Heightened and dysregulated sensory sensitivity is a very common for children and adults who have Fragile X syndrome, and can impact behaviour. In this webinar Bev Kadish discusses how the sensory processing disorders can affect the behaviours of many individuals who have Fragile X syndrome. Bev also outlines strategies to help give the person who has Fragile X the best chance to feel calm, alert and organised as a result of appropriate sensory input. Bev Kadish is an occupational therapist who has been working with children and adults with Fragile X syndrome for over 20 years, through her own practice (Write Start) and with the Fragile X Alliance Clinic in Melbourne.
