SB2 is the ultimate test of how much one can grind before losing their sanity to the horrid percentages and the fact that having worse ping and performance makes your numbers go orange thus decreasing your ability to get 10% damage on a boss and thus get a drop. It's probably the game that has opened my eyes to how much time I can sink into just getting something I want for fashion or for progress. Despite its flaws and the direction it has now taken, I would say that SB2 holds as much value to me as Dark Souls 3.
I genuinely miss this game and I hope SB3 is similar. This game was my childhood, I remember farming for durendal on floor 5. This was the game I played when I got around to watching SAO. I stopped playing because too many people were op so I couldn’t ever get that 10% on a boss to proceed
@@DropletsOfYakobii but it wasn’t doing quest nonstop, needing lvl requirements to go to areas (except for equipment) and a bad map even tho sb2 map is large I had fun exploring it unlike sb3 that makes the map so bright
