1. You have a brilliant mind for furnishings. 2. You NEED to voice act a game or something. 3. Your editing and production value is top! Really enjoying your channel Kalam0n.
Thank you Roarshak! I'd love to do voice acting but I'll settle for YT videos for now. Funny to think I used to be a bit self-conscious about my voice, but recording voiceover really helps with that.
Thank you so much! I was planning to just recreate one I'd made before but I opted to try and upgrade the look a bit for the video and I'm really happy with how they turned out. Now I have to go back through my homes and upgrade all the existing ones!
Holy crap I did not know you could free build in ESO, this game has definitely changed since the last time I played it, think I might need to hop back in
The devs have been doing a better job of adding pieces that are more useful for builders as well. We've got access to all kinds of doors, walls, half walls, platforms, and they're finally starting to add roof and ceiling pieces. I strongly recommend checking out @futerko or @anpire as their housing builds are truly on the next level.
Best house in the game is the free inn room in Rimmin in Elsweyr, just for the convenience to the wayshrine, but I admit I own every home you can buy using gold or through achievements.
Found this very useful. Used the trapdoor one but replaced the walls with leyawiin wall, wainscott since it was indoors. Still works perfectly. Experimenting with the roofing but super stoaked bout it the progress I am making with my house
@@Kalam0n yeah. The whole inside of my house is primarily leyawiin and alinor with the redguard red couches and red rugs. Been looking for more neat lil tips and tricks. I mean I know their is housing tools but hard to find actual videos with tips and step by step guides. I appreciate you for what you do
Hi. Do you have an instructional video on how to set up a trophy wall? I tried a few times and find it frustrating to try to get them aligned and flush with the wall, per se. I'd love to see a "how to" or even something on how to make a display wall/case, etc. Thank you for the videos.
I see you are passionate about housing, but you are failing to mention the biggest advantage BESIDE storage: FREE fast travel. You can fast-travel from ANYWHERE in a PVE zone to your home for FREE... This makes picking up a free apartment on High Isle, for example, very attractive...
I tell anyone who’s into doing master writs - get Gardner House in Stormhaven! Just travel outside the house for one fast load screen. The writ turn in is just across the wall. I can do close to 100 master writs in an hour (which is my goal as I pop the Grand XP Scroll…)
2 small Q's: which platform/server are you on and are your houses open for visitors? I love, LOVE your homes and I'd love to occasionally pay a visit to some of your houses assuming you're on PC.
I'm on PC-NA and yes! They should all be open to visitors. I have added some to EHC, but feel free to hit me up in-game anytime if you're having trouble finding one - I also have clickable links in the guild info for all of my finished homes if you'd like to join up.
A few people on my most recent video told me to check out this tutorial. Just started playing ESO coming from Skyrim, and I have WAY too much stuff! I'm trying to challenge myself with how I play, so I don't think I can do the PvP or the Writ stuff quite yet. You said you *can't* just make a new character to get the other 3 coffers right? That would probably have been my only choice at the moment 😅
Yeah, the coffers are a bit of a grind unfortunately. You can get lucky in the Imperial City, but I get pretty stressed out if I'm carrying around a big pile of Tel Var that I could lose as any moment.
so honestly when you access those trunks in the cabinet, you dont constantly open up the wrong one because the click boxes are so close together?I know I would stand there trying to walk forward and backward to get the right chests dialogue box to pop up but it looks nice!
There is a certain amount of finesse required but it's not too bad imo. You could probably pull off something similar with just a bit more space though!
Worst case scenario you could probably just level up a new character to 18. I would assume it's retroactively granted, but maybe not. 18 is pretty quick nowadays though!
Ooh! I like a challenge! I'd start with the 'Ayleid Panel, Arched' for the sides and shelves. Any of the 'Ayleid Constellation Stele' might also be useful. I forget if they are decorated on both sides or not though.
I don't use reshade but it could be an odd quirk of video editing. I will occasionally throw on a filter in some clips, but most of each video is undoctored. I think it may just be that in some cases, filming, exporting, then YT compression can smooth some things out. Alternatively, I'd suggest tweaking your Gamma. Just turning that down a bit could give everything a bit more depth in-game. The game will say "The above logo should be barely visible" - no thanks! I turn it down until that logo has just become invisible.
Hi new player here! Is it true that if i sub to ESO plus for like a month I get the crafting bag thingy and everything I put there I can still pull even after my sub is gone?
That is correct! You can load up the craft bag during that month and then draw from it even after the sub has lapsed, just can't add more to it until you sub again.
Dude I bought one with gold a few months ago on Xbox and I migrated over to pc and I cannot for the life of me find that information and it’s starting to get annoying ngl I can go back onto my Xbox account and it still has that 60 slot chest so I know it wasn’t in my head, it’s in the house I bought at the same time I bought that chest. All I can remember is that it was 60k because at the end of the day I spent 130k on the chest and a house for said chest.
I'm not aware of a way to purchase them with gold, or any house that comes with a free one. Maybe there was some special promotion on Xbox I'm not aware of?
@@Kalam0n apparently PC is different in many ways, like cp apparently doesn't apply to all characters on ESO for the PC only characters that hit level 50 so good thing I'm working on all my toons at once this time around. But when I make my necromancer and warden they're going to have a rough time because it's not like Xbox where I could just give them cp abilities to give them a boost. Looking at that mount speed in particular. I was assuming the PC players didn't know what they were talking about, but I got hounded and was told to just go back to Xbox if I can't handle the changes. But as I said before, I've been leveling my 4 characters in tandem, they're all level 30, so they will all hit 50 around the same time as well meaning I subjectively am not affected by it, I was just questioning how two versions of the same game could be so different.
@@TheGreyShaman The CP thing actually should work the same as Xbox. I have low level characters with 2000 CP applied. Not sure where they got that idea from, maybe just because you won't share CP from NA to EU? But I assume that's also true on console. At any rate, as soon as you unlock CP on one character you will be able to buy CP abilities on your other characters. As far as I'm aware the biggest differences are all driven by the playerbase. There's addons on PC, which are amazing but also raise expectations, make the market more competitive, etc. And then of course there's a lot more gold sloshing around so player sold goods are gonna be more expensive - but that also means it should be easier to afford things with fixed prices. On PC you can go farm mudcrabs or a couple hours and probably pay for a nice house, I suspect you can't do that on console.
@@Kalam0n dang I’m just getting kutas and selling them for 6,500 each, didn’t think to farm something for mats to sell, but I also didn’t see any guides for house buying that implied there were different methods for both consoles, but then again a lot of time has passed since launch so maybe farming is actually worthwhile now.
I believe Imperial City is actually free now, just have to claim it from the crown store but there is no cost. Still a grind, but well worth it imo - I definitely do not recommend buying these storage chests with crowns.
@@sigmaunknown4326 Welcome back! I wish they'd just roll IC into the base game rather than making it something you have to claim from the crown store since I'm sure there's plenty of people who miss it.
