Work with your piece on a flat surface rather than in your hand all the time, it’ll be less awkward to build and the process will film better.

I have a Consolized GBA and a DMG with an SP inside I use in the Konami Hyper Boy but I still want this. Very cheap. I love those guys. They get me.
Hah, well I didn't exactly need another gameboy either, but they were on sale... It's such a cool product and I like the screen a lot

guys dont do it in the order he did at parts. get the screen on earlier, get the battery on before screwing in the case. otherwise itll be awkward. Also, when putting the screen in, dont just push the ribbon cable in without lifting the door (which this guy didn't mention). Watch Lon's video instead, he did it better.
Did the start and select buttons come with? I was going to order but couldn't tell if they were included with the Funnyplaying buttons. Thanks for the video, looking forward to doing this with my kids.
Yeah, I was a bit confused when I ordered. The start and select come with the silicone pads. They don't get a plastic cap, they're just rubber. That would have been a good point to mention in the video, oh well!
I'm hoping to get my kids playing some pokemon when they're older. I even bought a reproduction pokemon red to go with my original blue and a new link cable.

I just tried plugging my fpgbc into a Chromebook and it opened as an external drive. I didn't try actually changing the firmware but I'd expect it to work. Hopefully!

You might be able to get the EZ Flash Junior working if you update the cart to the 1.5 beta firmware

can you give me a tip? i tried 100 times to get the screen connected but the "thingy" doest go in. its so frustrating
+ i got wrong A and B! my not fitting in the holes...
These connectors are so frustrating. Is it going in at all? Is the little black tab on the connector lifted up when you try to put it in?
Oh no! What A and B buttons did you get?
They sent me wrong buttons as well just don't fit had to dremel one of the stalks off for them to fit.
@@DerrenKing thanks for this reply, can you play it fine? Or is the stuff you cutted out a problem
@JomaroTV works fine if you don't have a dremel use nail clippers to just snip it off make sure you snip the right one as two will line up and one does not.
Did the timing improve on the new firmware
I don't know, the release notes for the newer version don't mention anything though.
It seems good enough to me but I can't even tell where the default position is on the speed setting is supposed to be so maybe I'm not the best judge 🤡

Yeah that would be nice. Maybe there'll someday be a community-developed firmware that's open source, that would be cool
After 2 motherboards, 2 screens and 3 ribbon connectors the screen never turns on no matter what you did... one of my friends got the same product and works flawlessly but no luck in my case, don't know what to do now...

Does the system turn on at all? Is there audio?
If your friend is nearby and willing to take a risk you might try using their working system to diagnose yours. You could try their screen with your motherboard and your screen with theirs. Maybe have them do the assembly though, in case you're cursed
The risk is that something is fried and it fries their components

I heard everdrive works. Does the transfer cable port work for pokemon?
Another user says the Everdrive gb x7 is 100% working and I hear in general that everdrives work. I don't have one to test though.
I've done some battles over the link cable but not any trades. I don't see why one would work but not the other. It was between the FPGBC and a "GB Boy Colour" but I also expect it would work fine with an original GameBoy.
Use the Everdrive X7 with mine without any issues
