    A work of photography art Matt- No flash drones- the hard working callous hands and veins- his smile- his pride- his concentration - quiet pulse of soft music in the background as a life is formed and grown- just drill sounds and the odd chat- I’ve followed your photography work over the years and all that wisdom and experience has been wrapped up into one hell of a presentation-this is worthy for a documentary award “ Academy Award” you respected the maker-the Azub company and the vision of recumbent community. You have arrived to becoming a classic artist ❤- just by pedalling a 3 wheel around the world GO FIGGA - but seriously acknowledging your collective eye and skills over many years- I see an ultimate maturity in this work. Well done!!!!! Our culture acknowledges the first breath of a baby when born it sneezes which we call Tihei Mauri Ora. I thought of that when the concluding shot showed baby on a pedestal. Kia kaha Continue to be strong in your work looking forward in meeting you one day - my indigenous whanau Family of the Māori people of Aotearoa New Zealand await your visit. Safe journeys 😊

    I wanted to publish this video as a wrap up to my Italy trip videos. I made this when I was building the trike in Czechia with AZUB. It's the complete build of the trike at the facility from start to finish in #dreambuild style. Hope some of you like it.

    When I first sat down onto the seat of an AZUB tricycle for a test ride some 9 years back, I could instantly tell it was a quality machine. That's why we now own two: a TriCon and a Ti-Fly. It was awesome to watch the hand crafting that goes into the assembly process. The welds are beautiful. AZUB is a quality machine from design to execution. In my humble opinion, the best available. Thanks for sharing this video. Glad you are a member of the family.

    That's definitely quite a bit of custom hand-work and re-drilling on all those pre-made parts of the trike. I thought that the shopping cart was really a unique manner to store parts, kind of quaint. One thing I like with AZUB is their use of red anodized aluminum accents here and there on the yellow trike - really looks super sharp! It's fun to see the behind-the-scenes aspects of trike manufacturing. Thanks for sharing Matt.

    Very nice presentation here Matt! It certainly shows folks the intricacies of a recumbent trike, which far exceed the common bicycle most people ride. This is a real vehicle, capable of traveling anywhere and any distance in total comfort, something that is not possible on a bicycle. Thanks for the show!

    Turning the trike vertically for chain being inserted in the chain tube makes quick work of an otherwise tedious chore. On a Pacific Coast tour, I had a chain break, and parked alongside the rural road to fix it. The chain had exited the chain tubes (gravity) when it originally snapped, so I had to re-feed it through the tubes with the trike in horizontal position, which takes a whole lot longer than the procedure shown here in the factory!

    This is absolutely amazing how much detail work they do on these trikes. They really put their hearts into their work at Azub, and that’s wonderful to know. My next trike will definitely be an Azub. I love how this video shows the amount of detail and time these guys take on one trike, everything torqued, screwed and assembled perfectly and done with sooooo much care. ❤❤❤❤❤ You’re truly lucky to have had this experience Matt I’m super jealous man!

    Frame: 6:05.. i have never seen a reverse side countersink. AZUB's air tools are amazing. These are not cheap to build. We forget about how expensive aluminum molds and production is.. My father's irrigation business has 3 aluminum molds that are $12k each, they are rotated into an oven, while one is cooling and one is being loaded with resin. This completely makes his operation look simple. WOW.. I have far more respect than i did 15mins ago.

    • @JaYoeNation
      @JaYoeNation  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    The only aspect of the Rohloff Speedhub I did not like was that I was continually rotating the twist grip shifter, every time I wanted a different gear, because the Rohloff was the only shifting on the trike (a single chainring up front). Lots of twisting going on for Rohloff users! Other than that, they are outstanding! I now use bar ends, with a rear derailleur and a rear internally geared 3-speed hub (single chainring up front), so no more frequent twisting. I actually prefer the shifting experience I have now over the Rohloff.
    steve

  • @EZSteve
    @EZSteve 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

    When I had my Rohloff Speedhub on my ICE Full Fat, the cables that go into the hub shifter mechanism had been cut too short (brand new trike). The first time I rode the trike, I had only pedaled a half block (literally) and one of the two cables disengaged with the shifter mechanism at the hub, leaving me unable to shift. Needless to say, I was not too happy on my maiden voyage! I watched the Rohloff tutorials on their website, and pulled the mechanism where the cables enter the hub off so that I could reconnect the cable that came loose. Unfortunately, when I cut off the frayed end, there was not enough cable left to reconnect, leaving me the only option of buying two new cables from Rohloff, and waiting a couple weeks for delivery (all the while, unable to ride my brand new ICE trike). When I received the cables, I cut them to the designated lengths and reconnected them to the Speedhub ... it all worked fine from then on. I notice in this video that AZUB has that metal tube with the specified length so that he could cut the cables precisely, which alleviates the problem I had! Way to go AZUB!

    I'm curious about the potential photographic impact of suspending your trike from a high-tensile fishing line attached to an overhead turntable, as opposed to having the trike simply sitting on the turntable. It could be an interesting concept to propose to Honza. Aside from this, the video provides an impressive compilation of moments captured during the assembly of the Azub TiFLY X.

As a result He alienated a good number of subscribers, who just interested in the travel Vlogs. over a year ago he had 135,000 subscribers now look how many he has. Interestingly is the number of views each of his vids now get... compared to before he went political. I can't speak for others but my own reaction ( which surprised me), to His involvement with Azub ,was immediate repulsion. I love the trikes but Matts involvement with the firm , for me< is very off putting. I suspect in the USA some will also react the way I do and will purchase other brands.

    • @JaYoeNation
      @JaYoeNation  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      A couple things.
      I have never been above 125,000 subscribers. I have lost a few subscribers since leaving china to the states, but not that much. I think it more has to do with the china content switching to living in america and my lack of posting frequency. The videos do have less views than some of my older content, but my travel style vlogs have all been pretty slow but consistently growers.
      As for your disappointment, nothing I can do about that. I have always spoke my mind, even on the road. Many of my cycling friends have diametrically opposed views to mine, and we enjoy the disagreements we have with eachother, while appreciating our shared joy of cycling or travel. I imagine if I supported your views more you may have a different opinion to me sharing them.
      Honestly, You are the first person to say this in the comment section and thru word of mouth. The american and global trike community has continued to be supportive and appreciative and I have yet to hear anything to the contrary beyond what you write here. In fact, a number of my friends and viewers have messaged me about learning about AZUB thru my content and have made purchases based on what they have seen.
      If you have two TiFlys and you dislike the brand on the basis that I have one too and enjoy it, it does make me wonder though. It’s a pretty myopic take. AZUB is a lot more than just me and there is little doubt they make a kickass product with a lot of hands on quality focused craftsmanship. They have lots of ambassadors around the world who have all sorts of opinions.
      Anyway… I just wanted to address the comment. Enjoy your cycling whatever you ride. But It’s sad that you have enjoyed two amazing trikes for so long and I could be the reason for your dissatisfaction.

      @@JaYoeNation So I was in error about that(number of subscribers) but I assume the roughly 2000-3000 views you get each vid is correct.
      My wife and I each own a TiFly, I am looking at buying a 6 next year. Your previous politicization really horrified me. Its not based on where you were living but on your narrowness of focus in your thinking at that time. I only returned to you Channel because I was getting sick of the prompts from AZUB to watch your channel
      You involvement with AZUB does have me seriously considering looking elsewhere for a 2 wheeled recumbent. I live in Europe so it has nothing to do with USA politics. I do think there are people in the USA who will move to other makes because of your involvement however the significance of that number may be low( I just have no idea). The fortunate thing is most of the people alienated by your political posts already owned a trike, so the damage to Azub may be less(Lets hope) than my reaction might indicate.
