Am very glad you’ve touched on this subject, thank you. My mother(72yrs) who’s a ckd stage 3, diabetes and hypertension patient. Her hgb level was at 7.4 in April which she had 3 units of blood transfusion. The hgb level came back to 11. In August her hgb levels went down again to 9.6, by September it came down again to 8.7 which Doctor ordered to 2 units of irradiated blood transfusion. Her hgb is currently at 12.2 . Her ferritin levels are very high, eritropoetin level is at 7 but that was before the blood transfusion. In August I put her on keto diet with mostly lamb cooked with lamb fat. That spiked her creatinine levels from 2.1 to 3.4. Then I changed her diet to veggies with only eggs as her protein. Her creatinine levels went back 1.9. Still I’m very confused with diet and how I can maintain hgb levels to 11 or 12. The worst part of low hgb is, it’s exhausting her heart. She has weak heart valves and also takes bp meds, also she’s on blood thinner (aspirin) and cholesterol meds part of her heart meds. Again thanks for your input.

My mom has had anemia her whole life and I never had it until now I got my kidney transplant and my blood levels a little low at 11.4 so they said it's a mild form and my doctor says (PCP and kidney) said it's ok. Though it's mild I still feel very tired all of a sudden. I will check these you are recommending. Thank you.
Thumbs up ... i have a question figured you would know. When leaking protein in urine. If i dont eat protein or very little protein in the day will i still loose protein in my urine with ckd?
With little protein in your diet it should lower the protein in your urine. However, you don't want to become protein deficient. We have about 4-6 videos on low protein diets. You should look at those. Just search through our videos. Any questions please let me know Robert
@@HealthyKidneyInc mentally been in a bad way. The hospital found a trace amount of protein in urine. My pee has been amber colored and I’m drinking plenty of water . My Doctor gave me a urine test it was all negative for protein but i drank alot of water prior and the specific gravity was 1.000 so not really sure if that test is even valid, my mothers on dialysis and i have anxiety bad. I look online it says dark urine is a liver issue. . Really lost my mind , been a bad year. I was at work had back pains ran to the bathroom and there was blood in my urine . Doctor ran blood tests and an ultrasound and found i have a 5.9 cm simple cyst on right kidney along with 2 stones 4 & 5 mm I have been having back spasms the last few months and now I’m on anxiety medication .very scared and confused. I appreciate you getting back to me before . You make good videos you are very knowledgeable.
