Ava, I for the longest time fantasized with ‘living on the road”, it is definitely something that is not fit for anyone. You are not doing anything bad/wrong is your decision to move forward with your adventure or stop it. Make sure you take yourself into account when deciding any action plan, ANY relationship needs some level of commitment from both parts. Understand what you want/need and based on that invite this fellow to your world or perhaps move forward without him… best of luck I hope you find the answer. Thanks for sharing this. I'm currently in the process of trying to find a vehicle to do this. Any pointers on where to look? I've tried FB marketplace but everyone seem to be hiding something wrong about the vehicle instead of being up front about it. Its getting frustrating.

Great info! I’ll have to try these. I’ve slept in hospital parking lots and parking garages a few times. Other than that I mostly use Cracker Barrel, Bass Pro, Loves, National Forest forest roads, or actual campgrounds. I’ve been wanting to stay in neighborhoods but have only done it twice. Also want to try hotel lots.

This was an interesting suggestion from youtube but this is a refreshing video. Im glad it all worked out and I definitely will subscribe. Just remember ladies, there is always someone out there that will get your "weird/quirks" You dont have to change for anyone. I did car living for a bit in California till my car broke down 😭 I moved in with family till I bought a new car and decided to continue car camping. I think I go thru the same thing sometimes, when I meet new people I worry they would think less of me and also crazy in a mental health way. My soul reason, is the freedom.

He is right it is extremely dangerous. I would not want the woman I care for being out on the streets in her car every night while I was home sleeping in my bed. First it is weird, second I would worry all night, every night. As we get closer to the end evil is absolutely going to become more prevalent. Why intentionally put yourself in a situation where you become a statistic or worse yet a casualty? Just saying. Thanks for sharing. Take care. Amen!

Buying a house and renting it out is very risky. I've seen quite a few young women quit YT in the last few years. I car camped across the entire country in 1975. Most people thought that it was crazy but, it was a great adventure. Make your decisions for yourself. If he was the right guy, it wouldn't make any difference to him. Well first off has he been living under a rock ? Car/van camping is a lifestyle and has been for many years now . And secondly it takes a certain kind of free spirit to live out of your vehicle. And imo and experience a free spirit and a non free spirit don’t work . They will try to clip Your wings . Consider it a sign that he just wasn’t meant to be.

Stumbled upon your channel because I've been interested lately in car life and the nomadic lifestyle. One thing I've learned for sure at almost 50 years old (49) I don't care what my family, friends or anyone else thinks about me. It doesn't matter to me anymore

Part of being embarrassed about car camping is your youth. I'm 80 and was a little like you when I was in my 20;s. However, now that I've lived thru the decades I've learned that you create your own embarrassment. And that one should never try to change who they are for someone else or a relationship. Car living is common now, but I know in the past it wasn't so prevalent and that's where the bad rep came from. People live in cars, vans, rv's, mobile homes, horse trailers, tiny homes, those metal storage containers (I've temporarily forgotten what they're called), tents, garages, etc. There are so many choices now, thankfully. Please don't harbor any inferiority feelings about your lifestyle choices. If someone else doesn't like it, that's their problem. You are just fine, my dear. You are enough just as you are.

I’ve had my apartment for about 1 1/2 years now and my car still feels more like home to me. Never did figure out the address problem when I lived in my car full time. I’ve always been upfront about enjoying living in vehicles. It definitely limits the dating pool but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. If they don’t get it, it’s probably not going to work out anyways. The only people that consistently haven’t judged me for enjoying car camping are other truck drivers. I guess that’s not too surprising though.

Great video!!! However, Take my advice at age 51, you need to find a new hobby. You are a very attractive woman and the days of building clubhouses are over. Car camping is NOT good for your health or hygiene. You need to settle down and put some hard work into life. Housing is about stability and responsibility.
