    Hi. Thses little can motors are just fine really and they are quiter than most of the original motors. I run DCC and they with a chip fitted they creep really slowly. You like to run at realistic speeds so in that case they look just fine. Nice video pal.

      Hi James... the cd motors very different... prefer speed not slow ... the lima 60 runs the smoothest.. regards Mark...

    Hesitancy will be dirty wheels and pickups and probably lack of bedded in oil too. Clean and lubed will keep these going for years. I’ve not used a single CD conversion before. I’ve never had the need! What do you do with the original bits? If you don’t keep them, sell them as some of us live using original spares! I’ll get in contact with you on FB, haven’t spoken since the Stonham barns event last year!

      hi william ... hope you are well ... i serviced both fully ... motors wernt good ... i trialed both with cd motors with success ... i to like the ringfields .. ill save the spares for my other locos ... thanks for watching ...
