This is the absolute best version of fox on the run, I’ve seen like 10 different singers for sweet and this dude is hands down the best
Nah brian connolly I personally think is the best
I agree this version from Hanover feels heavier and I like it not that the originals bad.
I tuned in not thinking it would be much, I was wrong. Good job fellas
Saw then in Hamilton NZ around '86 and the singer here was the bass player back then.
Nice & RAW !!!😁🤟
Always loved SWEET !
C'est super
Love the singing style and just the vocals of this song and other similar bands of this eras sound like this. Song this song!
Sounds incredible
Great to see the ol' boys back together Bo squires, Adrian Mc Dougall and a few others
FN BEAUTIFUL
Love it, love Andy
WOW! Awesome performance!
The skip at the 1:10 mark must be a defect on the video that was uploaded, I have this full concert on dvd and it plays perfect, no skips on this song or the full concert at all, watched it many times
🔥🔥🔥
EXCELLENT!!! Force!!
Great!! F-foxy...🎸❤️🤘
I Was Working a Band venue in the early 90's and these guys were playing, The lead singer drank 3/4 of a bottle of Bourbon just during the sound check, and 2 hours later he comes out with another bottle, drank that one on stage during the performance! LOL Funny thing is he never stumbled, didn't sound drunk, it was great!
Must be something about singing for Sweet and liking booze.
Cocaine is one helluva drug
Fake booze for show?
Must have been original lead singer Brian Connolly not Mal McNulty singing here. In the early 90's Brian Connolly was using the bands name "illegally??" while doing hit or miss tours. He was a bad alcoholic and died from it in 1997.
I wonder what it really sounded like.
I like it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
Heavy Metal Sweet!!!!
Rip brian
Andy Scott on guitar is the only original member here.
ooh...ouch.
Actually andy scott wasn't an original member of Sweet, the original guitarist was a guy called frank torpey
You can find anything on TH-cam
So many bands and performers depreciate over the years whereas these guys only appear to be older as they put out musicianship, performance, quality and energy just as they did decades before.
George Penwell. this is not the original band sir..
George Penwell. very good none the less!!
Well who doesn't go through some personnel changes over the decades right? LOL!
@@jaelge not one original member
@@sambrooks7862:
Andy Scott?
Great! But without Connolly's powerful voice is not the same :(
Bro this version is way better and this singer is better
@@lazarus9358 you've got shit in your ears.
@@lazarus9358: Brian Connolly is better it not even close. You must be tone deaf!
Not the same
No no no! Too throaty voice! 😡
Guardians of the galaxy made this song popular again in there soundtrack
Good although idk Guardians of the Galaxy
WICKED VERSION !!!! Best VOX ever !!!
I agree!! In just a few years time, Mal McNulty went from just the bass player to a bonafide metalhead lead singer. Quite a talented guy IMO.
@@johnhutchison9782 100%
@@jamesbell8861 and the fact he also has played guitar while fronting Slade, just crazy good! 🤘😛🤘
@@johnhutchison9782 Another band that I really enjoy !!! Mcnulty gets around !!! LOL I didn't know he sang in Salde. Thanks for the info.
Netflix series Mindhunter brought me here
Where's the 2 other Original Band
Привет ! Неплохо !!!
Ok so what happens about 1:14 in this video?

Them do
I agree I was born in 1975
Chris Tenorio I was born in 61 sadly they didn’t play much sweet here. Especially with the southern rock explosion 😞
Ace Frehly did a pretty good version as well
Mad Max was way better
When buffalo Bill is lead singer
Holy assisted vocals from the mixing board, Batman!
This version seems to be actually live or at least most of it. What's with that weird skip at about 1:14? I think this is the best 'live' version out there.
I agree! Metal Sweet rocked!
Where is Connolly? Where is Tucker?:(
Hey man, it was a long long sleep under that stone i guess … They have been passed away for years already ...LOL .. But i suppose you miss the real voices .. and i aggree
@@janwillemsmits1810: Billy Connolly didn’t pass away until February of 1997. This video was supposedly filmed in 1991. Connolly was still alive. But he had permanently left the band in the early 80’s. The band did reunite for special occasions a couple of times after the split up. But never again performed with each other regularly or recorded together. Sweet as we knew it, was done.

Who’s the singer ?
who's the singer???
He looks like a Quiet Riot performer...
Mal McNulty, but I'm guessing you found out by now.😛
There's more metal in Sweet here. Punk or hard Rock?
I am groot
Singers name please?
Mc Nulty
Please can anyone tell me who the lead singer is here?
Its in the description. Mal McNulty - lead Vocals
Malcolm McNulty and hes now lead singer and rhythm guitarist for Slade.
Was this all the originals??????
wheres mick?
Dead.
Mick Tucker became very i'll during the beginning off this tour. So the guy you see here was a guest drummer not knowing Mick wouldn't return. He had bone marrow cancer and did have several transplants from his daughter. Unfortunately didn't worked out and Mick passed February 14 2002.
Lead singers name?
Mal McNulty
This isn't the Sweet
Couldn't agree more, sweet ended when they sacked brian connolly in 1979. Every incarnation of the name since then is nothing more than a tribute band. I don't know how andy scott has gotten away with it, he wasn't even in the original line-up, he replaced frank torpey.
La voix de Brian est très supérieure.
GJ (`・ω・´)ゞ
NO BRIAN Not THE SWEET
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
not bad. although classic line up is way better!
Das hat mit Sweet nichts zu tun wo ist Brian Mick und Steve! !!
nice cover band
Это не "Sweet". Не то!
Ese nunca a sido sweet
Fake background vocals sad
Not sweet
the choppy guitar playing and crappy amp really killed the song
A lot of this ruins it. This is almost an example of why something so good should just be left as is. I question whether this is just capitalizing on the originals or truly loving the music.
@@fcaughli considering Andy Scott was on guitar here, and Mick was still alive but sick with cancer, I guess you could say Andy was doing it for the love of it.
Don't like it
Horrible defect..u ruined it.
