cool feature that makes the game very modern.

I've watched a handful of Turrican retrospectives/reviews in the past couple days, and I wish this video was more popular. Love the energy and the script polish. Easily the best of the whole bunch. I love that you narrativize the whole series - very compelling. Cheers!
They have since fixed Super Turrican 1’s “unlock” issue so now you can use everything once you beat the game

My feelings towards this collection are more or less like yours. It's awesome that they've finally compiled all these games for modern hardware, but the way ININ/SLG have handled this whole ordeal is not what I would call ideal. I'm still on the fence about it, might buy it on discount or if it drops on Steam.
Aside from that, great review. Would love to hear your opinion about Gunlord X, which is a game HEAVILY inspired by Turrican.
Also, very hyped for the Re-Pac video :D
The whole journey waiting on the Anthology has been... Interesting. Everyone I'd explain it to was understandably confused about the split up, and most people outside of core Turrican fans don't even know that the Anthology exists.
That being said it was great when mine finally arrived a few weeks back (yes I'm one of the lucky ones). The enhancements and the Map feature are game changers. And the Blu-ray goes into depth about how rough it got working with Rainbow Arts.
As a side note, my favourite game of the lot is still ST1 as it's very fun to pick up and play. The people I showed the collection to gravitated towards the more linear games like MT and ST2.

I noticed your favorites playlist has some unavailable videos and I strongly recommend that you remove every deleted video just in case (click the icon that looks like 3 dots and you'll see the option to see the unavailable videos). Make sure you also do this for your liked videos and watch later playlist.

Awesome. Pity about the rights issues on the 8-bit versions though. Still, nice to see the Turrican series finally getting the love. And I am totally stealing "Turristraviganza".
I only played Turrican on GameBoy… looks like I did it wrong. Turrican 2 looks legit!
