I've been down the rabbit hole of plane alarms and accident animations & felt really stupid not knowing what windshear was Great vid and visualisations help a lot, thank
Sir.. I am an Aeronautical engg graduate... It's useful.. Plz keep on update more videos like this... If possible plz post videos about EVTOL Concept... Vertical take off and landing.. It's future of air mobility
Great video, sir and I like an idea for you if you can just collect all the questions on the written exams about this specific picture and question related to wind share and make another video because the students usually answer this question wrong on the test For example of the test has a figure of four airplanes and the question is gonna be about which one will be climbing or descending the glideslope or what is gonna happen to the aircraft number two and things like this?
No, because windshear can occur without a microburst, as explained in this video, but it will also occur from a microburst - as with other things. There are many causes of windshear, of which, a microburst is one. Wind shear is the result.
I always have confusions in wind shear like how head wind component is decreased etc but this video made it clear in 3 mins . Thank youuu ❤️
Glad it helped! Check out my other videos as well!

will not that!
microburst reminds me of delta 191
It is quite dangerous
Warning warning windshear ahead windshear ahead! Just did a weather radar ground test today on a 747-400
Wow that's cool! :)
Microburst means?
Its a sudden downward flow of air!
A sudden downward flow of air that is usually associated with extremely heavy precipitation and a large cumulonimbus cloud formation.
Wrong. Windshear is the excuse weather forecasters use for a botched prediction.
Hahaha maybe!
Is windshear and microburst the same?
Almost the same! A microburst can lead to a windshear.
not velocity, its only direction. velocity is gusts
Cool! Thank you for the info!
Perhaps not - but it can be - especially in microbursts.
Can u hear wind sheer?
yes yes!
İsn't windshear and microburst same thing
They are related!
