    This is just crazy. My Grandfathers great-uncle wrote this in the early twentieth century for a wedding in rural northern Sweden. And now a hundred years later the song has traveled across the atlantic to a guitar shop in Nashville.

      I know what you mean to be honest...she's an incredible player but this bluegrass thing about playing faster than the speed of sounds just drowns out beautiful melodies within. This is a gorgeous tune but it's hard to get a handle on the actual Melody. I'd go anywhere to watch her though...she's world class.

      I like the two guitar version equally, but the fiddle version drowns out the guitar, at least in the one I’ve seen.

    I like this shop, inventory wise, but their prices are soooo over the top it's a complete joke. I mean why would some fool (fools are usually broke anyway) pay twice what a guitar is worth at this shop than another??? Merry Christmas!

    • @mbsnyderc
      @mbsnyderc 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Vintage guitars a collectables and in the case off this shop as it is in Nashville some of these come from well known musicians adding to there value.things cost what people are willing to pay for them welcome to capitalism.

    I love Molly’s playing of this, but I didn’t really care for the mando player’s bluegrass licks. Some of that harmony sounds a little jarring in traditional tunes like this
