I love how okay he was with not knowing things, when he talked about that it was awesome. We always feel like we need to know and so many of us myself are afraid of saying “I don’t know”
Loved the interviewer's casual vibe
We are witnessing a brilliant mind ..but because he is the leader of "a silly boy band"he is underrated.I think that Matthew's ideas are so full of reason and creativity.
He's pure art,he has a gorgeous personality, and his honesty about what he's been through is just overwhelming
I never realised how slowly Matty talks until I played this at 2X the speed
I think it's only this interview, seems tired
Thanks you saved me 20 minute. Lol
This interview was beautiful. Glad the interviewer was so respectful and kind.
I've loved watching his interviews for years. He has such a lovely mind and is such an open book. I can only hope to interview him some day
I don’t even know how to explain how I felt when I watched this whole video....but this is definitely one of my favorite interviews ever. Well done!
he’s so intelligent and fascinating to just sit and watch him talk
Why is this interview so emotional?
It's making me cry.
"Rather than love, than money, than fame, give me truth" ~Henry David Thoreau
Was reminded of this quote by Matty saying "More than happiness give me purpose"
get this man a podcast
i need it in my life
When Matty talks world stops for me
his mind, he’s seriously an intelligent artistic genius. he’s just so rich in knowledge and full of all these artistic abilities. making him (in my opinion) one of the best artists during this period of time. 💓💓💓
If only the world was filled with more folks like him..
What are we doing?
His charisma is magical. He’s interestingly intelligent. I simply ❤️ this guy.
This video is only 40 minutes long because of how slow Mattys talking
Literally
I sped it up to 1.5 because I couldnt understand him talking that slow haha
every time I watch an interview with Matty I feel like my brain is stimulated and I gain more perspective in terms of life. It's rewarding lol
Exactly! He questions a lot of things about life, being a human and when I listen to him, it makes me think of myself and my life in a whole another way and it really is a gift in some way, to be “pushed” to think about my existence. I think his lyrics also do that. Sincerity that’s all. Glad he speaks his mind I think it’s one of the greatest thing to listeners that artist like him has such a big platform to express himself.
Why cant matty let me breathe for once
So articulate and smart and talented. I love this man so much.
Terrific interview. You can easily see there is something different and odd about him that allows him to channel this creativity that most of us can appreciate but are incapable of producing ourselves.
“Happiness is not a destination” purpose>happiness
Dont know how i found this video or who this guy is but im glad i found it.
I really love the way he's talking and every words he said sounds very meaningful. What an artistic mind. 15:35 is my favourite part, all he said was true.
