    ✅ VLOG SEASON 3: EPISODE 13
    Welcome back travelers!
We took a trip out to Julian, California with the fam. The best time to visit is during the Autumn season, when apples are at their peak, fall color palette is in full swing, and the festivities are in order. We made this guide to share with all of you what you can do in town and what you can expect in the cities downtown, the top bakeries, the gold mine tours, u pick farms, and cideries.

If you’re going to Julian from Ramona, there is another Julian Pie company store in Santa Ysabel, six miles west of Julian. It might be less crowded

Please do! I think you'll find it pretty cool. Trying some pie and seeing the main street area during this time a year is fun

Years ago my husband and I were on our way to Julian and I made him turn around because the drive scared me. Thanks for sharing. I can taste the apple pie.

Looks like you had a great trip and visited a nice array of businesses! The Julian apple season closed soon after it opened due to severe winds blowing the apples off the trees...so sad! If you'e interested in artisan soap, the Julian Soap Shop right there on Main Street is a great place!
It's been a couple years since we were there; but we bought apple pie from every possible pie place and brought it home for a fun taste testing party. Out of 9 people, there was one clear winner - Bear Mountain Bakery in St. Ysabel (just a hop skip and jump from Julain) . They're also listed by the San Diego Tribune as one of the best pies in CA. A close 2nd place was Apple Annie's pie! Both had lots of fruit, with Bear Mountain's pie being high on flavor without being over sweetened. Unfortunately, Mom's and Julian Pie company were very poor examples and came in last....Mom's pie had almost no filling (my slice had 4 pieces of apple in the whole thing. I was surprised when your Julian pie slices were so big so hoping they've changed their recipe. Might be time for us to head back up for another Apple Pie Tour! Oh, btw. Take a short trip out of town on 79S to Inspiration Point/Desert View; it's roughly 3 miles. You'll be able to overlook Anza Borrego desert, and even the Salton Sea.

The storm that hit recently was definitely unfortunate. We hoped to do some apple picking but every farm was either temporarily closed or had no apples to pick. I wanted to try Bear Mountain Bakery but they were out of pies on both days 😫 I will take a trip out to Anza Boreggo to see that view. Thank you for watching and taking the time to write this comment. Have a good night

I love going to Julian. I live in LA just the pies alone are worth the 2+ hour drive. Don’t get me wrong all the stores and restaurants are great also. I’ve taken a few of my friends and they all fell in love with going to Julian.
