Watching this in 2020 it makes me think that this could be a great game again. Contrary to what some people say, the fights and late hits from series of old didn't bring in fans. Ya, some people loved the fights, but it was reaching a point where they were becoming nasty and genuinely vicious. That's a different world to a bit of spontaneous argy-bargy. Since then, they've cleaned it up. I also think that both organisations have done a good job bringing players who are suited to this type of game. But I do think that it still needs its marque players to truly bring the fans back.

It's been scheduled in again (2020 and 2022) unfortunately covid saw the series that was meant to be played in Ireland this year not go ahead.. hopefully the 2022 game does however

My son is 14 and I'd love to take him to a game with hard & fair tackles, great contests, lots of scoring, and skills everywhere.
