This is your sign to do a boys trip to pinehurst
Best collection of courses anywhere! Something just feels special about that place every time I set foot on it. #4 is my favorite, but can't wait to add 10 to the docket. Super happy for you bud!
Sounds like a great "give-a-away"
I aspire to have that beautiful swing you got Grant👍⛳️ It’s a work of art😊
Need golf friends first 😂 I'll go solo, why not 😅
@@Cuntymccuntface123or solo!
Grant you are so very right about walking. When I was down to a 2 hdcp my playing partners always wondered why I walked after teeing off ... Because you see the germs, the contours, the breaks while walking up ....I totally agree 💯
Grant drops so much knowledge in these videos. Everything from course management to mental game to swing tips. All for free! Thank you, Grant!!
I am a 12 hcap and my golf trip this year was to Big Cedar Lodge - friendly courses and so much fun. Might need to think about challenging myself with a Pinehurst trip next year if I can get that bad boy under 10! Thanks for sharing the course with us and putting on a show!
The ball striking on your last few videos has been so clean man! Proud of your development over this last year even through that down period. “Close!”
Grant…you are by far my favourite TH-cam golfer…such a nice manner, great swing, educational and fab content (and that’s coming from a UK subscriber)
One of your best videos. Great commentary and excellent camera work throughout. Like you said, it felt like I was out playing a round with you. Really well done.
That intro was something else 🔥🔥🔥
34:00 Knee crack camera man comment was hilarious
Your golf game got me to switch to Taylormade. Great content.
Dave the starter was so fun! The pet raccoon at the picnic
you about missed that stress free par on 5! i miss those all the time lol
We need the collab with scottie
How does it compare to the ocean course?
Ain’t gonna lie. I stopped watching the Rick shiels 10 shot challenge to watch this
Grant I’m 60 years old and me and the senior and senior community. Enjoy the content you put out. They are very informative as well as entertaining thank you.
Teul ddak
why you making it sound like you're old af. My dads 63 and would smack me if I mentioned the term senior towards him lol.
@@jeffyboi6969 right??!! I'm 65; a 3 handicap; walk every course; and beat my 35 year old son routinely. 60 is not old...
@@chrisdepoy3370 Bros acting like he's 80 😂
60 is not an old man bro my dad would hate this comment lmao
Hats off to the production team. I would rather watch this than anything on TV. You guys are amazing.
exactly! 1. only one ad 2. entertaining because he's skillfull and informative 3. would always give my time to an obviously decent human rather than the evil of the tv networks
Sky is a legend man. Videographer, editor, caddy, good vibes, takes this channel to the next level.
Yea, whatever you're paying them Grant, it ain't enough 😁
Factual

Came here to say this!
Great video! So funny when you said "over there are some giant cranes" **Zooms in on some excavators* 😂😂
Last video he called the roof of the cart the hood.
Tough look haha
The mans dedicated his whole vocabulary to golf. Cranes, excavators who cares, if you cant tee off it its a vehicle.
I came here to make this comment lol beat me to it
At least he didn’t call them bulldozers😂 a hoe is closer to a crane than many other pieces
I wanna go there!
Ur hairline is reseating
I just started playing golf regularly and decided to start watching it..this channel has been so fun and entertaining to watch. Wholesome, high level golf is my new favorite watch. I am subscribed and like every video lol. Keep up the amazing content! Can’t wait to watch this one!
Let’s go!
@@GrantHorvatGolfs this video was great! The solo rounds are just as fun to watch as the matches imo. Pebble Beach my fav so far. This is a close second!
This place looks awesome, to bad I’d score a 120 😂 😭
The bird was probably a turkey buzzard. They are huge!!
Or a red tailed hawk. Spotted chest 3-5ft wingspan
Just started golfing 3 years ago….I walked for the first time a month ago and shot my personal best 86….went home bought a walking cart and now I walk all the time and it was the BEST decision I’ve ever made. Keep up the great content and exceptional golf!!
Good on you John. Honestly…I’ve never been in a golf cart…always walk the course…more relaxing and great exercise.
Love how you handle yourself on the course. You don’t get down on yourself after a bad swing or putt you just keep your head up and keep playing and enjoy the course. Kudos to you!
I'd find it pretty hard to get down on myself with Grant's swing :D
Easy to say when you’re as pure as he is 😂 jk he has a great mental
@andyyyrl chuck it in there
You're playing unbelievable right now, man. I can't even begin to tell you how much I love your content. Loved your episode on DeerMeat4Dinner! I've been watching him for a long time and he seems like an incredible guy.
‘As good as I can hit it’ should be on a t-shirt.
Always enjoy Grants content. Most enjoyable creator on TH-cam
#10 is just raw beauty. You feel like you are isolated from the world out there it's so calm. Nothing to focus on but golf and the bird calls. One of my favorite courses in the world.
Come to Michigan. Northern courses allllll make you feel that magic for as little as $35/round.
What are you talking about?
You know it’s a good video when your on the couch pumping your fist when grant hits those putts! Keep up the great content!
That was great round for having never played it before! The 640 yard Par 5, the 265 Par 3, and those long, long Par 4’s make this course a real beast when coupled with those greens. Rooting for you the whole way. Editing by Sky was, as always, amazing.
grant i played this course at the end of april literally two weeks after it opened. Still to this day one of the best courses i've played and one of the coolest atmospheres and feels to any golf course. love the video.
I played number 10 in early April I was number 223 to play the course .. such an amazing course , it’s tough and the greens fast .. I enjoyed it very much
Damn, THIS is what I dream about. Youth, flexibility, balance, no arthritis/surgeries, unbelievably course WITH ZERO HOUSING, and ball striking talent.
Well played 👍
Thanks for taking us along😂
Grant: I had a ball watching You play Pinehurst 10. Your swing is right on the money. If You had it on the Pinehurst 2 qualifier, I think You would have qualified. Your game is solid and I love watching You play. Your Tube Channel is one of the best out there,
COME TO SOUTH AFRICA BRO COME PLAY OUBAAI GOLF COURSE IN George western Cape erni els golf course
Give it up for frickin Sky. These videos have been a step above recently
Grant- good round great ball striking. Lab putter will help you! Keep up the great content. #10 looks amazing
What a ride! Sat down with a cigar to relax with my favorite golfer and was on the edge of my seat the entire round.
You've been playing really well recently, Grant. Keep up the great content
Grant! Thanks for all the great content. By far my favorite golfer to watch. You really got me into golf and I recently broke 80. Let me ask a favor…. More frequent uploads! I have quite the content appetite 😂
I played number 10 and the big bird you saw was a eagle. On the long par 5 there is a giant nest in the trees on the right side of the tee box. Also I don’t know if you remember but on the cradle me and my friend saw you and you signed my towel and my friend shot even on number 10.
Team chompers very apt sponsor
May God continue to bless you Grant! Great video!
Thank you 🙏🏻
2:20 Grant... buddy... those aren't cranes LOL
I was coming here to comment that 😂😂
Yup. Looked for this… killed me hearing that.
Lolllll I died 🤣🤣 however if the trade-off is to not know what a backhoe is versus shooting, scratch golf I take scratch golf all day. Those are cranes now boys 🤣🤣
That is so funny... 2 birdies in a row and Grant takes a big breath and smiles.... He's hoisting the trophy in his mind... The Trophy for lowest score :)
Your play end to end is dialed in. With a caddy and some course knowledge this exact round easily 64. Incredible round. Lots to be proud of.
Bird probably was a heron/crane or a vulture, could’ve possibly been an eagle but kinda doubt it. Love your videos Grant! I live in western North Carolina and I’m the assistant golf coach here at our local high school. We have some of the best hidden gems in golf from personal experience. Mountain top, Wade Hampton, Highlands Falls and so many more. Would love for you to come up to this area and shoot a video. Let me know if you ever need a connection for these parts. Keep up what you’re doing man. Appreciate you ⛳️ !
Damn, almost finished and this is my 20th 30 sec commercial! Holy hell!
use me as a “give sky a raise” button
Sick vid Grant. Def looking into a boyz trip rn
Just started the video.. have to say.. so glad you brought Dave back in after your tee shot.
I love watching Grant swing a golf club. It looks so effortless.
Grant and Peter Finch are the smoothest swings in TH-cam golf.
I often find myself pausing, rewinding, and frame by frame analyzing his follow through. It’s effortlessly buttery smooth.
Had my only hole in one here when it was The Pit many years ago!
Grant, that was close to being 3 or 4 under. Solid round of golf on a great track….pure golf love the whole production.
I see a video of Grant Horvat playing golf at a cool course
I click
We love to hear that
love the quality of the golf, the course and the editing/production but after watching Kwon and his mates there is just something different about their vibe and how watchable that group is
Thankfully we get the choice to watch both
You get paid for this promo?
Well done, Grant....very close to your goal...enjoyed watching!
Plzzz get Wesley with the snake…. And Dod king
264y = 241m for a par 3 is brutal. The longest par 3 I've played so far is 241y = 220m and is exactly 3w for me, the longest par 5 was 625y or a good 570m (d, 3w, gw).
Nice game from you and to be honest pretty close to breaking 70.🙂
I used to live in Pinehurst. This site was another golf course until about 10 years ago. It was called The Pit. We used to play it all the time. It closed down and Pinehurst bought the land then sat on it for quite awhile. Course looks amazing and seems to still have some of the same routing/holes from The Pit. So cool to see what Pinehurst has created!!
Really has the most pure swing out of all the TH-cam guys...
Bar none. Cole from BustaJack and George from Bryan bros clear tie for second.
Had to have been the Pinehurst #10 Pterodactyl, its been around for awhile. Glad you got to see it while you were here
I haven’t played golf in nearly 9 years and Grant and his team have inspired me to get back into the game.
Playing well Grant. You play your best when your rhythm is good and your not trying to wallop it too hard!
With all your rounds lately....you could make your own "What If...." series lol. Keep the great content coming!
Gotta love a good conversation with the starter.
I never considered a trip to pinehurst before…..but I am now. The #10 course is excellent
21:09 “Stress free par” *Nearly lips out putt*
Thank you, Grant. Great course and well played.
Sky thinks he’s the main character
I like the cart convo about walking the course. I think one cart convo about golf etiquette per video would be a great addition as well. The "Good Good effect" has created a generation of new golfers that aren't respecting the game and especially not other players on the course. It's become a big problem that you guys can help with.
Glad to see the Spyder is back in the bag!
I get your love of walking but in the heat the speed a cart provides is a blessing. I play on 100 degree+ days in 2 hours. 4 hours walking in that heat is a nonstarter.
Great playing and review of #10! WOW!
Been using the 15 year old R7 taylormade 3wood my great grandfather used for the last 3 years and it’s my fairway finder might keep using it longer now
Only time Grant and I sound the same on the course 😂 46:50
Walked for the first time last week. Torrey pines south. Really enjoyed it
Course looks incredible. Grant do not watch this one back, it'll sting as you should now be holding the course record. Swing looking really solid.
nice to see the graphics get a little update!
sky’s commentating is fire keep that in the solo videos!!!
This was an incredible video! You hit your irons flush, all day. Great looking course, too. I played number 6 and can say that they all look spectacular. The guy at the beginning, David, I believe, was super friendly and welcoming. 👏
we need more Grant vids...with respect to all the YT content creators, Grant is king
I love the 2 lake courses and the North Carolina. Not many people know about the 2 lake courses right beside each other
Funny how golfing has developed over the decades , I have never used a golf cart , walked every course I have ever played on , yes , I think walking the course does give you a totally different perspective , you do feel connected . Great vlog Grant and great golf .
“It’s so new…. If you look over there- “(points at excavators) “cranes?” “Cranes”
What a great course and honor to be able to play so early. It’s crazy how golf can literally be a game of inches. Probably 5-6 inches combined from shooting a 64
I only walk….it makes time to enjoy the nature, chat with your golf mates and get a good lay of the land. Just finished volunteering at the Beachlands Victoria Open - PGA Tour Americas here in Victoria BC Canada. What a fantastic time. Come play next year Grant!! Your official invite! Haahaaa well, you have to qualify of course. Not a problem for you. Cheers ⛳️
I e always said that Grant is such a good and kind human being that he would never ever hurt a fly, we’ll just go to 40:31 and see for yourself!! lol. Love ya Grant, keep grinding bud!!!
Jack recently admitted to having the same 3wood for wait for it...37 years!!!
All 10 courses at the Pinehurst Resort are spectacular. I have only played #2 and #4 but I driven by or been in others clubhouses. Next trip down to see my daughter I want to visit the USGA and Hall of Fame next to the Resort. Within 30 minutes drive are 30 plus courses to play. The food in the Pinehurst Village is worth a trip.
Grant I've left you comments before how much I love your channel. You are so good at moderating these, it's become my new favorite evening and Sunday activity. Better than most golf tournaments if you ask me. If I could make one request, maybe because I am getting older but I've noticed some of the content creators out there in other segments are adding action type camera movement. The only critical thing I could ever say about some of these rounds is the camera action can be a tad nauseating on some of your close up dialog moments. This is in contrast to the smooth drone flyovers and somewhat steady drive shots. Just keep in mind that most of us are prob watching on a big screen TV and so don't let your camera guy get too loose or editors too crazy with the action camera movement. I just recommended you to my 74 year old parents, and I'm afraid that might come back as their complaint 😅. But anyway, dude love love love your content. Please keep up the great work, you are hands down the best golf content anywhere.
I love the channel too. But for me the abrupt jumpy editing when Grant is talking is very noticable. I normally don't care about editing or artistic intros but those jumpy cuts to eliminate any pause seem so extreme once I noticed them.
Fun round, well played!!
So I watched another ocean you tuber that I like to watch. Guess what he had this young man Grant fishing and scuba diving. Now if he starts hunting he will be an all-around athlete.
Great course, greens are nice and forgiving unlike #2 lol good round and I agree I could play that course everyday.
@GrantHorvatGolfs you did the same thing on the tee off 16.
Aim barely left and try to draw it into the slope... no.
Make that swing aimed 10 yards right, and you'd be close, but, otherwise, based on where you lined up, you need the high soft cut/fade... just like the putt on 15.
You are great at the firm right-to-left on putts and full swings, so either use them or learn the high soft fade. On putts and full swings.
:)
Love watching your vids. Thanks.
Such a beautiful course honestly
I'm from NC. It could easily be a bald eagle, we have them around here for sure. White head is the give away
I think my favourite part of the videos is Grant trying to not look too pleased with himself after nailing an Amazing shot 😅
Amzing content 👌
No one will see this but if you do:
Grant is on the 15th.
He sees 'slightly left to right downhill' ... and... he hits it strong at the left edge.
The ball never even sees the high (left) side of the hole.
Misses right, obviously.
Grant... play that a cup or even two cups (cup and a half) left, and play it soft off the putter.
He thinks it just 'came off to the right'... that's what it does, so play for it and enjoy the curl.
Grant made a great stroke. Wrong line. Let's go!
