Actually not, because the individual joy cons are different. For example:
The Splatoon Switch Console comes with:
Left Green/Pink Right
The Individual joy con set comes as:
Pink Left/Green Right

@@dawi those are ugly ! Plus they won't function the same , the joycons I mean. Those shells are not worth it , they'll damage your joycons. Something could easily clip the edge of it and rip it in half!! Since they do bulge ~ I don't reccomend it. I'll wait for an official joycon instead :)
@Six Station Studios well not everyone is capable to do that too~ I've seen few DIY videos. Looks like a lot of work, you might end up ruining your joycons If you don't know what you are doing 😂 that'll be me , unfortunately.

No, of course not. You’re assuming it would be a constant in your face type deal, but the brain is great at selectively focusing on one thing. You won’t even notice. I have 4 Neon Colors and never really think about them while using it in Handheld.
Not for me, I have blue and red, and splatoon colors
I have the standard blue and red one and it doesn’t distract me at all considering they are both neon too

I prefer the Pikachu yellow to the neon, pikachu yellow and dark blue is probably my favorite. But overall, there isn’t many bad combinations. It’s even more customizable now with the purple/orange set.

My fave Joy Con combinations r the Neon Green & Neon Blue (both ways but preferably Green on the left and blue right), Neon Green & Neon Red because of Sceptile and the Animal Crossing Joy Cons! I want the ACNH and Neon Green Joy Cons so bad!
I got my Nintendo Switch with gray Joy-Cons as a Christmas present back in 2018, and in June-July 2020 my right Joy-Con has developed a problem of always going to the home menu, I tried fixing it. It didn’t work, and I have some new Joy-Cons being delivered right now! (my left Joy-Con is perfectly fine, though.)

Do you think Nintendo will release a Flipped version of the Eevee and Pikachu Joy Con so you can get a full set of Eevee Joy Con and full set of Pikachu Joy Con? Also, the Neon Green and Neon Yellow is the best combo because both colors are super vibrant though Neon Red and Neon Green works too!
