Definitely. Would have definitely preferred this option if I had known about it before I went down a 10km stretch of road (huge map) clicking all the waypoints to one direction instead of bi-directional! Lol!
I came here after downloading an AutoDrive config file from the Autodrive Guy for the Castelnaud map. I was wondering what the brown/gold lines and nodes were and decided to watch this series. Oh man, this video in particular was awesome albeit watched a little too late on my behalf. A week ago I was was manually changing the direction of paths by clicking on points individually. What a chore! This will save me so much time in the future, thanks Mighty Mike!
These tutorials have been great! Thanks. AutoDrive is a paradigm shift for FS. Combined with production lines, I'm playing a farming and logistics game now :3
I still have not used Auto Drive yet but I still watch all of your AD videos repeatedly until I have it down for when I am very familiar with it, but I have got the Terra Farming down to a tee and will try using AD today when I fire up FS22 today. Thanks for all you do in proving these outstanding tutorial videos.
Loved the Auto Drive series. Straight to the point and showed some unique pointers, very much appreciated! Been spending the past hour creating different paths haha.
Thank you for this one!!!! I was going to have to delete the entire perimeter road system on a huge 4X map because the creator had the traffic traveling the USA way, but the road system diretion was based on England.
Oh of course just as I spent two hours the other day changing the direction one by one, again a nice bit of info and also I didn't know 2005 was out until now. I just wish they had some way of handling vehicle control when you're making the routes but oh well. I've been playing since farming simulator 13 when course play used to do the routes and everything on its own it's too bad we need two programs now to do the job. Thanks for the video always looking forward to it.
smart like a Gandalf!!! thank you very much... Creating a routes is almost as fun as plowing :) FS 22 is my first FS ever... and i love it (600h and my wife isn't very happy :) )
She's not happy because she's lost your atention.. She need your atention.. all women's do need atention. Ignoring her.. will be even worst. Don't ask how i know . hahaha
just found you today ...... your just a plethora of FS knowledge huh :) now I'm going to have to binge watch a bunch of your videos LOL I got the time :) one thing I kind of wish AD had is the ability to drive down a road once on one side and have Autodrive create a mirror path 10 or 12 feet to the left (Right for the English or left hand drivers) it would take me half the time when plotting a 2 lane route but beggars can't be choosers right :P
uou helped me alot, on my map (Gelderland) all routes are 2 way, but some are allready "doubled up" on the road so i can make them both 1 way in the correct order, and make a second road next to it if there was only 1.
How to repair a piece of a route for backwards driving? Accidentally deleted a node in a silo backwards path and can't seem to find a way to restore it.
I am always looking for ways to use Autodrive & Courseplay and enjoy your series as it has helped me greatly. I have a question about setting up a delivery to drop off points setup with the yellow/black corner markers, such as the animal dealer in the Elm Creek map. No matter where I set the marker, the trailer of product will go up to the box and stop short of the trigger and sit there. I would like to know if there's a way to get this to work with Autodrive.
I've found that creating the waypoint a little ways past the trigger location tends to help. That way the trailer can get into the zone before the tow vehicle gets to the waypoint marker.
@@MightyMikeFarms Thanks and yes, that's true for the majority of the triggers but if the trigger has the corner markers it seems to respond differently. It's like an imaginary wall that won't let a tow vehicle or trailer to cross the line and just holds it there without a notification. Maybe it's just that one trigger. I haven't tried others yet. Thanks again.
@@chriscarrico7557 That is weird. There are a few settings in autodrive you might can play with like collision, look ahead, etc. Sorry I don't have a definitive answer.
As all the others said this is very usefull! THX for taking the time to make these tutorials! 👍 But is there an easy way to check if an intersection is missing somewhere? I had some troubles with missing connections and it is taking a lot of time to go thru the hole path to find the missing connection.
I was directed to your video to assist me in learning more about how to edit courses. I am running the latest version 2 0 0 7 but when I try to change the direction or make a road a side road, it does nothing. Any ideas? Awesome series by the way.
I hate to bother you about this on your TH-cam channel but I've been playing a 16x map and it's taking me forever to put autodrive routes in, and I noticed today someone did the work and uploaded the course files. My questions is when I put them in the routes are all there but every field is outlined in a blue course line which doesn't attach to the routes on the road I thought who better to ask but an autodrive expert what this would be for.
Not 100% sure without looking at it but the line is probably there so when using auto drive for carting it will use that line to find the outside of the field and then follow that around to the waypoint.
Hello again, my friend, I have a little surprise for you, I'm working on embellishing the UMBREON VALLEY map that you once had the opportunity to play and make a few episodes, if you would like to see the changes I have made, I would be grateful the map will be more atmospheric and forest roads will be more realistic, as well as the port to be unloaded trees and some other changes, but I don't know how to change pda and ask if you could contact the map creator and send him the changes. I can send the map to you by e-mail, I need your e-mail address. Thanks in advance
When you changed the path to single direction at 7:38, did that change segments *past* the other intersection that you added in the earlier part of the video, or does the direction change only go until it hits another intersection?
Hope this helps! Please remember to click the like! Have a great day!

I haven't run into that issue yet. I'm not sure of the fix. Might be best to just redo the reverse part of the route and reconnect it to the course.
@@MightyMikeFarms that's how I did it now. Not an easy fix unfortunately.
