Whenever I play as Engineer on a Server, I commonly tend to find atleast one f2p engi building in a random area of the map. I sometimes like to go up to the engi and gift him a jag to speed up his construction rate on his buildings :)
the only time i was gifted something it was the ham and it was for a meme where there was 3 or 4 of us hitting people with the ham for no reason as demoman :P
When I was still new to tf2, a guy with more than 2000 hours taught me how to play spy. I added him and to this very day he is still helping me learn spy tricks.
I know its been a year since you posted this comment, but would you mind giving a follow up to this story and tell us how it went? This sounds like such a wholesome story with you meeting a genuinely nice guy as a friend!
Thank you! As someone who's just starting out with TF2, I was always afraid of joining actual people, because i was afraid of getting flak for being F2P. This gives me a little bit more confidence though.
Don't be afraid of joining matches. Do your thing, learn how to play, improve. If someone insults you instead of saying what you're doing wrong and give advice, then they are in the wrong.
Here's my story: I started playing in 2013. I quit because I had other stuff to do and I forgot about the game, until I came back in 2015. I earned lots of money trough these 2 years, enough to buy a plenty of items and get rid of being a F2P. I still remember the times being, well, laughed at and being judged as a player that didn't spend a single cent on the game. Now, I have a fantastic Medic loadout and I always play medic. So when I go to games, I promised to myself something: I will ALWAYS support the F2Ps and make them have fun from the game. I heal everyone from the team, but I always support and Uber them a lot. So, just remember, F2P or P2P, You are still an awesome player. The only difference between us is the practice. ;)
Well I Got Scammed i lost my Entire BackPack cus my friend owned me some games i wasnt able to Buy them myself cus i am 10 years old the games was Half life 2 ep 1 and half life 2 ep 2 and Counter Strike Source and now i only have achivement and Donated items i dont have many hats only like 2 becasue my friends was so kind :) but please donate to EngiTurtle White A Profile pic of a Parrot A Blu parrot
As a medic main from day one, people have been super patient with me which I’m super great full for. Like when I’m really tired and don’t play as well as usual, a guy was really understanding and helped me. Another time when I launched a crappy Uber this guy got on voice chat and said that it’s ok and that it happens to everybody once in a while. Will never forget the people that were patient with me 👍
Honestly, we P2P shouldnt bully the F2P. We both love Team Fortress 2, and thats what matters. Cosmetics would make you look cool, but it wouldnt make you look cool in the inside.
This video sums up what I think about Free-to-Plays: they're just inexperienced, and with time, they will become great players. They just need to be given the chance.
I remember the first day I started playing tf2 a random guy found out I was new and gifted me a face full of festive for my engineer, I'll never forget about that guy. *sigh* I love tf2.
No one helped except one time I'll never forget their name would have friended him but his list was full of friends already I'm now better thanks to him and a few of my friends and if your still reading this and didn't go to a different comment then if your not good at this game don't worry I'll help ya my name is iguanaboy and I have some special little sniper thing at the end of the name and my pic is of a scout chasing a pyro
das fehler Really? I swear one time I was being vote kicked after I dominated someone. Maybe it was just a coincidence then, because the guy was raging in chat.
Brilliant point on F2P's... they aren't all bad, some have potential, they just need a helping hand (Note: not all of them, some are naturally talented) And besides it isn't always their skill, TF2 isn't exactly the most smoothest running game on lower tier graphics cards, so they might just be lagging out. gonna like and subscribe... brilliant video, keep it up ;)
Exactly. I started playing TF2 a while ago, then I got the money to buy some keys and TOD tickets. Now I'm premium, and I get more headshots and backstabs then ever before. I mean, yes, a few months ago, I really did suck at this game. I'm not the best still, but I still have SOME skill. My story is, if you get your first REAL hat, never trade it. I made the mistake of doing that, and I became a F2P-P2P. At least now, I have a mercs-muffler and Brown bomber. I will never sell those, ever.
If you ever saw me,you couldn't tell if I was an f2p because i learned how to blend in with premiums i already have a haunted silver bullet and im trying to get something of higher value
I wish more people treat newb F2P's like this. There's a difference between being new and being bad. If your track record involves more than a year and has a decent amount of items, and you still are shouted at for being bad, it's your fault. However, if you're new, you just need practice to get to the point of glory, and helpfully, you'll have help on the way.
Slartybartfart Stafford I can help you, if it's not too late. I can give you the voice commands basics, then teach you how to properly perform the old spy-crab, overly used horny snipah or the legendary pootis spencer.
got 2 things to say 1: This video is a timeless piece of art. 2 of my favorite games in tf2 where one in which i was teached the basics and extra by a hard-boiled soldier who's name i forgot. and another in which i spent the whole match teaching a demo the ins and outs of what i could teach him about the class. i treasure those memories in my heart, in a nice bottle in a shelf right next to the good ending in bioshock 2 and the BoS (Like, all of the brotherhood.) 2: This video, among other things, inspired me to become a better player and to be understanding to other players, regardless of skill. it even helped me to make the step up to premium, by buying my first hat ever. the Texas Ten Gallon. I appreciate the maker of this video, and every player i have ever played with and against. Remember gamers. you're no one until somebody loves you, and that someone is me. i love you gamers
Random Person By that he means the experience of be new to te game, not knowing much how it work but no matter the outcome, you have fun and you gain experience. as a game you always learn more but when you are just new, the whole thing is just mindblowing. Im still new and still learning about how amaizing and sometimes rough TF2 can be.
Random Person Wow, you're pleasant. It's like Masuo said. He's referring to the feeling of being new to something, the feeling of diving into a new experience and slowly growing better at it. Yeesh.
Bloody hell! Over 20,000 views and nearly 400 subscribers! You guys are absolutely brilliant! Thank you so much. I've come back two months later, and bloody hell am I shocked! I have come a long way from this video animation wise but I am still proud of what people think of this. Thank you al,l you beautiful sods you!!
Lukas1701 no, but the Engi, Sniper (me) and the blu spy will return with a troldier for a massive project. All based on a team... well, I can't give to much away now can I. But it will take a while as I am in collage taking 4 (technically 5) subjects and I need to concentrate on those as well but I'll keep you lot up to date on what's happening with the film and give sneak peaks of it as a work in progress
In my past when I got Premium from a nice guy, I ended up being jerks to Free To Plays. I later stopped doing that, and decided I wanted to help new players learn how to play the game.
I love it when animators give sentries emotions and stuff. Like when the sentries don't just spin around aimlessly but they turn and look at stuff. That's the best lmao
"But having hats means more time in game and more skill..." Oh shutup! You're skill doesn't matter with that behavior and attitude towards players. "But...but all f2p's are annoying and loud squeakers..." Some* Just because the few does something does not define the many. I've rarely seen F2P's screaming to the top of their lungs or asking annoying questions. The only thing I've seen in majority of them is making it to the top boards. "But they are new to the game and they have no skill..." So? Vote kicking and insults will not help at all. Leave them be and let them learn on their own.
+Daktur Pepper Dunno how it was 3 months ago, but nowadays, when I enter a Valve pub, the F2P are EXCLUSIVELY Russian/Ukrainian squeakers that refuse to shut up... and find 3 other conversation partners of the same origin. I usually just mute them though. In fact, whenever people want to votekick someone for the mic spam, I rush in on a holy crusade to remind everyone that there is a fucking mute button built into the game, and it only takes two to three clicks and about 30 seconds to use it and block whoever's annoying you.
Unfortunately I admittingly am a F2P player, but this is pretty heartwarming when it comes to those players who understand the concepts of how each class works. Although I struggle with engineer and spy, I still try to understand how to use them in a way they are meant to be played.
Epidemic Pain Interesting...This response didn't notify me. Anyways, I bought an Ap-Sap and a Ninja Cowl for my Spy. It's fun hearing Wheatley's lines. And to make my Spy a Ninspyja. Wish I was still F2P, though. BTW the only F2P players I would make fun at are the 100% COD people (who thinks EVERY FPS works like in COD), and raging children (and adults, ever heard of Jenna gets mad?).
Yeah, i made a thing with my friend where i conga with my friend, maybe get my teammates to join. And see who would be friendly and who would KOS. So the scouts, soldiers, demomen of the enemy team joined our conga and were P2P. We were having a peaceful funny moment but stock/F2P scouts and pyros came in and killed all of us. Sometimes when we saw them coming we would stop and kill them.
I dont judge F2P players unless they kill me as a sandvich heavy or box spy (friendliest enemys ever) while pay to play players ignore me and recognize me as a friendly. I hate giving a sandvich just as a pyro slices me with a fire axe :(
Around the time I was going from f2p to p2p I was always playing on a combat surf server and there was a experienced looking p2p(name Miz) usually on the opposite team, he did the following total dick moves: Kill friendlies Try to spawn-camp Repeatedly kill the same friendly player over and over again Kill sandvich hoovys Kill box spys Kill spycrabs Destroy partys. I still go on that server just to have a war with him.
+Daniel C i will seek out and kill any "hoovies" or any other friendly on a pub. if you want to be friendly, go on a fucking trade server, or one for friendlies.
One of my (former) friends is F2P, and I'm sure he's kicking arse at Sniper. I already knew this message ever since F2P came; there can ALWAYS be a new player that's already good at the game.
2:26, far right corner 2:39 bottom left corner 3:20 bottom left corner I don't know if I'm just hallucinating or something, but I see a Blu Scout there.
I remember when I was F2P, not too long ago, actually. I've gotten in 300 hours in since. I practiced with the bots for hours. Then, my favorite class was Soldier, mostly because he was my easiest class. Eventually I did end up getting on a server. It was a control point server. I played as Soldier. It was really fun. Everyone didn't even complain that I was F2P. Medics healed. Heavy's helped me fight. Snipers and Engies prevented spies from backstabbing. It was all great. My team won every round for the time I was on. I never gotten a gift for being F2P, but this game is currently my favorite of all my games. Engineer is my favorite class right now. I also like to play as Scout, Medic, Spy, Soldier, and Pyro. I still play the other classes, though. Anyway, I'm doing great now. I have all the weapons for Engineer, except for the Widow maker, and I have a few hats too. I'm P2P now. Thank you Valve for developing such an amazing community. Seriously, I've had so much fun in this. MvM is one of my favorite game modes. This video basically demonstrates how people treated me, except for the fact that they didn't even know I was F2P.
Nenad Mitrovic Or, you didn't understand the context and insulted me for no reason. Which is what you did. I was telling him that he deserves his premium account. That is what I meant. But hey, I forgot this is the internet, where people insult you for no fucking reason.
I have played 500 hours in tf2 also f2p,I have decent skill, sniper is my best class and i usually play 2fort and cp maps and many p2p players say hacks when I get a close range headshot.i wear the gibus because that is the most rage introducing hat in the game when you get killed by a person wearing it.I gotten 2 gifts a holiday punch and a Pompson9000 or the pompson6000 how ever it's called. So that's my story in tf2 just sharing with people
Ya know, I was once in a 2fort server where there were these 2 guys on my team and one of them pretended to be the other guy's 9 year old nephew who was new to the game (he later told us that he was 27 and has over 800 hours and that he was just using an alt) and the other was saying that he was just teaching him the ropes and to please go easy on him. I'm guessing that the 2 guys were originally just going to do the usual "pubstoming as a newbie" thing just for laughs, but one of the players on my team asked them if they wanted him to help teach the "nephew" the basics of the game. The guy spent the next 45 mins just explaining the basic mechanics of the game to that guy through vc and then showed him examples. Everyone on the other team cooperated and they didn't touch the 2 of them, at one point they even let the nephew cap while they only presented very weak resistance (you could see that they were faking trying to stop him so that he would feel like he managed to escape despite the enemy teams efforts). the entire server played along just so this guy could teach the basics to a 9 year old playing tf2 for the first time with his uncle, there were always players from the enemy team willing to be target practice so the new guy could get better at aiming, and whenever they needed more than 2 people for an example i always tried to be there to help (i showed the guy the basics of pyrosharking). eventually the nephew admitted that he wasn't actually a new player, but they still thanked that guy immensely, they said that it warmed their hearts to see that there were such nice people in the community and i remember the message that came after that to the letter: "bro you're a fucking angel, don't ever stop doing what you do." to this day, that's the best experience i've ever had on a pub.
+J Garcia I've only met one other person like that, I was doing pretty well as a MvM pyro but this was when I was F2P, and had no cosmetics but the Gibus. I knew that everybody hated the Gibus, so I just went hatless. This one guy, he added me and said that he felt bad for me not having any hats. He gave me my first ever hat for the pyro. I still use it today, even though I've found another pyro hat. Then I returned the favor with somebody else, there was a really good medic that I came across that didn't have any hats, I gave him one of mine. He seemed pretty happy about it
+J Garcia Lol I gave this kid 5 keys and 10 hats when his birthday came around. (he had no money and was a f2p) I still play with him every now and then and his skill level has improved greatly from then.
I love helping new players. I have a friend that has been playing non stop and he started last week. Everyone is making fun of him being a f2p but he always kicks their ass. I like your animation. It shows the best in people.
I did. I met a f2p once. It was only his 1st or 2nd actual match (he had experience in bot matches.) So, I added him. He wanted to learn how to play Scout (My area of expertise.) So I took him as sort of an apprentice. I went into private matches with him, and I also MGEd him so he can practice his aim. Then we went to MvM so he could learn how to handle high-pressure situations. After awhile, he showed me he had picked up all the tips I had taught him. So I gave him his "Black Belt". A free upgrade to premium, and my favorite all-class hat. I never met anyone so grateful in my life. After a while, however, we went our separate ways, but I will never forget my time teaching him.
SuperShasta64 Exactly. Most people rip on F2P's. Truth is. Without new players. The game just gets stagnant and dies. Then we get people like you that give em a pat on the butt and a few lessons. Thanks for what you do for the community man.
Not all F2P’s are bad! I’m a F2P myself and I’ve had a blast making friends on TF2 and with others willing to help me out it has been an absolute blast! And this SFM just proves that not all high tier players are gonna be jerks! Because I have some friends with over 100 hours on the game and they’ve helped me with so much in the game itself, this SFM basically speaks for itself!
i agree for example lets say some one got a unusual team captain with flames, buds a kringle collection it doesnt mean that person is the best "player" in the game
This show's that there are still great players in the battlefield, f2p, or p2p, it also show's that some people have great hearts. For example, that engi just installed the game, and he got his first hat. Thank you for this.
At 4:16-4:17, CardTrickMedia: “Hey guys, Is it me or has Spy done a rather awkward position on top of demo?” BLU TEAM: *(Looks at RED Spy and Demo)* LMFAO! 😆🤣😂😹
Oh man I've done this before and felt so good to help a fellow beginner he was using engineer and I taught him some sentry spots and tips. I offered him some weapons and gave him a hong kong cone. He was overjoyed to have those items and up until now he is still playin the game with me. Thats why TF2 is a timeless masterpiece!
Bad F2P's: Ones who come from CoD, Battlefield, Halo, etc. Good F2P's: Ones who are recently coming into FPS gaming and choose TF2 cause it actually is like a FPS RPG.
I also might rephrase that, the only game where Bad F2Ps come from which has a horrible fucking cunt fandom is CoD, the others might rage considering how different the games are and that's understandable, maaaybe as long as they are mature teens or young adults.
I know that you put a lot of effort into this video, but I was a little disappointed when the radio was kicked and did not play any sort of music. that would have made there be less of a drop in action and made the scene feel more vibrant.
these days makes less sense to think f2p are bad since differently than the start of the game being f2p now there are tons of guides and advice's in the internet that can help even the less experienced be quite good. very nice video mate.
Yeah.... people doubted me too. But that was back when I had SOME skill at TF2. Haven't played in a while, which means said skill is probably gone, but I shall return.
I don't think so, I've put gams down for entire decades and picked them back up to find that my ability has actually matured over time (starfox 64 being a prime example, used to have a hard time on true venom as a kid, now I can beat it on master mode with relative ease)
0:45 Ok... what kind of engineer hasn't done this the first time he built something? It's cute that hes so proud of himself for putting up a Dispenser! I still get really sad when my buildings get destroyed. Granted, I'm rarely an Engineer so I haven't gotten very used to it.
Yeah i know that pro F2P players exist, but it is so hard to find one! I always try to help them, i play as medic, healing them. Protecting them from backstabs, playing as pyro... But no! They have to go to the enemy base when i don't have uber! I say that i don't have Uber, and they don't know what Uber is in the first place! And we die.(Not big surprise!)
+Tank Dempsey 248 is aint a lot bro. Under 1000hr on tf2 is still called noob. Your "good" when you go over 2000hrs. Doesn't matter if you dominate someone, you gotta go to mge servers to really test out your skills. There are things called game sense and experience on comp matches, it is inpossible but to repeat and play in comp servers to master one.
Tank Dempsey There are always exceptions. There are always. You are stating the obvious. I am saying generally if you pick up a game with a person with 2000hrs on mge, you are probably going to get your ass wiped. So i guess you are saying you can win a player with over 2000hrs on mge servers. Cool thats impressive. Keep it up :>
I always found Spies to be a bit lame, though the concept was really cool. And I don't get how people can be Snipers in the game considering how ridiculously fast everyone runs and jerks around..
Jin Park that IS the problem about them, sometimes spy seems such a hard class nowadays, because you can't fool anyone now, they always hit you just for fun or spychecking

the only time i was gifted something it was the ham and it was for a meme where there was 3 or 4 of us hitting people with the ham for no reason as demoman :P
If someone insults you instead of saying what you're doing wrong and give advice, then they are in the wrong.
just mute them
KillinTime i have the same problem..
don't worry man I'm a f2p that has no hat and I get along with most people fine
Somehow Even Though I’m A F2P, No One Ever Seemed To Be Mean For That Reason, Usually They Are Just Douches.
4:16 is my favorite part 😂
“Hey guys, is it me or is Spy in an awkward position on top of Demo?...” *everyone laughs* 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Yes
Try 3:43
I agree 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Makes me laugh too
@@gmailquinn 😂😂😂😂😂
Will never forget the people that were patient with me 👍
when he gave the F2P engi the hat... I cried
I don't have a hat :(
Honestly, we P2P shouldnt bully the F2P. We both love Team Fortress 2, and thats what matters. Cosmetics would make you look cool, but it wouldnt make you look cool in the inside.
Can we just share this not only here, BUT EVERYWHERE???
i agree
Yeah!
ive got 1 cosmetic in engi 2 strange in demo...Im f2p, i got 6 pages how cool is that
+Bzy Gt nah its normal for me Im f2p and got 10 pages in my inv. And got a unsual
This video sums up what I think about Free-to-Plays: they're just inexperienced, and with time, they will become great players. They just need to be given the chance.
"Hey look, buddy. I'm an en-"
*SPY SCREAMING INTENSIFIES*
I remember the first day I started playing tf2 a random guy found out I was new and gifted me a face full of festive for my engineer, I'll never forget about that guy. *sigh* I love tf2.
No ones ever that nice to me
did you friend him?
SparkyyHD sadly no.
+Crimson Knight hey I'm pretty good at tf2 still but you seem like a nice guy do u have a skype or do you want to be friends on steam?
i would help that lil engineer... im too kind to hate a newbie
or are you? i would give him something....like....what was that...
+MCMarcuz23 they are a pain sometimes. and youre soo meen xD
RandomlyCraziness well i AM F2P, but that doesn't mean i'm bad.
+MCMarcuz23 yeah i know. some people are actually decent and understand the game more than others
RandomlyCraziness yep. like the others IN the "Confused New Players".
I'm really loving the message behind this.
This is how people should treat eachother.
I'm talking about the Spy at the end jk lol
Being a f2p, is like being a freshman in high school. But once you become a sophomore, aka get a hat or whatever, you become a decorated player.
unless if you got the goggles or gibus with is stoopid
Or the gibus to hid your skill like muslk
Too many of these videos end with 2 players becoming friends and one of them giving the other a hat
This video says it all. Not all F2P users are noobs/bad players.
I remembered i watched this as a kid and then i tried to find this video. And after like 5 years of searching i have finaly found it
When I was F2P I remember some guys Vote kick me from a server, just because I dominated them XD
Same thing with me. The guy was pissed that I reflected his rocket and he started a vote against me.
only teammates can vote kick , lad. and u cant dominate teammates.
das fehler
Really? I swear one time I was being vote kicked after I dominated someone. Maybe it was just a coincidence then, because the guy was raging in chat.
das fehler could've been skial or something
+cd234ftw Add me on steam nick: [EnZ] Kimbo0494 #dream if this doesn't work try Kimbo0494
Brilliant point on F2P's... they aren't all bad, some have potential, they just need a helping hand (Note: not all of them, some are naturally talented)
And besides it isn't always their skill, TF2 isn't exactly the most smoothest running game on lower tier graphics cards, so they might just be lagging out.
gonna like and subscribe... brilliant video, keep it up ;)
If you ever saw me,you couldn't tell if I was an f2p
because i learned how to blend in with premiums
i already have a haunted silver bullet and im trying to get something of higher value
Wes The Derp yeah since i got that dark helm last scream fortress, i sometimes wear it on servers with halloween on, but its mostly on my pyro
Totally agree. Not all -but unfortunately the vast majority of- F2Ps are bad.
What do you mean decent amount of items? Valve only gives you 50 slots.
Slartybartfart Stafford I can help you, if it's not too late. I can give you the voice commands basics, then teach you how to properly perform the old spy-crab, overly used horny snipah or the legendary pootis spencer.
got 2 things to say
1: This video is a timeless piece of art. 2 of my favorite games in tf2 where one in which i was teached the basics and extra by a hard-boiled soldier who's name i forgot. and another in which i spent the whole match teaching a demo the ins and outs of what i could teach him about the class. i treasure those memories in my heart, in a nice bottle in a shelf right next to the good ending in bioshock 2 and the BoS (Like, all of the brotherhood.)
2: This video, among other things, inspired me to become a better player and to be understanding to other players, regardless of skill. it even helped me to make the step up to premium, by buying my first hat ever. the Texas Ten Gallon. I appreciate the maker of this video, and every player i have ever played with and against.
Remember gamers. you're no one until somebody loves you, and that someone is me. i love you gamers
Aww I still remember when players in tf2 had mercy and they were nice to new players. Good time good times. I miss 2010 - 2014 tf2 :(
it was what? (you said good time good times) really?
Then the waves of ruthless and cruel f2ps were too much. Now TF2 is a game where you rely on YT and sometimes Wiki to learn
Eclipse56 Well, i can't disagree there..
Wish I could experience the feeling of being new again ;_;
Random Person
By that he means the experience of be new to te game, not knowing much how it work but no matter the outcome, you have fun and you gain experience. as a game you always learn more but when you are just new, the whole thing is just mindblowing. Im still new and still learning about how amaizing and sometimes rough TF2 can be.
Random Person Wow, you're pleasant. It's like Masuo said. He's referring to the feeling of being new to something, the feeling of diving into a new experience and slowly growing better at it. Yeesh.
Random Person Are you a troll?
Poor dude removed his comment. Smart guy.
I wonder what he said.
NoMemoryGaming Pretty much?, he answer the first person like "give me all your stuff so you feel like a new player again"
That ending... it was amazing! xD
"Hey guys, isn't the spy in a really awkward position atop the Demoman?"
Nah, said nobody ever.
No, your an amazing animator. Thanks for the vids.
"What're you laughing at?" It was a difficult voice clip to do
no, I didn't voice act it. It was some of the engineers' lines cut and put together to make the phrase
Lukas1701 no, but the Engi, Sniper (me) and the blu spy will return with a troldier for a massive project. All based on a team... well, I can't give to much away now can I.
But it will take a while as I am in collage taking 4 (technically 5) subjects and I need to concentrate on those as well but I'll keep you lot up to date on what's happening with the film and give sneak peaks of it as a work in progress
you deserve more views, your good at this.
Even tho I'm a p2p, I'm nice to the f2p.
Why? You may ask, well, cause their human, human should communicate each other :3
That's nice.
In my past when I got Premium from a nice guy, I ended up being jerks to Free To Plays.
I later stopped doing that, and decided I wanted to help new players learn how to play the game.
Fortress22 what I hate in tf2 if you're wearing Gibus it means you're bad automatically no matter if you're actually good or bad player
dror raz that's how it works
Cringey Cookies no it's not I know a really good player but his only hat is gibus so shut the fuck up
sniper has a really nice voice uvu
Thank you 😏
I've realized after the video that it's your voice.
I really like your voice it fits well.
xXDarklady13Xx Thanks :)
CardTrickmedia I'd be the P2P Engi
+CardTrickmedia im pretty much the spy
and THAT’S how a community should work, help and work with each other :333
"Right-- do you want to shoot him in the face first, or the crotch?"
Hey we all gotta start from the bottom, so there is nowhere to go but up.
there is below the bottom
started from the bottom, Now we're here...
Well no i knew TF2 for a while before i got it and knew exactly what im doing. I wasnt good with the Controls tho.
This got me right in the feels, man. It makes me think of the people who helped me when I was a new player.
I love it when animators give sentries emotions and stuff. Like when the sentries don't just spin around aimlessly but they turn and look at stuff. That's the best lmao
If only tf2 was about such a team work and friendship.. instead of running and shooting everyone
1:15 What I heard:
Engineer: Pyro!
Pyro: Huh?!
Engineer: A spy!
Pyro: (laughing) That's what I thought it was....
Hey yeah you are right
"But having hats means more time in game and more skill..."
Oh shutup! You're skill doesn't matter with that behavior and attitude towards players.
"But...but all f2p's are annoying and loud squeakers..."
Some* Just because the few does something does not define the many. I've rarely seen F2P's screaming to the top of their lungs or asking annoying questions. The only thing I've seen in majority of them is making it to the top boards.
"But they are new to the game and they have no skill..."
So? Vote kicking and insults will not help at all. Leave them be and let them learn on their own.
Somebody get this man a Nobel Prize! He deserves it! Seriously, I mean it!
F2P REFERS TO PEOPLE WHO ARE NEW TO THE GAME AND ARE BAD NOT PEOPLE WHO DIDN'T PAY IN THE GAME
+Nope nottoday It's the other way around. unless you know about what you're talking about, don't talk at all.
obvious to tell what side of the spectrum he's on.
i like the detail of the f2p not using the laughing taunt and using the wrench taunt at the end
Unfortunately I admittingly am a F2P player, but this is pretty heartwarming when it comes to those players who understand the concepts of how each class works. Although I struggle with engineer and spy, I still try to understand how to use them in a way they are meant to be played.
Bloody hell a diamond in the rough
Epidemic Pain Interesting...This response didn't notify me.
Anyways, I bought an Ap-Sap and a Ninja Cowl for my Spy. It's fun hearing Wheatley's lines. And to make my Spy a Ninspyja. Wish I was still F2P, though.
BTW the only F2P players I would make fun at are the 100% COD people (who thinks EVERY FPS works like in COD), and raging children (and adults, ever heard of Jenna gets mad?).
This is the first time someone makes a video about newbies in TF2 that actually do great work.
Sometimes when we saw them coming we would stop and kill them.
this is how people should treat new players
So right. The guy that owns sodahappy gave me a backpack expander :D
The Menacingly evil smile of a pro F2P Scout good lord Respect that man already
I dont judge F2P players unless they kill me as a sandvich heavy or box spy (friendliest enemys ever) while pay to play players ignore me and recognize me as a friendly. I hate giving a sandvich just as a pyro slices me with a fire axe :(
Around the time I was going from f2p to p2p I was always playing on a combat surf server and there was a experienced looking p2p(name Miz) usually on the opposite team, he did the following total dick moves:
Kill friendlies
Try to spawn-camp
Repeatedly kill the same friendly player over and over again
Kill sandvich hoovys
Kill box spys
Kill spycrabs
Destroy partys.
I still go on that server just to have a war with him.
+Daniel C i will seek out and kill any "hoovies" or any other friendly on a pub. if you want to be friendly, go on a fucking trade server, or one for friendlies.
AztecAssholeGaming Which Cod is your favorite?
Im thinking Advanced warfrare is his fav
Daniel C maybe, I've never played any cod yet
Best. Moral. Ever.
One of my (former) friends is F2P, and I'm sure he's kicking arse at Sniper.
I already knew this message ever since F2P came; there can ALWAYS be a new player that's already good at the game.
2:26, far right corner
2:39 bottom left corner
3:20 bottom left corner
I don't know if I'm just hallucinating or something, but I see a Blu Scout there.
I dont
Yeah I see him
He is behind he fence line
Theiris a scout with i think a force of nature
I do
I see a blue scout
When i find a f2p i just start giving him some tips and helping him :3
i dout it
I'm liking your comment
Son, you deserve to be P2P. Just for how long you stuck around.
Hank Madness He is P2P now. You probably didn't readed another half where he said that
Nenad Mitrovic Or, you didn't understand the context and insulted me for no reason. Which is what you did. I was telling him that he deserves his premium account. That is what I meant. But hey, I forgot this is the internet, where people insult you for no fucking reason.
Hank Madness Thanks, though there are people that have many more hours. Still, thanks.
I have played 500 hours in tf2 also f2p,I have decent skill, sniper is my best class and i usually play 2fort and cp maps and many p2p players say hacks when I get a close range headshot.i wear the gibus because that is the most rage introducing hat in the game when you get killed by a person wearing it.I gotten 2 gifts a holiday punch and a
Pompson9000 or the pompson6000 how ever it's called. So that's my story in tf2 just sharing with people
is it just me or is spy in an awkward positon on demo (in a brit accent)
australian accent*
Australians and Britons DO sound a lot like the same
Not really, the australian accent is easy to distinguish from a typical english accent
That's definitely English. Like a posh southerner.
"Oh my cupcakes."
That is the luckiest F2P ever. First he gives him a weapon and then a hat?!?!
+J Garcia That one P2P is amazing, not much P2P would make a giveaway to F2P and then praise for their progression...
Luis Francisco López Alba May that man be at peace for his honor. x)
That's me right ? When I give you free stuff in a custom looking map when I am a admin ? If not I give free hats and gun to a f2p to someone
(he had no money and was a f2p)
I still play with him every now and then and his skill level has improved greatly from then.
Engie: Pyro!
Spy: (Oh no.)
Pyro: Mmf?
Engie: A Spy!
Pyro: *Delighted muffled laughter and gleeful mumbles*
Also you can hear the spy say nooooo before being burned
I love helping new players. I have a friend that has been playing non stop and he started last week. Everyone is making fun of him being a f2p but he always kicks their ass. I like your animation. It shows the best in people.
Theme of Story: Help Out New Players.
Ahh the memories when I was F2P. I won't forget those good P2Ps who teaches me how to play as a better class than before... :,)
Ahh... I really wish I can teach a new TF2 player like that, and see him succeed.
***** Let's teach people how to idle.
SweatyYoshi #1 Coach NA.
SuperShasta64 Wow....you must've been a really good teacher. We need more people like you in the community.
I love it when sfm videos use misc voice lines that aren’t trying to sound like the classes to keep the story going.
3:20 snaiprr, snaiprr, snaiprr.
And that is what I'm thinking about f2p - they erent bad, they new and they learning, sometimes they are better than premium players
*YABUTDONTFORGETMOTF2PSJSUTGOTTHEGAMEANDISHARDFORTHEMTOBEPROS;-;*
The problem isn't them being bad. Its the F2P trolls.
Screw Loose Yep
i agree
for example lets say some one got a unusual team captain with flames, buds a kringle collection
it doesnt mean that person is the best "player" in the game
IT JSUT MEANS THEY LOVE TF2 TRUE MEANING;D
This show's that there are still great players in the battlefield, f2p, or p2p, it also show's that some people have great hearts. For example, that engi just installed the game, and he got his first hat. Thank you for this.
"Hey look buddy Im engine-"
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
At 4:16-4:17, CardTrickMedia: “Hey guys, Is it me or has Spy done a rather awkward position on top of demo?”
BLU TEAM: *(Looks at RED Spy and Demo)* LMFAO! 😆🤣😂😹
Stuff like that gives it a touch of "based on real events" that I enjoy very much.
0:31 Hey look, it's the Rabid Heavy-Taming Engineer
Tails The Fox well i came a bit out of cod but i aint no bad F2P cuz i do use teamwork most of the time.
I just jumped from halo to tf2 and I am not that bad at all. Unless I'm playing spy.
I MEAN UNEDUCATED
I'm a bad F2P
But I didn't come from all of those game :/
I know that you put a lot of effort into this video, but I was a little disappointed when the radio was kicked and did not play any sort of music. that would have made there be less of a drop in action and made the scene feel more vibrant.
I wanted to do that, but I forgot to in the end

Me: SPY!
Merasmus: That Spy Is Pretty Gay
You know I love how much effort you put into this to get a point through about F2Ps. Good job M8
"I told you free 2 play players aren't that bad, so do we shoot him in the face it the crotch?". That sniper though the only one with the mic
That spy has the slowest sapping sapper ever :P
Probably Wheatley aka "Ap-Sap"
***** Wait we need a passcode let's see. AAAA Wrong... So AAAB ?
***** That's funny since when I use the Ap-Sap it takes a sentry down pretty fast if the timing is right.
***** But the Ap-sap is just a new model of the normal sapper right ?
captcha42 Kinda. But it does seem a bit more different from the regular one,
You can always tell a Texan. but you can't tell him much love that line
Ironically, that's when an Engie dominates an enemy Engie-
these days makes less sense to think f2p are bad since differently than the start of the game being f2p now there are tons of guides and advice's in the internet that can help even the less experienced be quite good.
very nice video mate.
Well somehow iam a f2p with hat...
Oh wait iam an undercover f2p.
finally, SOMEBODY realises that f2p players can have skill!
Yeah.... people doubted me too. But that was back when I had SOME skill at TF2. Haven't played in a while, which means said skill is probably gone, but I shall return.
skill doesn't go away, it gets stored in a secret compartment of your mind, waiting for the next time it's needed
Thank you for those words of wisdom. I hope that mental compartment doesn't have a limited storage space, though, because I play a lot of games.
I don't think so, I've put gams down for entire decades and picked them back up to find that my ability has actually matured over time (starfox 64 being a prime example, used to have a hard time on true venom as a kid, now I can beat it on master mode with relative ease)
Huh, so it kinda trains itself over time so you can own at it when you return? Cool.
I gave F2P a hat for playing good!
I feel like that scout needed a Gibus upgrade. He did save a few mates with the F2P hard hat.
My first experience was...
- "Text communication is disabled for this account."
- Kicked because of level.
- Turning and only turning.
0:45 Ok... what kind of engineer hasn't done this the first time he built something? It's cute that hes so proud of himself for putting up a Dispenser! I still get really sad when my buildings get destroyed. Granted, I'm rarely an Engineer so I haven't gotten very used to it.
Yeah i know that pro F2P players exist, but it is so hard to find one! I always try to help them, i play as medic, healing them. Protecting them from backstabs, playing as pyro... But no! They have to go to the enemy base when i don't have uber! I say that i don't have Uber, and they don't know what Uber is in the first place! And we die.(Not big surprise!)
I have a nice 248 hours on TF2 and a great player. While most P2P players I just dominate.
+Tank Dempsey
248 is aint a lot bro. Under 1000hr on tf2 is still called noob. Your "good" when you go over 2000hrs. Doesn't matter if you dominate someone, you gotta go to mge servers to really test out your skills.
There are things called game sense and experience on comp matches, it is inpossible but to repeat and play in comp servers to master one.
kh yang just because someone has 2000 hours on TF2 does not mean they are 'good' they could have 200 and be classified as 'extremely good.
Tank Dempsey
There are always exceptions. There are always. You are stating the obvious. I am saying generally if you pick up a game with a person with 2000hrs on mge, you are probably going to get your ass wiped.
So i guess you are saying you can win a player with over 2000hrs on mge servers. Cool thats impressive. Keep it up
:>
That is why you don't follow them like an idiot. x3
I honestly miss the old days when all I had was my ghastly gibbus. I still remember being an F2P like it was yesterday ;)
Hopefully, you don't hate on F2P as they can be much better than a p2p player, vanilla characters can do still as much as non vanilla characters.
i want to b p2p :v
Loved the Ending and the Entire Vid! CardTrickmedia you should be a Saaxy Winner!
Lol, I never got help when I was new, much less a hat. XD
0:25 That need to be a new taunt kill for Demoman's Nessie's Nine Iron!
Now tell me, from when the heck new players play as engie with their first pick?
I thought they only pick sniper or spy...
I picked Engineer when I first played TF and TF2. Though I didn't play that much on TF2..
Jin Park you probably were the early type of tf2 gamer, now they only pick spy or sniper
I always found Spies to be a bit lame, though the concept was really cool. And I don't get how people can be Snipers in the game considering how ridiculously fast everyone runs and jerks around..
I chose a Scout. They're fast, and I like that a lot. Learned to play a Scout pretty decent but got bored of the game. :/
Jin Park that IS the problem about them, sometimes spy seems such a hard class nowadays, because you can't fool anyone now, they always hit you just for fun or spychecking
this was fun to watch! good job M8! you solved some practical problems here.
