Grant said “that’s probably the hardest shot in golf right there, the 50 yard bunker shot” which is crazy cuz Bryson had to get up and down from a 55 yard bunker shot to win the US Open this week..🤯 absolutely insane Bryson was able to do it

I cannot remember enjoying a player more. He is humble and confident at the same time. He is kind and ruthless at the same time. His talent is without question. He could beat me on 9 holes with a garden rake.
@@peterbonham5540 it was definitely filmed before the PGA otherwise Grant would have brought it up. My point is he's so damn good at golf that he can play casual golf with walmart kids clubs and thrift clubs between LIV events and majors and it doesn't affect his performance at all.

Wow! Just saw vid of you tossing ball to kid, and dude grabbed it an ran, and you flagged him down, and guilted him to give it to the kid. You are a class act! Most enjoyable golfer to watch, filling the shoes of Tiger and Phil. Been awhile since professional golf has had someone so fun to root for! Keep it up!
The “E” club in Ben Hogan sets is the pitching wedge. The “E” stands for “Equalizer,” which is what Hogan’s competitors called his pitching wedge because he was so good with it.

The clubs Bryson is playing may be old, they aren't crappy. Hogans are great clubs.
As soon as I saw Grant grab those Ben Hogan clubs, I thought to myself, "Grant's in trouble!" He's too young to know that them ol' school Ben Hogan clubs are ACTUALLY quality clubs. I played the Apex Plus clubs for a while bout a decade ago and loved them. Thanks for not telling him to do his research before buying those clubs for you Bryson! 👍🏾👍🏾. Great video!
I gotta wonder if he knew and they played that up a bit so Bryson didn't destroy a legit bad/cast club, or worse set. That said, neither of them seem to really "know" of the Hogan history where the club brand is concerned... Either way it's great for us "old fogies" to enjoy having something on these pups. The funniest thing I've had the privilege of witnessing this week, the sight of those clubs in the bin and Bryson wrestling through them, looking for the right one. Love it! 😂

I still have a set that Tom Kite played on tour, they still hit pure if you can hit them.

Great video Bryson. The atmosphere between you and Grant was so relaxed and it seemed like you both were sincerely enjoying being out there playing together. Some great moments and great humor in here. I loved the "I'll play you left handed" comment at the end. The look on Grant's face was great. He's such a genuine guy and can't really hide what he's thinking, yet he's so humble so it is a treat to see this kind of content. Must be Grant hasn't seen you play Martin Borgmeier yet. This kind of content is just great for golf. Maybe play with a women's starter set against someone.

I spend hours researching clubs, finding out which ones have the bigger sweet spot, are more forgiving, etc etc. This dude rolls out and crushes it with a 1970s set of clubs. Crazy stuff.

- Pitching wedge 1: re-angle face 5 degrees off stated. 😈

Impressive ball striking in this episode! The comments at the 21 minute mark regarding the benefits of putting yourself under pressure to make the putt instead of taking the gimme reminds me of comments Padraig Harrington has made on his approach to the game. I would love to see a collaboration here on TH-cam between you (Bryson) and Padraig. Both of you are pushing the limits of speed with a similarly passionate and aggressive approach to the game. Seeing you compare swing techniques on the range, playing a few holes together, and discussing the state of the modern game would make for must-watch golf content!

@brysondechambeau man I gotta tell you I love this channel. I subscribe to both you guys and also to Rick Shiels. I can hit the ball decent distance, for an older guy but you are playing a different sport. I love it when you dial in, 10.30 swing, 160 yards and whatever wedge. Putting, 48ft putt, uphill, furry green so less break, hit it like a 65 ft. Its amazing attention to detail and a total understanding of your game. It's a thing of beauty. If you ever come to play in the Colorado mountains then I'd love to come and watch you filming. I watch you every day, all the different formats - such fun. And your Crushers logo looks like my hockey team, Buffalo Sabres!
