Abusers don't victimize everyone they meet: they choose certain types of people. They choose highly moral compassionate and loving people to take down. The abuser knows he can turn the story around on them.

I’m a 64 year old psychologist & I have only admitted to myself that I was groomed & sexually assaulted when I was 16. I conceived his son & I was coerced into marrying him when I was 18; I left my ex when I was 19.

I finally reported my father’s sexual abuse of me to my mother (who was well aware of the physical & emotional abuse and neglect on his part) when I was fourteen. I did not speak to my father again until I was an adult. His first words to me
I am sorry. What happened to you as a child was not your fault. If I could go back in time and change it I would. I do not expect you to forgive me.
I already had, especially knowing his mother. But him taking responsibility as well as keeping himself away from children under his control, helped me heal.

You're doing an amazing job Carah. Your strength, your poise, you clearly articulate yourself in defense. Especially having heard your story you shared. You've found ur voice and know how to use it. It speaks volumes when you don't make it about you & your experiences.
There's a saying it's either reconciliation or a lesson. And damn You've healed enuff to see thru the bullshit to explain what victims struggle to put words to.
You kinda remind me of a jack in a box, in a good way cos ur full of surprises. Thankyou for being you and doing what ya do🦄🐞

Great video! It’s so painful to hear people say “if it happened why wasn’t it reported right away”. People can mess with your mind, they can flip it and put you at fault. They typically work hard to gain your trust to the point that it makes no sense they would abuse you, so you believe it must be something else. So many women are raised to be people pleasers and not “stir the pot”. I pray that the judges understand SA victims and can see the truth. Tim deserves to have everything taken from him!!

Tim Ballard is so obviously a perpetrator of abuse. Unfortunately, he has done a darned good job of manipulating the women & his supporters. One of the most important things that can come from this situation is that young women & girls can become aware of what ‘grooming’ & manipulation actually looks like, empowering them from ever being abused in this manner.
I sure hope the courts find this vile human being accountable for his disgusting behavior.

I was sexually assaulted when I went in the USAF at 17. I don’t know who did it because they threw a towel around my face in the restroom. I do know it was two airmen. I did report it and the training instructor told me to toughen up because they were just testing me.
It never goes away. I’m 63 now and still suffer from it.

Another layer to this important line of thought and questioning is how survivors of SA are condemned when the perpetrators are publicly condemned the victims are once again shamed by this. As the survivors and the perpetrators are entwined due to the grooming of the perp, shame of being a victim and disgust of those that learn of this causes more difficulties for those trying to move beyond the damage caused by the abusers.

Excellent video. I do not understand why Tim Ballard would actually hire women from his Temple group? or church class?, oh yeah the ones he's attracted to and he wants a sexual experience with. He's so smooth, with the leaders approval .... Remind you of someone? What exactly is charismatic? Tim Ballard and JS. Both are guilty of gaslighting and grooming women to be their love match. So many woman and So much like JS. . So maybe the Mormon church leaders today would ex communicate Joseph Smith? Think? My last thought is Tim's wife? Wow she is drinking the punch and it's really loaded with Kool-Aid. After his dna is found on his choice of gal who lacks any experience or educated about law enforcement or human trafficking, yeah, that gal. Hello!!!!! That one.... Well duh! Crazy s*** cannot make this crap up. But that's exact case scenario very similar to what happened with Joseph Smith. Just think about this.

Ballard is a predator. When faced with the women’s allegations, rather than a rationale explanation and justification (which there isn’t any) he blames them for coming onto him. If there was a justification for what he did, it should be his legal defense.
