You can use array to store all pin declaration values at once and a for loop for simplicity of your code.

Ampere is not enough. Use a power supply of at least 5 volts and 2 amps.

You need a special power supply. The computer doesn't draw that much current. The voltage is fine, but the load is quite high. Of course, I would put a resistor on each lead so that the Arduino is not destroyed.

I'm surprised that your Arduino didn't get destroyed. Let's calculate that one salt takes 20 milliamps x53. That's 1060 milliamps. Without resistors for each LED, the Arduino will destroy itself. Arduino is protected with 220 Ohm resistors.
