Miley is incredibly underrated. She is one of the greatest vocalist of this generation.

She's been an incredible legendary hard rock singer for many years now..... she hasn't been a pop princess since she left that whole corporate industry. One of the greatest rock singers out there. Great combination, I gotta say.... never heard her sing WITH them like this, just doing covers of them. Cool reaction LoL - I totally get why you'd be shocked because yea her younger music was very different for sure LoL....
I was also very surprisingly impressed. I had no idea she could go that low with her voice!! WOW!
Miley sounds like Miley, NO ONE ELSE. And that is just one of her best features, another is her ability to get into the meat of the song both musically and lyrically... She is only one of only two (2) true alto range rock artists, and that gives her a totally new perspective to her covers and her own songs....
She has matured and has a good rock voice.
Look at her version of Heart Of Glass (Live from the iHeart Festival) and Zombie Live from Whisky a Go Go
She did a full video of this with Elton John playing piano. You need to watch the interview with stern where Elton said that this is one of the best songs ever written. James starts crying.

I feel like Miley's voice is the unfortunate design of music producers. When she is unleashed and is allowed to experiment with her sound she kills it. My favorite song of her is the cover of Jolene.

Miley was just after the time for me that I would have been a fan of hers, however, she has grown on me because of interviews, performances like this, and her album Plastic Hearts. I highly recommend anything off of there, but one of my favorites is a remix of her song Midnight Sky with Edge of Seventeen on which Stevie Nicks performs with her. I also really enjoy Night Crawling which features Billy Idol.

Well, we have so much things to talk. Miley has been doing a lot of rock's cover. You should take a look at Zombie, Heart of Glass, Maybe, Say Hello 2 to Heaven, Black Dog and her own song Midnight Sky live from Whisky a Go Go. Hannah Montana died a long time ago.
