- Instructional video explaining how to install most generic under sink water filter systems.
The video explains how to install the plumbing kit (Ezi Fit connection, Isolation Valve and Pressure Limiting Valve (PLV), Installing the Water Filter Tap (Faucet) and connecting the system using 1/4" Tubing and Quick Connect Fittings.
All our systems come with either a 350kpa or 550kpa pressure limiting valve (PLV) if you have purchased a system and it does not have one of these we highly recommend you purchase one. These prevent excess water pressure and hammer to enter the water filter system for more information see this link: goo.gl/gV6r3I
This video can be used to install Single, Twin and Triple Under Sink Water Filter Systems.

I enjoyed your demo.Your approach was straight forward and clean, it makes me want to tackle the same project at home that I have pending for a while.
Great video and sanity restorer!!! My kit came with the 'non-quick connect' system. In my case, the chrome nut (that attaches to the faucet shank) came with a metal olive that the instructions told me to place 'on top of the retaining nut'. Assembling the white tube with the retaining nut, nylon olive, chrome nut AND the metal olive (per the instructions), there was no way that the chrome nut would engage with the faucet shank. At 1-30am, this nearly drove me insane! However, watching your video this morning showed the installation without the metal olive and - tada!! - a working filter system and sanity restored! Many thanks.
Thanks for this video! I was nervous to install my under-counter filter and was trying to decide the best place to mount it. I was also unsure about the hoses since they didn't have a tightening nut. I love the idea of NOT mounting it so I can pull it out to change the filters easier and never would've thought that would be ok if you hadn't suggested it. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this. Concise, yet clearly explained, gave us a lot of options for different under sink set ups, shows everything we need to see, steps are shown in order, and the presenter is great. Ten out of ten. Just going to install my filter now, and I feel much more confident.
Thank you for this! My kit came with very little help for the faucet portion and this helped a lot!
Thanks mate, really helped clarify a few things before I went off the deep end with the install.
10 out of 10 for this video. Thank you from Australia.
Cheers mate, I was happy installing my filter by myself, but it's nicer watching someone else do it first! :-)
One of the best HOW to videos I have ever seen AWESOME !!!
deadset champion, installed mine today whilst watching your video on my laptop, thanks mate
Thank you. It becomes quite easy to install with a video guide.
Great explanation, thank you.
@MrSidchrome No not from Aldi just one of our standard twins. If buying from Aldi make sure it has a PLV if it doesn't don't buy it.
Very clear splanation. Danke!
Excellent video instruction. Is the PLV necessary?
Thanks for this. You're good at explaining. I have a 10" filter with a 10" housing, but the filter became moldy because I couldn't screw it shut, it didn't go all the way down to the buttom(rounded off housing at the buttom, two different manufacturors. How is the water supposed to flow when the filter is inside the housing?
Nice video...Thank you Mate !!
I measured the water supply line (pipe that goes through the sink) as being only 8mm across. You mentioned drilling a 13mm hole, but wouldn't a 10mm hole suffice? Also, I'm drilling through granite which requires a diamond drill bit, a hollow one that cuts a circle (technically a cylinder) out of the bench.
I am so frustrated, I can’t remove the blue clip. Please explain how do I donot😢
I wanna do rhis, thanks for sharing your knowledge sir,,,
thanks for putting up this video.
Well explained and shown
Great video, sir. Do you know if that water filtering system will filter out flouride from the water?
I basically have the same set-up as explained in this video but with only one filter housing instead of two. Anyway, I changed our water filter cartridge just last week and the problem I have now is the water flow is weak from the water filter tap only (the pressure in the mixer in the sink is OK). Can a change in filter cartridge drop the water pressure?
Good video. Well done.
Excellent vid, helped heaps! Thanks mate.
Thanks :)
Need to see conection from filter to filter to bowl and waist everything
Very useful.
Thanks heaps.
thank you
I have the same system, even brand. My tap has now developed a drip after a few years use. I can't see any way to get into the tap to look for a washer. Does the washer (if worn) in the undersink T-piece (mentioned in this video) dictate whether or not the tap above drips? That looks easy enough to replace. I live in fear that the whole tapware may need to be replaced because internal washers are not meant to be changed! Luck of the Irish!
Cheers
Alan
@SpRstealthy No Problem
What if you do not have those switch to turn on/off the water line, where would you shut it off?
There is an isolation valve
I recently bought a briti system like this and the connector is to big to screw it to the tubes, how do I know what size connector to get?
hey do you need the tank?
Why do those pressure limiting valves cost more than the entire system??
Bang on tutorial
Good video I like it
How much does this water system cost?
wont the plastic put pests in the water? please help
Can I get some of those items at HomeDepot?
@rodnisimo What system is it? Also do you know if it has a PLV (Pressure Limiting Valve)?
aldi special?
instead of using a pressure limiting valve, couldn't you just not fully open the tap going to the filter? the cheap ones are like $50
Great video loved all the info it was really good.
But why are you calling it a faucet when its a tap, a filter tap, we in Australia call taps taps not faucets that's the north american way.
We are Australian not american please lets not loose our identity.
Thank you
