It works very well. Placement is everything. I put mine adjacent to an automatic feeder, so the bucks feel comfortable. If they feel pressured, they just go to a more comfortable area to rub off the shed. Placing the shed collector in the vicinity of a "Rub" works well too. A "Rub" as you may know, is a small tree or shrub that the bucks use to rub the velvet off of their antlers as they are growing. They often return to the same area when it's time to shed the rack.

My best shed, so far, is a 14 point. I'm going to mount that one.
