  • After defeating Foras during the Final Fantasy XV Main Story Quest, Noctis and the team still have a long way to go before they reach the Crystal. As soon as they make it to the Hanger they are greeted by Ardyn Izunia and what's left of Ravus Nox Fleuret! His corpse has been partially transformed into a Daemon and reanimated! Ravus begs Noctis and his friends to kill him and they are left with no choice but to destroy him. Ravus is weak only to light elemental attacks, some examples include Ring Magic like Holy, The Sword "Durandal", The Greatsword "Dominator", The Polearm "Radiant Lance" or "Glow Lance". He is not weak to magic but heavy damage can be achieved using multi casting to do repeated damage especially when he is immobilized and vulnerable. His attacks are slow and extremely telegraphed and easy to dodge. Although not very fast, Ravus is extremely powerful so make sure to stock up on Pheonix Downs, Hi Postions, Ether and Megalixers or you can find yourself short on teammates real quick. He can take a massive amount of damage and the fight can last as upwards of 8-10 minutes. Make sure to stick and move, Warp Points are generously located and can provide a temporary Oasis great for dispersing aid to your teammates while they keep Ravus distracted! Keep in mind once you have defeated Ravus there is more fighting to come before you can reach any type of Elemental Energy Points or Vendors so you may want to keep some Items and Magic on reserve.

I just figured out a way to beat him. Wear the magitek suit and your invincible! Literally doing that now. And I haven't taken any damage. Or my game is gitched.

The way to beat the game is to stock up on healing items. The inventory system in the game is essentially broken because there is no opportunity cost to using healing items, and even if you "die" in the game, you are still given another few seconds of invulnerability to use a phoenix down, which will restore you to full health.
There is no actual challenge in this game unfortunately. The determining factors aren't your skill, your strategy, our even your level. They are:
      1) How many healing items you have in your inventory.
      2) How frustrated you are by having to constantly open your inventory in order to spam said healing items (which becomes increasingly tedious when fighting more powerful enemies).
      3) How long you are willing to wait for an enemy to die.
