Hey Ava, I came over from Tims channel after watching the live stream. Keep on Keeping it real Iv done a little car camping myself, Loved It! Did it a few times a week for about 4 months to save some money on gas, and have more time to enjoy myself/more time with friends and bandmates. It was way better than driving over a hour and a half 5...6.. sometimes 7 days a week working full time in a cabinet shop, and participating in 5 different music groups. It's been a few years and iv slowed down alot, but miss waking up in my friends driveway and driving 5 mins to work instead of 45 mins before 8 am. just to do it again the next night at another friends house. I never upgraded to screens on the windows, I just did it when it was cold. It was actually during this time that I bought a short school bus that iv been converting. It changed my life, It gave me time to think about what I really wanted out of life.

To activate this additional service, you'll need to confirm through your post office where you have the po box and complete a customer agreement form for 'Street Addressing'. Get a UPS box at a UPS store . You can also use it as an address for drivers licenses , banks, and anything else because it shows up as a residential address.
Sounds like you could use a 12 volt power inverter so you can charge your stuff while you're on the road also a large insulated jug to keep cold water and some will keep water cold or hot for up to a week or longer

I'm smiling as I hear you talking about the water bottle caps that fly away and never return. I feel the same way about our socks and the dryer. There are only 2 of us living at my home and I'm a very organized person when it comes to laundry ~ but I still have a small container full of sock whose partner seems to have decided to leave our home.
Very nice video ! Maybe You can get a phone holder that fits on the back of the front seat, or maybe an organiser that hangs down the back of the seat ! You could also get water bottles with pop up spouts, Then no more lost lids ! Love and Blessings to You and Yours 🙏

Great video!! 😂 also, for the PO Box problem, not sure if you’re ordering packages on Amazon, but you can always send those to a local Amazon locker. And for items not on Amazon, there are mom & pop mail centers (places you can print & use a notary) in almost every town that you can go in & ask about sending packages there. They send you an email with a code or something when your package arrives there & they can scan it when you get there to locate your package for you. Hope that helps!
Thanks for the suggestions! I have definitely taken advantage of the Amazon pickup lockers. It would have still been more convenient for me if they could go to my PO box since it's closer to work than the nearest locker, but the lockers are definitely great. I kind of don't want to rely on Amazon too but the lockers are really useful for this lifestyle in particular.

Not certain, but worth a quick a google search. Would love to know if it works for you! My mom is always wanting to send me things on the road😂. I tell her to just place a pick up order at the closest target near me & then I can show the barcode & get it. Works great!

Don't worry about what others think. It's your life. If you're happy and enjoying it, that's all that matters. I can tell you there are more people living in vehicles than you think. A lot of them don't talk about it. I see a lot all over Houston while working on properties. Most are just average Joe's and Suzie's working and cutting cost and living a free lifestyle. As far as PO Box asking your postoffice if they have an address for packages and you use your box number with that. Mine does that, no issues
Get a sonic toothbrush. Battery lasts 100+ brushes of 2mins, battery also charges via usb overnight. I've had mine for 18 months and have only charged it 3 or 4 times total.
Having a voltmeter is super handy when always in a vehicle,I installed an actual gauge style one but an easy option is to get a USB port that plugs into your cig lighter/12 volt socket that displays battery voltage,some also have the Bluetooth to radio station feature Also shouldn't TH-cam allow me to give ya 2 thumbs up's- I still have both of my thumbs attached last time I checked lol

I got a FedEx box through ipostal and I've actually gotten big packages and everything there as long as you go within their business hours everything is fine if you get all your mail and with I postal you see what your mail is before you ever go for it so you have the option to have them recycle the junk mail for free or I always have like at least $10 on my account that way if I want them to just shred something I can but I haven't had to do that in a while
LMAO about the water bottles, been there done that. Find a local UPS store, they provide a mailbox for about $60/3 months. Never had a problem with packages no matter the size. I'm renting their biggest box just to be clear though.
Eva dont do po box some companies will not send your mail. You can get a personal or business mailbox with ups or FedEx or someplaces have little mailbox shipping and service places that you actually get a street number and real address some cost 25 To 65 dollars a month but it's safe and worth it.

Losing my phone and not knowing where it is - especially first thing in the morning- is a huge nuisance to me. Don't even get me started when I'm missing a fork. I have America's mailbox. 📬 The only thing is that you will incur charges if you don't pick up packages pretty immediately (in my case).

A lot of POs have a street address service so you can get UPS, FedEx, and other deliveries to your post office. Check it out.

Find a DOL that has mail boxes, they are cheaper than the UPS stores for mail boxes. They have actual street addresses for all pkg deliveries.

I would suggest *NOT* to travel to locations without internet, cellular service in the Winter, the reason is that weather conditions can change quickly, and you absolutely DO NOT want a vehicle break down, or malfunction, and not have the availability to contact your family, and or emergency road assistance or emergency services.
Safety is Paramount.
Keep your vehicle gas filled
Don’t chance your Safety by running your vehicle fuel or gas too close to Empty.
Fill it up anyway, it will save you alot of time, and headache later on.
Remember to keep up on routine maintenance, check your tires for wear, keep up with your fluids for your vehicle, like oil levels, antifreeze coolant,
Please carry extra (oil)(washer fluid), (brake fluid), (antifreeze).
You will need extra Winshield Washer fluid because of the ever changing Weather conditions, especially in slushy wet roads.
Because you will Be driving more often in dusty, dirty windy, varying weather conditions.
Your windshield will gather dust and debris from long term driving.
Also, Remember Because you are on the road riding for sometimes very long distances, and long periods of time, I would suggest investing in 2 sets of tires, and a spare, the extra set to rotate.
Check the mileage ratings on your tires they all very.
Conduct visual inspections of your tires often, check for damage, wearing, air pressure, etc
Keep a pressure gauge to check your tires pressure and a tire pump. Electric, Portable tire pump.
Keep towing insurance to Be Safe if you ever need it.
It Doesn’t cost much try to get National coverage if available, or where you will be traveling.
Keep Extra financing, and savings for any unexpected issues, vehicle repairs, and overnight stays, in a emergency or if you need to rest indoors.

Losing my phone and not knowing where it is - especially first thing in the morning- is a huge nuisance to me. Don't even get me started when I'm missing a fork. I have America's mailbox. 📬 The only thing is that you will incur charges if you don't pick up packages pretty immediately (in my case).
