    I don't understand why people compares you. You did a nice stuff here and for sure you improve. Nobody has born knowing.
    I'm also trying to learn and, although you explained a lot of times is not quite clear to me how you connect everything. Would you please tell us again how is it connected? Thanks!

    This is the sickness! I'm just now getting into the Kaossilator and KP3. Despite the time that has passed I think they are still highly relevant production tools, if you can find units in good working order. Watching you rock 3X KP3s with the KO is downright inspiring man!

    beardyman uses 4 O.o i dont know why u asking such question. i use 2 for melodies n riffs n one for pure drum sampling, this way the samples dont interfere with each other

      11 years ago I made this video 😅 but yes beardyman was an inspiration. It was 2011 I won the American Champs thanks to his inspiration and in 2012 I had the pleasure to perform on stage with him in NYC. He still very inspiring, the beardytron has higher production value and the visuals are dope 👌

    @Rooftopaccessorizer im running the mic-microkorg-kaossilator pro with proper eq to one mixer- that mixer outputs twice to two different kaoss pads one runs on send mode- the 2 output to the last mixer where is eq again soo that all levels run proper. that and obiously this shit is all expensive ill get a better way to run the gear together in the future

    It literally sounds like you fit all of Crystal Method's studio on your kaoss pads

  • @jflobeatbox
    @jflobeatbox  12 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    it just simply means that 2 are outputing the same exact audio but only 1 is making DIRECT noise. let me put it to you this way,kaosspad1 outputs-kaosspad2 outputs-mixer kaosspad3 outputs-mixer. The 3rd one is isolated and technically they would both output the same direct sound, but you make one in send feature to only make noise when is desired(the little switch in the back of the kaosspads)
    .

  • @jflobeatbox
    @jflobeatbox  12 ปีที่แล้ว

    i eq everything on one mixer(mic,kaossilator,microkorg)-that mixer outputs TWICE. 2 kaosspads are connected and one runs on "send" feature(this allows to only make noise when you sample and when you hit effects, this way since you are outputing 2 kaosspads that output 2 of the same audio, it doesnt sound like 2 of the same sound. Then they are eq again on another mixer then finally compressed in the end.

    • @foreststerling4144
      @foreststerling4144 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Emanuel Romero Use a midi hub. You can patch and merge multiple signals to multiple devices. I've got a 4 in 8 out hub made by MOTU. I don't have 3 KP3's. But enough stuff that daisy chaining the midi signal doesn't work for my set up. This Guy is nuts.

    sick mix man :D
    Just wondering, could you post up a list of your set up in the description? Trying to expand my own setup into more than one KP3 :P
    thx

  • @jflobeatbox
    @jflobeatbox  12 ปีที่แล้ว

    yes im using a cheap sound compressor cuz all this stuff is madd expensive, but yes i recommend using a sound compressor. I am not a sound engineer genius but im sure there is better ways to get a more clear sound, im not quite there yet. i do a bit of more compression after is recorded as well. but sound compression for live performance def helps when you any looping or sampling live.

    @flipsyder Glad someone said that. If people think beardyman is the only one who can do this, like he has a copyright on the idea then i say bollox !.

      I just checked back to make sure you got an RC505! we have a Facebook group about it now

    • @jflobeatbox
      @jflobeatbox  ปีที่แล้ว

      I have an RC 505 but tbh I use it for effect inputs, effect outputs, compression, dynamics, global reverb and instrument inputs. I still use the Kaosspads as a form of my main loops, just like the way they work better for making a "DJ set" I feel like the RC 505 is good for looping tracks/songs but not a continuous mix

    @basiclick This is a pretty danm good job. You cant compare to beardy man saying he needs to make it sound like its not beardy man. Thats like telling A rock band to not have there guitar because it sounds like another bands guitar. Beat boxing can be made into many different style, just because beardy man got famous of this doesnt mean other people didnt do it before him.

    Get a good audio interface with digital inputs and run it all into your computer into a software, then send it out on a simple L/R to the FoH... I'd say get rid of those mixers, they are taking away the good quality and definition of the kaoss pad... Gj bro keep it up
