      That's probably what curlformers noticed and was hoping to work with her so their products can sell out. They could stay there and wait! Ain't nobody paying them prices for their products.

    Could the twisting machine be used without the first step where it twists the two individual strands? And just start with the 2nd step🤔 because when you do it by hand, you don’t do that first step.
    Also, could that first step be used on its own to create ”finger coils”? After the machine is done twistng you’d just release the strands!

      You have children of different “ethnicities”, not races. We are all one race, which is ‘human’. Anytime I see or hear someone say or put humans in the context of different “races”, I always try to correct. We shouldn’t be going by what the government says, we should go with what science calls us as a specie, which is “Homosapien”. IJS Even though the government hasn’t changed this on documents we fill out, it doesn’t mean we need to carry it with us and consider everyone a different race just because the government does. The government is ignorant. I should know, I worked for the government for two decades almost.

  • @sharonbeauford7776
    @sharonbeauford7776 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Amber, you have to remember even though you do you twist outs by hand, you don’t sit there and twist each strand tight by hand then do your twists. Is there a way to do the twist machine without twisting the individual strands first. That’s also why using the machine is so much slower, it’s a 2-step process, whereas your by hand twist outs are 1-step.

    The mechanical twister added an extra step. It twisted each part individually and then afterwards, reversed and twisted those two parts together. I think that added more time. And due to the potential for any hair getting caught wrapped around the orange hooks of the machine, it might be better that it doesn't spin any faster! Haha.
    Thank you so much for your review and showing us how it worked on your hair. Love your channel!!

    Sooo cool! Okay, here's my thoughts (but, I'm a bright white girl with poker straight red hair and I'm pretty sure I probably don't know what I'm talking about. Yay.)
    Hand twisted side:
    Not as shiny
    Not as frizzy
    Looser curls
    WAY FASTER! =D
    Machine side:
    So shiny!
    Tighter curls
    Didn't get twisted as close to the scalp as the hand twisted side.
    Amazingly frizzy once you separated the twists. I was really surprised by that since they were so shiny.
    I like the hand twisted side much better. But... I bet you could get the good results from the machine side if you were able to do your twists a bit tighter. (that kinda gets rid of the time advantage of twisting by hand but maybe give a try for shi*s and giggles) - if twists are very moisturized I'd think yours would look way better than the machine's twists.
    Please don't beat me up for talking w/no actual experience. I just love your videos. :)

    I do 'ropes' in my granddaughter's hair - - she has caucasian hair, with only a slight curl, and it's down to her bottom. I twist them very tightly and leave them in for a couple of days. When I take them out, she has little sausages hanging down her back - - they're so cute. For her hair, the tighter I twist them, the better they look.

    I think the tool side is Tighter because you rolled each strand group before you twisted it. So, if you simply twist the two strands with the tool without coiling the hair first, I wonder if it would be just as thick and easy to undo? That's my request if I can make one. Thanks in advance🤔

  • @vonshall2763
    @vonshall2763 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    I wonder if the electric detangled just didn't remove the shed hair due to the wide teeth meaning maybe some of the shed hair stayed in your hair or fell to the floor since the teeth may be too wide to hold onto it where the tangle teezer will remove the shed hairs while keeping them in the brush. The type of twists done with the tool are called rope twists which would have taken you longer had you done that kind by hand. ( I think you twist the two sections one way and then wrap them around each other the other way see rope twist tutorial for an example.) I also wonder if the electric detangled would work faster if you used it as a regular brush moving it in and out of the hair more often rather than starting at the top and just waiting on it to go down the strands.. Like actually brushing the hair with the detangling brush starting at the ends or do the directions say to start at the root and wait for it to glide down slowly.

    I like the twisting tool twists because they are elongated and seem like they would last. However, I think you may need a little more practice and smooth the ends better. However, I agree that it would be nice to skip the extra twisting step.

    you should do your twists the same way the machine di]oes them so its equal work that way timing would be more legit since youre doing the same exact thing

    Idk if anyone else in the coments said this but the machine side of your hair is finger coiled because the machine twisted the sections of hair around before creating the actual twists. By doing this it makes your twists alot tighter and your finishing look will end up just like yours.

    So question for any of y'all with super curly/coily hair. What does twisting do? A lot of naturals do it when pre-pooing, or even just after conditioning they twist their hair. Is it mostly just for easier sectioning?

    Really it depends on your vibe for that day. I agree the side where the machine was used 🔥🔥🔥🔥if the ends got finger coiled. Hand twisted side🔥 but it’s like eh .. seen it before, lol.
