This is fantastic to watch. Complete mastery of the i-frames timing, perfect reads on the visual cues. Very impressive, keep it up! I wish you had a clip up from the Dread Behemoth hunt.

Ravus is a pretty slow boss so I decided to have fun with it and mess around with the sword and daggers. Glad you liked it too!

this is about the closest thing to a genuine odin fight we got in this game, hell he even sorta looks like odin, plus he has that zantetsuken-style attack that deals 9999 damage if it hits you.

I hate how most people think FFXV is a bad game, when actually playing it well requires skill.
Ff 15 is a bad game except for few moments but it's bad overall
I've been playing the game's combat for 2000 hours plus and i honestly find this impressive but still easy.
it only gets REAL hard when you have no assension nodes unlocked. so you cant air dance and perfect phase. and of course with the addition of being lvl1, no food, no items, no magic, etc.
oh and default gear, no accessories and lowest damage weapons.
This is the hardest the game can get. and its possible, ive beat the game with this. it was painful but possible

@@polloita1220 hell no. But i have beat menace in costlemark with lvl1 party and ascension nodes allowed. On my channel, it's a tutorial.

I know I'm late, but can you tell me if it's possible to beat the game without any of the food buffs or items like you use in this video? I'm planning on doing a level 1 run through because honestly the game is just too Damn easy (wish they put a hard mode)
Yeah it should be fine. If there are any parts that you find too tedious to beat without items, you could probably just impose a limit on the amount of items you'd let yourself use like in Kingdom Hearts or something.

how do you do this like changing your party back to lvl 1
To be lvl 1 you gotta start off a fresh game where everyone is lvl 1 then give someone the Nixperience Band accessory which prevents exp from being used to level up while resting.

It makes me uncomfortable as well cause it's a lot like Resident Evil transformation.
He lost his mother, his kingdom and throne, his sister died and then he was turned into a monster. He even cries at some point to end his suffering. Ravus had a terrible life and lost everything. He was propably waiting for king regis to help him and his people but no one was coming.

The combat in FFXV is so good, I feel like people dont realize just how great it is because they just spam items whenever they go down.
My first no item playthrough (which was also my first lvl1 playthrough) it just clicked.
The combat in this game is phenomenal, but it's weighed down by having pretty much infinite items.
TLDR: don't use items, it makes FFXV actually really good and fun.
Though I gotta say, Type A control scheme: SUCKS, Type B good, Type C also sucks dick.
Not sure what the point of fighting him at a low level is,or even getting to this stage of the game at such a low level is,as you would have missed a shit ton by doing so.I remembe beating him in about 30 seconds,saying that i was lvl 100 at the time.
For the challenge. Same reason why people do Soul level 1 runs in demons souls, dark souls etc.

I've played all main line FF games 1-15 and will play 16 when it comes out. with that said i love all combat systems, og turn based, ATB system, or action combat. My favorites are ff5 cause job system, ff7 cause flexibility of materia , ff10 cause party member exchange in combat plus true turn base combat, and ff15 because you can play in MANY different styles. imo ff15 has the deepest combat in any FF game to date. And also you can beat ff15 at lvl 1 which isnt possible in other ff games so thats amazing. PURE SKILL. But keep loving old ffs you typical boomer. there is so much things you missing out in the new stuff.
And no FF is not a series of turn based rpgs. LUL not anymore at least. its about changing for the better. keeping one thing the same forever is bad. But dont get me wrong, i love some good turn based FF as well.
FF to me has always been about the story, the music, and callbacks from other games.
