A year later and this video is still helping people. I had no idea I could right click for the bidirectional waypoints. So much wasted time connecting them one by one. And being able to automatically curve the waypoints is game changing for me! Thank you so much!
I know it's been a while since you posted this but this has been the most useful Auto Drive tutorial I have ever watched! I have 170 hours in FS22 and have only just learned about side roads! Thank you!
You must be a teacher IRL. i have learned from your 12 minute video so much more what others cant do in 40 minute videos. you give clear info, straight to the point, the way how i like to absorb my knowledge! This one got my likes and you got a new sub too! Thank you!!
Not sure it was this video, but the wheel scroll for smooth connections was something I learned by watching your videos. THANK YOU for that, it'll make everything so much easier
@@MightyMikeFarms really great, I'm just getting into autodrive, and doing so on a custom farm in the S.E corner of Elmcreek... really need to clean up the autogenerated tracks and such, changing some from priority roads to side roads etc. And your video series really helped me there
You should continue this series in this short video I found out things I didn't know you can do such as deleting dots and making dots. I'm new to auto drive used to use course play in farming simulator 15 and I watched so many auto drive tutorials no one has shown things that were in this video. I know I'm late to your channel but it just showed up on my recommendation page on TH-cam so I hope there's more to come. Thanks.
You are just amazing I keep coming back to these videos if I need a reminder on how to do it, now if you could just reach into your bag of tricks and tell those of us who have a hard time driving straight : ) how to make good routes, not all maps use the workers network to generate autodrive courses and if you're on a 4x or 16x map it really gets messy.
Amazing is a stretch I think, but those are very kind words! As far as driving straight I actually use an xbox controller so I find it pretty easy, just take my time and slow down. Thank you so much for this comment, made my day!
I have used AD for many many hours but did not know about the side roads or that holding down the alt key I could click the points one right after another to change them. Thanks for the video.
I couldn't understand the process you did after 09:04. So, can you write the operations to make the green line (main road) yellow road (side road)? I guess the translation wasn't enough while watching. 09:04 ten sonra yaptığınız işlemi anlayamadım. Yani yeşil çizgiyi (anayol) sarıyol (yanyol) yapmak için işlmeleri yazar mısınız? izlerken çeviri yeterli gelmedi herhalde.
Something I noticed that's different with your autodrive and the default is being able to pan around while editing. Do you have a video how one can set that up? It gets very frustrating not being able to look around to see points. Great work!
@@FarmSimUniverse Yeah he had me playing Delta Junction and West Texas on FS19 and current on his FS22 Game Play. MM made me get rid of all my crazy mods and I started watching real-life farming videos and adopted my gameplay to that. MM, Farmer Girl Dag, and MR.SealyP are the TH-camrs I watch the most.
Make sure you dont have another menu hud open like course play as that could be causing it. Other than that I’m not sure, the way I explain it is how it works for me.
When I installed AutoDrive the tool function 4 for the 20ft Gooseneck trailer is not working. Also, I noticed the F1 help menu is missing a ton of keys and they added several for AD. Does anybody have a work around for either issue? Version 2.0.0.7
How do you use the mouse scroll wheel to create an arc? I left-clicked on the first waypoint, then hovered the cursor over the next waypoint, it just zoomed in and out. Are there any settings to enabled it?
Have a nice day. When starting the game, I choose the "no" answer to the "Automatically scan roads" section because I don't know the detailed usage and it is more convenient for me to create new courses in new jobs, but I cannot delete these routes and red lines. I searched a lot but couldn't find it, do you know how it can be deleted? My solution for this is that I can enter the autodrive file in the savegame file and reset it from the notebook. I would appreciate it if you let me know if there is a simple way around this situation.
@@MightyMikeFarms How I can draw manuel course in Courseplay? I want to draw mine course but I couldn't. So I want to sow my fields by plotting my route. You help me.
It looks like these side road nodes do not prevent vehicles cross them, but rather add some additional penalty into routes containing them. So if the alternative route is long enough, then a side road is still a preferable option.
The side road feature will be great! And thanks for pointing out left-control left-click to add a point. That also works in 19, but I had no idea it was there.

I’m very glad to see it is still helping!
Even in 2024 on Farmsim 25 these tutorials are applicable. Thanks Mike!
Glad it was helpful!
Man, I've been using AD for ages and I just realized I knew NOTHING before stumbling upon this video. Thank you so much :)
Happy to help!

Awesome! Glad it had value for you!
Been trying to get this to work for a while now and you are the first person to explain it properly. Thanks!

As far as I know you can only edit one at a time.
Thanks Nice video 👍
Thanks, Brian!
Great video i learned so many new things related to auto drive. Im having a problem getting past a drive thru trigger on A ramp on calmsden
Glad it has helped. Might check to see if you have collision detection on. That can sometimes cause problems with ground level changes.
@@MightyMikeFarms i will try turning that off and see. I wouldn't even have thought about that ty sir. I'll update after testing
That seems to have been the issues. Appreciate ya
when i want to move a dot you said to click the right mouse button but when i do that it moves my view and not the dot

cant seem to get the lines to arch like you displayed early in the video
Check out the first vid in the series around the 9 min mark.
i cant find autodrive anymore in the mods on pc

Yeah, this demo was for FS22.
Have a nice day.

I am not sure of a solution. I always choose to use the built in routes as it saves me some work.
If I accidently delete a waypoint on a 2-way path, how do I fix it. Any path I connect the two waypoints with is 1-way.
To change a one way to two way click end node then click first node.
Can I use for agricultural equipment and machinery this mod? For example, plowing or reaping crops
It is best suited for just driving. Courseplay would be your go-to for field work.
@@MightyMikeFarms How I can draw manuel course in Courseplay? I want to draw mine course but I couldn't. So I want to sow my fields by plotting my route. You help me.
Why did the small car didn't go all the way around and enter the two-way road from the other side? This way it wouldn't cross a side-road section.
It looks like these side road nodes do not prevent vehicles cross them, but rather add some additional penalty into routes containing them. So if the alternative route is long enough, then a side road is still a preferable option.
Correct. not a perfect system but does help to limit the travel down the side roads.
How you make the curve?
I explain that in the first vid of the auto drive series. Go check it out!
@@MightyMikeFarms Ok, thanks ;)
