My god! I just did this exact same thing! Played it 2 weeks ago as a 40th birthday present to myself! It exceeded all my expectations! A truly magical place and a must do for any golfing fan! Would do it again tomorrow if I could. Watching this gives me goosebumps again! Thank you for sharing!

I've seen other youtubers play this course, but watching Grant play it was a different animal. His positive outlook during the round is infectious. He has said it many times, "when you're playing well, it's so much more enjoyable". What a great game we all get to play. Oh yeah, thanks for the video......................
Daaaamn. You played amazing. Your golf since leaving the Good Good clown show is just off the charts. Mad respect for how steady you are under pressure. Some of the best course management this year. Even in many bunkers you played away from the cliffs and out of bounds.
I absolutely loved the way you filmed each preview of each hole. That was better than Good Good, better than any TH-cam golf video I’ve seen. Just the music and the shots you got were incredible.

I played the Old Course this year, finally after two trips to Scotland and many tries. It’s what we love about golf. Us being grown men and giddy playing a course that makes you feel inside like an out of body experience… great channel young man!!! Golf is the greatest!!! Ps. The Castle Course at St Andrews is Scotland’s Pebble Beach.

73 is just insane. I had the chance to play Pebble 7 years ago. What an experience, loved every second of it, even though shooting 88 did not ruin my day at all!
Without question one for the history books. Moreover, one of the best course blog on TH-cam. I like to believe that when you hit that final approach shot on 19 with the 8-iron...we ALL RAISED our hands up with joy to say "F' Yah." Thank you for taking us all for a ride.

I watch one of your videos every time now before I go play around. Your smooth swing and tempo stays in my head and really helps me on the course. Also your cool demeanor even after a wayward shot is also helpful to me to keep my emotions in check.

Honestly, your drive on the 11th looks out of bounds based on the shot tracer and location of the ball falling out of the sky in shrubs. Not sure how it ends up near the fairway. You need to thank your camera man for throwing it back into play lol.

You know, these guys travel and dream of playing this public course meanwhile it’s literally in my back yard and we hop on all the time and idk, it’s just crazy thinking that people travel all across to experience what we do most afternoons. After canning every 4-6-8 footer with not even a single lip out, Josh taking care of his man by getting the Spyder mention in there on 17, and Sky picking it up on the edit! Great playing ‘Grantula’ (shout out Cole!) and super video quality (does Sky do the drone shots too?) especially with Grant giving his best ‘Jim Nance’ voice to the opening! Watching somebody be so passionate about anything is incredible. Golf is a beautiful sport, and simultaneously one of the hardest games there is to play. I stopped playing when I was 18 or so, but at 34, these golf TH-camrs have gotten me excited to start playing again, or at the very least give it a try. BobDoesSports, Grant, Good Good, Rick Shiels and so many others.
