Hey again o/ With that mushrooms its not a glitch they have just different spoilage time ( new harvested are fresh ). but you can put them together and they have avarage spoilage time from both. Mechanics of food here :)
The lag is probably exacerbated by all the raindrops. The area you're in is actually pretty nice. Ample rainfall and medium fertility soil, with plenty of clay and animals to hunt (some of which, admittedly, will want to hunt *you* too...). Also, it would behoove you to hover your tool tip on patches of ground of different colors, to see what they might be. The only real lack is wood, so you might want to relocate a little closer to some trees -- but I wouldn't advise you to try to live *in* a forest. I also haven't seen any cereal grains or vegetables -- or ore deposits, but it's still really early and you've mostly crisscrossed the same patch of ground. I look forward to the next episode. The appearance of that "portal" means imminent drama. 😁
Gz😁you survived your first encounter with a wolf 😁👍and yes, you can usually outrun those. They don't follow you for long 😊

Ah, ok. This makes total sense. I didn't think about the possible spoilage times. Thank you for that! Vintage Story is awesome😅

There's a patch of blue clay right outside Old Eyes' wagon, just a heads up. :)
There's also some fire clay at the entrance to your cave.
