The popular brother/sister duo of the 70’s and early 80’s gave us some of the most unforgettable ballads and melodic pop songs of all time
Debbie Taylor and her 7 piece band bring the most authentic versions of the Carpenters music to the stage. No doubt, you will be singing along as they perform hits like “Close To You”, “We’ve Only Just Begun”, “Rainy Days And Mondays”, “Please Mr. Postman” and “Yesterday Once More” to name a few. Debbie captures the warm tones and contralto range that made Karen’s voice so unique. Sit back and enjoy as Debbie and her band take you on a nostalgic journey through the Carpenters greatest hits while sharing some of the backstories behind the music.

We seen the show last night at the state theatre in Easton PA. It. Was Amazing. I would love to see them again. My fiance and me felt like we were seeing the carpenters. Please come back to Pa again. Thank you for a forever remembered night.
This is far and away the most faithful rendition of the magic of the Carpenters. The harmonies and instrumentation are spot on, and Debbie Taylor's voice perfectly captures the richness of Karen's incomparable contralto. Gives me chill bumps every time I listen to it.
I have played these songs in bands before and besides Debbie's incredible vocals the band is capturing all the nuances of the music. Richard Carpenter was no slouch and he would always throw in little things here and there and this pianist left no stone unturned!
I saw them at the Tarrytown Music Hall, she is amazing!
I saw The Carpenters in 1973. This band sounds remarkably like them. Can't wait to see them!
I saw Debbie and her group recently. If you close your eyes at this Tribute Concert you will be transported back in time to the original Carpenters amazing concerts!!! Folks, make every effort to go see this absolutely amazing Tribute concert!!! And after two hours of listening to Debbie and her group, she remained for a great after-concert greet and photo opportunity with fans!!! I'll never forget this amazing concert near my MD home town!!!!!

Hi Debbie I met you last night at the Carpenters tribute band event and Millville New Jersey. I'm Winston college professor from Florida state that was beyond grateful to meet you and get your autograph and talk with you and point out my dad. Just wanted to let you know how much I truly enjoyed your music my dad my listen to the CD on the way home and we both just thought you were fantastic and if you ever come around my neck of the woods in Panama City I would be delighted to see you. I just want you to know I'll be following you unfriend you on Facebook and just want to keep up with how wonderful you and the band are doing. Thank you for last night you have no idea what a wonderful gift that was for us as a family and it only would have been better if my mom had been there. We lost my mother over 4 years ago and she was a big Carpenters fan as well. So it was extremely emotional in the special evening for us and you were just as nice as you could be and you are an amazing talented lady with a wonderful Ensemble beside you. Thank you again for a marvelous night and I wish the best for your band and hope you guys continue to pick keep the Carpenters music alive!

Been listening to the original Karen Carpenter versus several of the other tribute bands along with "Top of The World". Let me tell you that in my opinion this woman is as close as you can get to the real thing. I will be attending one of your concerts in 2021 and thank you for being there.

@@DebbieTaylorBand They were just starting out when I was a freshman in High School, been a fan since. I had completely forgotten about Karen until I heard her Christmas song " Merry Christmas Darling " last week, it saddened me so I went to see if any good tribute bands were around. I played her singing then listened to you with my eyes closed and would say you are about 98% right on, and I was looking for differences. So if this nonsense lockdown is over in PA. I will stop by to say hello after the show. I appreciate your response.
I’ve never heard of this band until today. I received an email notification that they will be in FL near me in September. Normally I would’ve ignored it, because Karen’s voice is untouchable. I’m so glad I decided to check if there were any videos…Debbie, Karen would have been proud! I’m looking forward to seeing you at the Thrasher-Horne Center in a few months and thank you for keeping the Carpenters music alive!

My wife and I saw this band several months ago - and we have tickets for another show 8 months from now. This band, from top to bottom, is incredible. If you enjoy The Carpenters' music, you should definitely check them out. Amazing!

Just came from a wonderful performance by Debbie Taylor and her band at the Stadium Theater in Woonsocket, RI. Debbie is a first-class vocalist with great stage presence. She captures the essence and spirit of Karen Carpenter without being a slavish imitator. The band is a tight, versatile ensemble and to her credit Debbie is willing to step aside at times and let them shine. All of the songs were excellent but their versions of three Leon Russell compositions - Superstar, A Song For You, and This Masquerade - were particularly noteworthy. The audience at this show was very enthusiastic and Debbie and the band really responded to that. Definitely worth the price of a ticket if they play somewhere near you.

I have been a Carpenters fan for nearly 50 years and run a Karen Carpenter Fan Club in the UK . Her music is still much loved and rightly so . She is in my opinion the greatest female singer that ever lived .
I have seen many tribute acts live and on You Tube & whilst it must b almost impossible 2 recreate such a talented & unique voice ( that perfect lower register that she had ) you do it better than most . Keep doing what you do and thanks for keeping her music alive .

My honest opinion….where Karen is a 10 (we all know that) this is 8 1/2 touching on 9…very well done. I’m on a Carpenter journey myself being friends with a few that played in the band or toured with them. Great stuff!

EVERYONE who remembers the Carpenters and listens to my Tribute CD cannot believe that it is not an original; Carpenters album!!!!!
Close....closer than many other Carpenters tribute bands, but no-one has Karen's real "depth" on the low notes. She's a tough one to copy.
I was like age 5 to 10 when The Carpenters were most popular...still the only artists that I can lip sync almost every lyric of every song!..but I didn't really get 'into them' until about 10 years later. Early college in the 80s...so NOT cool! But Karen's voice stands the test of time!

Nice voice, similar qualities. She’s obviously studied KC inflections and sounds great. Unfortunately no stage presence. Uninspired and boring. KC had little natural stage presence and she often seemed unnatural and forced, but it was the perfection of the voice that held the attention.

I do wish you had the opportunity to see our show live as it's filled with stories about the songs and quite a bit of audience interaction.
