I have a Rio Bravo with the somewhat Tactical stock. It is an excellent shooter at 25 yards. I put an inexpensive 4X32 scope and hit everything I was shooting, including golf balls. Took scope off to try the fiber optopic sights. Once I dialed it in again, shooting very well. I have Henrys. The Rossi Tactical stock feels so comfortable. I am really happy with mine.
Totally agree with putting a scope on the gun (we own the same Rossi, and Henry)...without the scope our old eyes can't see a golf ball at 100 yards, with the scope we can hit the golf ball sometimes (cheap bulk ammo ain't the most accurate, who knew?)...fun gun for plinking, and it would do fine on small game...
Sweet little rifle for the money.Better deal then the Henry 22 lever gun. the Henry I bought had a problem with paint pealing off the receiver Zinc cover. Sold it for loss and bought the Rossi.
Here in the United States, We can get this rifle for about $250 USD. I especially like the Polymer furniture version. it comes with fiber option iron sights, and Mlok slots. and some versions even come with pica tinny rails. I really like those features.
Nice rifle. I saw the low score on reloading it. I don't have the Rio Bravo but another tube fed .22lr. I hated the painfully slow reloading process with tube fed magazines until I bought a Ludex speed loader for it. It holds 120 rounds of 22lr and allows me to load 15 rounds in the magazine tube in under 2 seconds x 8 tube reloads. Makes my rifle and much more enjoyable to shoot.
600.00 is rediculous for this! I've had the wood stocked one in .22 LR for about 5 years or so and have never had a problem. Easily as accurate and reliable as the Henry I used to own. I recently bought the polymer stocked one in .22 mag and so far it is everything the .22lr is. But I never paid anywhere near 600.00.
I have the plastic version. It was only 200 dollars but it fails to feed and eject constantly. I recently gave it a deep clean, so I’ll test it out next time I shoot. Thing really pissed me off but it was cheap.
The traditional wood stock is nice, but you overpaid for the gun...I'll grant prices keep going up, but a basic .22 lever action (Rossi, Henry, anyone else) should be well UNDER $400...
I seriously doubt someone as a real shooter that doesn't know how to drift in a iron sight, I've been doing it for years. And when two different people are that far apart on a target it's time to get someone that really can shoot. I also know some of those rifles have windage and elevation adjustable rear sights (but not the one you're shooting, drift adjustable) why people that call themselves shooters can't take a second to zero the sights I'll never understand, I've got all my rifles with irons hitting dead on at a range satisfactory for the caliber.
We took this gun straight from the box and hit the range and touched on how we would drift the sights over several times. As far as why we were both shooting different, buckhorn sights leave a lot of room for interpretation. Thanks for the view and the comment
$500? $600? What are you smoking? Buds Gun Shop $307 (plus shipping, tax and $25 transfer so... mid $300's). Just saying. And sounds like you got a lemon... literally all of the other reviews I've seen show good accuracy and no such problems. Saw one where the front barrel band was loose... and needed tightening... But, you got what you got I guess.

I will pick mine tomorrow. I hope mine does not come with any weird issues
Neato. Looks like a fun plinking rifle!
I got the Rio Bravo Gold. It’s doing short, long and long rifle with few issues. So far it doesn’t like Remington gold. Everything else ran fine.
Picked up mine as promised and I put 400 rounds of CCI standard round nose. No issues whatsoever. Haooy with the purchase

Fantastic gun and regardless of what anybody says to the contrary
We really like it as well! We will like it even more once we get the sights adjusted :)

Where?
My winchester 9422M is an absolute Rodent Destroyer 😊
I can’t pull the ring at the bottom that mean I can’t shot can you teach me how to fix it, thank you
I would take a look at the manual
How much do 22.s cost in your area??? The prices you quoted are insanely high!! I picked up one of the for just north of 300 bucks
Depends on the model
I got mine today with a lifetime warranty on everything for just over $400

That sounds like a great option. I'll have to look into that!
I do like the wood stock

We paid 500 and change in 2021. Just reflecting the current market price. Stuff goes up. Remember 200$ SKS's?
If two people are aiming different. Says at least one person is wrong if not both.
Neat
$600? I know that's CAD but geez, I just got a barely used one for $199.
Yeah, they seem to have come down in price since then. And sadly our maple dollars don’t go very far

Seems to be a recurring theme
I paid 270.00 today. I’m in Northwest Georgia
We’re in Canada
I'm in Georgia too; where did you buy it for that price?
It’s $300 high end where are you getting $600?
CAD. Not USD
500?!?!?!?! I can secure these 350 for the fancy brass version (as an ffl dealer)
In the US, likely
Wow you paid way to much for that rifle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We feel the same
The traditional wood stock is nice, but you overpaid for the gun...I'll grant prices keep going up, but a basic .22 lever action (Rossi, Henry, anyone else) should be well UNDER $400...
They have come down substantially since this one was bought
I gave $336.00 for mine
USD?
@barelytactical900 America dollars 👍

…did you even watch the whole video when we touched on this? Guess we’re not the only ones who missed ;)
