  • Detailed comparison of the ICE Adventure HD and the AZUB Ti-fly.
    Both are e-assist Full Suspension Trikes with 26 inch rear wheels.
    There are many similarities and just as many differences.

      Thanks for stopping by. I enjoy doing it and if it helps someone with their decision, then I'm glad i helped. Always just my opinion and i'm not swayed by anyone elses'. I do respect others' views if they are different on a product, but nothing out there is all 100% perfect. I think i get that point across....Hey, this is a good topic for Riding and Rambling...stay tuned.

    Thanks for the guided tour of your trikes Mike. We gotta find out what’s up with the parking brake on the ice. It’s a great feature to have.

      We already ditched it for the pins in the grips like every other trike brand has

    I agree the diplay is really useless....Azub need to move it up to the handlebars

      i dont have a computer on the Trike. I had one on my old Trike, but none since. There are far better apps for your phone that keep track of everything for you. I use both Strava and 'Ride w GPS'

    Have a disc break parking brake on my ICE Sprint X 26 Tour, works fine.
    Had flags slowly get pulled out of the seat, one falling on the road. Better of bolting them to the seat with the accessory.
    Stopped watching after the flags as different experience.

    • @TrikeWithMikeTX
      @TrikeWithMikeTX  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We had the disc brake too. Ours must have been faulty or something. the dealer replaced it with the regular button handles and we've been happy since.

    Are these safer than traditional 2 wheel bicycles? I assume they are, but how much safer?
    After 2 serious accidents (bike flipped in wet pavement recently) I’m considering a trike. I’m too old to break another bone.

    • @TrikeWithMikeTX
      @TrikeWithMikeTX  หลายเดือนก่อน

      This is precisely why all of us are riding them. I broke an arm mountain biking. Rich had several catastrophic 2 wheel crashes. It is so much better than a 2 wheel bike. Watch the 'Rider Spotlight with Tom, and coming soon, Rich. You will hear some of their stories.

    Surprised to see you lying on the ground to get the seats on & off. I’ve an ICE adventure & never laid on ground for any aspect of service/maintenance

    • @TrikeWithMikeTX
      @TrikeWithMikeTX  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The ice Adventure HD and my Azub have a little wider seats and i find it more awkward to try and connect/disconnect while not on the ground. with the azub i've accidentally hit that slider disconnect as well.

    I tried both models.
    I think AZUB Ti-fly is better!
    While riding the Adventure FS model, the rear wheel lifted and both knees hit the asphalt road.
    I thought my knee was broken;

      i havent mentioned yet, but the suspension on the Ti-fly is 'connected' and the suspension on the ICE just floats and is not connected

    The seats are nothing alike. Sorry, but they are extremely different except that they both used black material, reflective material and mesh.

    • @TrikeWithMikeTX
      @TrikeWithMikeTX  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      I agree with the differences. But everything else about them looks like the same company makes these for them.
      But the seat area (butt area) is much larger on the ICE and then the Ti-Fly has a raised area to keep you from sliding forward. Maybe more detailed video on the seat differences would help viewers with that. Thanks for the reply.

    • @mikejrSAA
      @mikejrSAA 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I can't speak for ICE, but AZUB seats are a cool design that locks you in (comfortably), and helps me when "leaning" into a turn, as well as keeps me from sliding forward.
      Great content

    • @jgbarre
      @jgbarre 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I like the ICE seat more. The “seat” area on the ICE is larger which I like. The AZUB makes me feel like I’m sliding off.

    • @jgbarre
      @jgbarre 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Azub display is too far away and hard to see. Should be moved to the handlebars.

    • @TrikeWithMikeTX
      @TrikeWithMikeTX  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@jgbarre I think the reason they dont do that is the way they route the cabling through the bars. But with the steps 801 it is better than anything i've seen on the phone.
